The highest crypto fee rebates in 2026 are on Gate, WEEX, XT.COM and Ourbit, at 70% on futures, followed by MEXC, KuCoin and CoinW at 60%, Bitget, HTX and Pionex at 50%, BingX at 45%, Binance and Bybit at 40%, and OKX with a 20% auto-rebate + exclusive rewards. Each rate is what you get by binding a referral code through Fee Otter (checked October 2026). 70% is 3.5x a common 20% code: on 1,000 USDT of monthly fees, a common code returns 200 and any of those four returns 700. Against a common 20% referral code: Gate/WEEX/XT.COM/Ourbit at 70% is 3.5x, MEXC/KuCoin/CoinW 60% is 3x, Bitget/HTX/Pionex 50% is 2.5x, BingX 45% is 2.25x, Binance/Bybit 40% is 2x. On 1,000 USDT of monthly fees, a common code returns 200; through Fee Otter you get 400–700. Even against a 25% code, 70% is 2.8x.
Why do most people only get 20%?
To acquire users, an exchange pays a commission to the referring channel, and that commission is usually well above the 20% it auto-rebates to you. Ordinary channels keep the difference, so you only ever see 20%. Fee Otter instead returns most of it to you, at the rates in the ranking above. For the full mechanism, see why rebates can be higher than 20%.
That is also why searching for the "best referral code" really means choosing a rebate platform: a code is worth what it gives back. Compare two things: the rate you actually get once bound, and whether every settlement is itemized. Per-exchange numbers: referral codes and rebate rates for every exchange; platforms compared: best crypto rebate sites.
Rebate rate by exchange
Through Fee Otter, each exchange has a single rebate rate. The table below lists them (OKX shows its 20% auto-rebate + exclusive rewards).
Fees verified on 2026-09-24 (each exchange's official fee schedule). · Methodology
List fees follow each exchange's official page: Gate official fee schedule, WEEX official fee schedule, XT.COM official fee schedule, MEXC official fee schedule, Binance official fee schedule, Bybit official fee schedule.
How to start earning rebates
Register with a referral code, bind your exchange UID on the rebate platform (Fee Otter), and once your trading generates fees it's auto-approved, and then you can check your rebate and request withdrawals daily. Existing users can re-bind an account they already have: Binance, OKX, Bybit, Gate, Bitget, MEXC, Pionex, WEEX, XT.COM, HTX, KuCoin; every exchange's late-entry and rebind rules are in the rebind rules table for every exchange.

The highest rate doesn't mean the lowest cost
The rebate rate is "the percentage of fees returned to you", but each exchange has a different list fee. What really decides how much you pay is the net fee = list fee × (1 − rebate rate). Here is futures taker re-ranked with Fee Otter's rebate rates:
| Rank | Exchange | Futures taker list fee | Rebate | Net taker |
| 1 | Ourbit | 0.04% | 70% | 0.012% |
| 2 | Gate | 0.05% | 70% | 0.015% |
| 3 | MEXC | 0.04% | 60% | 0.016% |
| 4 | XT.COM | 0.06% | 70% | 0.018% |
| 5 | WEEX | 0.08% | 70% | 0.024% |
| 5 | CoinW | 0.06% | 60% | 0.024% |
| 7 | Pionex | 0.05% | 50% | 0.025% |
| 8 | Binance | 0.05% | 40% | 0.03% |
| 8 | Bitget | 0.06% | 50% | 0.03% |
| 8 | HTX | 0.06% | 50% | 0.03% |
| 11 | Bybit | 0.055% | 40% | 0.033% |
| 12 | OKX | 0.05% | 20% | 0.04% |
List fees from the September 2026 Exchange Fee and Rebate Index.
Two counterintuitive results: WEEX pays the same 70% as Gate, but because its 0.08% list taker fee is high, its net fee ranks 5th. MEXC's rate is 60%, below XT.COM's 70%, yet its 0.04% futures taker puts its net fee ahead of XT.COM, in 3rd. So a "highest rebate" ranking tells you how much is returned; only a net fee ranking tells you the cost. For the full spot and futures ranking by net fee, with monthly cost examples, see the lowest fee crypto exchanges of 2026.
The four at 70%: what are the conditions for each?
- Gate: spot is 65%; the 70% is for futures.
- WEEX: its 0.08% futures taker fee is high, and only after the 70% is returned does it match or beat the major exchanges.
- XT.COM: its 0.2% spot list fee is the highest among the exchanges covered here.
- Ourbit: the code can only be entered at signup. Spot trading has no fee, so the rebate is on futures. Ourbit has no affiliate API, so our team verifies the UID binding manually.
FAQ
Which exchange has the highest fee rebate?
Gate, WEEX, XT.COM and Ourbit are highest, at 70% through Fee Otter. Next are MEXC/KuCoin/CoinW (60%), Bitget/HTX/Pionex (50%), BingX (45%), Binance (40%) and Bybit (40%). OKX is a flat 20% auto-rebate + exclusive rewards.
Does the highest-rebate exchange also charge the highest fees?
No. The five mainstream exchanges' perp taker fees are close (~0.05%–0.06%), MEXC is lower at 0.04% (standard rate) and WEEX higher at 0.08%. All of these gaps are far smaller than the rebate gap, and unrelated to rebate size. What to compare is the net fee (list fee × (1 − rebate)); the highest rebate is not always the lowest cost.
What is the OKX rebate?
OKX is a 20% auto-rebate + exclusive rewards and is listed at 20%; contact support about our exclusive OKX rewards and promotions.
Are these rebate rates fixed?
Through Fee Otter, each exchange has one rate, with no tiers. If a rate changes, the live Fee Otter platform shows the current one. For how payouts work, see how crypto fee rebates are settled.
Can I still earn a rebate if I already have an account?
Yes. At most exchanges a referral code can only be entered at signup and cannot be changed once bound; a few allow adding one within a window after signup (Binance 30 days, MEXC 30 days, Bybit 14 days, Pionex 14 days); past that window, existing users re-bind. The method differs by exchange; see the guides above.
