Yes, you can rebind an existing Bybit account. If it is less than 14 days old and has no referrer, add our affiliate ID 163627 directly in your account. After 14 days, either open a new account with an ID document you haven't used yet, or register a fresh, unverified account through our link and transfer your old KYC to it (allowed 24 hours after KYC is completed, then locked for 180 days). Once you are under code FEEOTTER, your fee rebate is 40% (checked October 2026).
Register or rebind on Bybit with our referral code FEEOTTER and your fee rebate is 40%. The KOL referral codes you commonly find mostly pay 20%, some 25%, so ours pays twice a typical 20% code: on 1,000 USDT of monthly fees, a common code returns 200 USDT and ours returns 400 USDT. Every trade you make incurs a fee; a rebate lowers that cost over time. Already have a Bybit account? This guide first covers adding the code within 14 days of signup, then the three ways to rebind (including the full KYC-transfer conditions), with a rebate-rate table and the register link.
Regional restrictions: Bybit does not accept residents of Hong Kong, mainland China, the EU, the UK, the US, Singapore, Canada, Australia and certain other regions; users in these regions cannot receive rebates (see clause 11 of the Bybit Affiliate Program Terms).
How much is the Bybit fee rebate?
Through Fee Otter, the Bybit fee rebate is 40%, twice a common 20% code.
The common KOL offer is a 20% fee discount; through Fee Otter's rebate data platform, registering with our code gives you a 40% fee rebate, and you can track your available balance live on the site.
Against a common 20% code, that is double. All of Bybit's 40% is Fee Otter's extra rebate.

The table below lists each exchange's rebate rate through Fee Otter, with Bybit highlighted. Live figures are shown on the platform.
When do you need to rebind?
If your Bybit account was not registered under our referral code, the system cannot credit rebates to you. Bybit normally takes the referral code when you create the account; afterwards an affiliate code can only be added within 14 days and if you have no referrer (see the add-later check), and once added it cannot be changed. So to earn rebates as an existing user past that window, you rebind: bind your existing account (or a new one opened with the same KYC) to our code, and the fees you generate from then on start accruing rebates.
Typical situations that call for a rebind:
- You signed up without a code, or with a KOL code that pays only 20% to 25%.
- More than 14 days have passed since signup, or the account already has a referrer, so the official add-later window is closed.
- Your original referrer can no longer be reached and rebates have stopped arriving.
Before you rebind: what to prepare
- Check how old the account is: under 14 days with no referrer, add the code directly; no new account needed.
- Register first, transfer second: for method two, always open a brand-new, unverified account through the dedicated link before moving KYC; the full logic is in KYC identity transfer and rebates.
- Write down both UIDs: note the UID of the old and the new account, since binding and support checks both rely on it. If you are not sure where to find it, see what an exchange UID is and where to find it.
- Plan around the withdrawal pause: after a KYC transfer, withdrawals and fiat on both accounts are limited for 24 hours, so schedule any fund moves first.
- Have your Fee Otter account ready: after the rebind, bind the new UID on the rebate platform so your Bybit rebates start being recorded.
First check: can you still add the code?
Within 14 days of signup: add the affiliate code officially
If your Bybit account is less than 14 days old and has no referrer or affiliate code yet, you can add our affiliate ID 163627 (the form only accepts this numeric ID, not a text code) manually in your account without opening a new one. Path: Profile → Account → Account Info → "Join an Affiliate's Community". Main accounts only, and once added the code cannot be cancelled or changed. See Bybit's official help article, and our step-by-step guide to adding a Bybit referral code.
How existing Bybit users rebind
Past 14 days, or if the account already has a referrer, use these three options in order.
Option 1 (try first)
Bybit lets you pass KYC on three separate accounts using a driver's license, a passport and an ID card. Use one document you haven't used yet to register a new account through the dedicated link, which binds our code, FEEOTTER.
Option 2: move your existing KYC to a new account
If you would rather not redo KYC, move your old account's KYC to a new account opened via our link. Steps:
- First, register a brand-new, unverified account via the Fee Otter dedicated link (do this first; the referral code does not transfer with your KYC).
- At least 24 hours after your old account completed KYC, go to Profile → Identity Verification → Identity Transfer and move the KYC to the new account. See the Bybit official guide.
Note Bybit's rules before you transfer:
- The receiving account must be unverified.
- You can only move the KYC to the new account 24 hours after the old account completed KYC.
- After a successful transfer, you cannot transfer again for 180 days.
- Withdrawals and fiat are restricted on both accounts for 24 hours after the transfer.
- Assets, email, phone and the referral code do not transfer, which is why you must register the new account with our link first.
Once done, the new account is bound to our code and your fees start accruing rebates.
Option 3: after 180 days of inactivity, log in through our link to reactivate
Under clause 7.7 of the Bybit Affiliate Program Terms, an account registered on or after 1 September 2025 becomes an “inactive user” if it trades less than US$1 over 180 consecutive days. When an inactive user opens Bybit through an affiliate link and resumes trading, the referral moves to that affiliate. The Bybit Affiliate FAQ also states that the original referral relationship may be terminated after 180 consecutive days without a trade.
- Make sure the account has not traded for 180 consecutive days (any trade of US$1 or more restarts the count).
- Open Bybit through the Fee Otter dedicated link, log in, and then resume trading.
- Bind this UID on the rebate dashboard. Once it is approved, the account has moved to Fee Otter; if it is not approved, contact support to check the referral.
This option needs no new account and no KYC transfer, but you have to wait out the 180 days, so it comes after Options 1 and 2.
How is the Bybit rebate calculated? (a reproducible example)
Formula: rebate = your monthly fees × the rebate rate (40%).
First, the fee. Using Bybit's 0.055% perp taker rate with 2,500 USDT margin at 20x leverage, the notional is 50,000 USDT and the one-side fee is 50,000 × 0.055% = 27.5 USDT (see the complete fee-rebate guide).
Then the rebate. Say you accumulate 100 USDT of Bybit fees in a month: rebate = 100 × 40% = 40 USDT.
Why bind Bybit through Fee Otter?
- A 40% rebate, twice the common 20% KOL discount.
- Once bound, track your available balance on the rebate platform (Fee Otter) and request withdrawals (USDT).
- It doesn't change your trading price or fee rate; a rebate is an after-the-fact offset.
How much more do you get after rebinding?
At a futures taker fee of 0.055% (Bybit official fee structure) and 2,000,000 USDT of monthly volume, you pay 1,100 USDT in fees a month. Here is what each option returns:
| Option | Rebate rate | Monthly rebate | vs a typical 20% code |
|---|
| Typical KOL code | 20% | 220 USDT | 1× |
| Some KOL codes | 25% | 275 USDT | 1.25× |
| Our code (Fee Otter) | 40% | 440 USDT | 2× |
Rebate rates verified on 2026-10-07 (combined rates when bound through Fee Otter; the live platform display prevails) · Methodology
Over a year you collect 2,640 USDT more than with a typical 20% code (220 USDT more per month × 12).
If you are already a VIP on an exchange and want to rebind or register on another exchange, contact support. We can help you apply for special trading benefits or a higher rebate rate.
On the same 1,100 USDT of monthly fees, our code returns 440 USDT while a typical 20% code returns 220 USDT. Traders who enter and exit many times a day rack up fees fastest; see how much day traders save with a fee rebate. If your monthly volume runs into eight figures, read the fee rebate playbook for high-volume traders.
How to confirm the rebind worked
- Log in to the Bybit account bound to our code and copy its UID from your profile page.
- On the rebate platform (Fee Otter), choose Bybit, paste the UID and submit.
- Once your next trade generates a fee, the rebate record appears on the rebate platform, usually after the exchange's daily report is imported (T+1).
- If nothing shows up after two days, send the UID to support and we will help confirm whether the rebind worked.
Common mistakes
- Transferring KYC before opening the new account: the referral code does not travel with KYC, so if you reverse the order the new account is not bound to us.
- Using a receiving account that is already verified: KYC can only move to an unverified account, so do not verify the new account yourself.
- Looking for the add-later entry after 14 days: the official window lasts 14 days; after that, use method one or two.
- Forgetting to bind the UID: finishing the exchange side but never binding the new UID on the rebate platform, so no rebates are recorded.
Add-later windows and official rebind channels differ a lot between exchanges; compare them side by side in the referral-code and rebind rules for each exchange.
Bybit compared with other exchanges
Ready to act? If you do not have an account yet, follow the Bybit registration guide and sign up through our link. To check where the code goes and what it is worth, read the Bybit referral code guide; for how the rebate is calculated and what it pays per month, see the Bybit fee rebate guide. After the rebind, bind your UID on the rebate platform and your next trade starts earning. You rebind once, and every fee after that earns 40% back.
FAQ
What is the Bybit fee rebate?
40%, all of it Fee Otter's extra rebate.
Can I add a Bybit referral code after signing up?
Within 14 days of signup, yes. Per Bybit's official help article, a main account with no existing referrer can add an affiliate code manually within 14 days of registering (see the add-later check); once added it cannot be cancelled or changed. If your account is older than 14 days, use the rebind methods above instead.
I already have a Bybit account. Can I rebind and still earn rebates?
Yes. The recommended options are Option 1 (open a new account with another unused document, such as a license, passport or ID card, via the dedicated link) and Option 2 (open a new account, then move your existing KYC over per Bybit's official steps). If the account has been inactive for 180 days, Option 3 also works: log in through our link to reactivate it.
What are the limits on transferring KYC?
Four main ones: the receiving account must be unverified; transfer is only available 24 hours after KYC completion; after a successful transfer you cannot transfer again for 180 days; and withdrawals and fiat are restricted on both accounts for 24 hours afterwards.
Do my assets and referral code move with the KYC transfer?
No. Identity transfer moves only your KYC; assets, email, phone and the referral code stay behind. That is why you must register the new account with our link first, then transfer the KYC, so rebates are credited to you.
How many accounts can one person open on Bybit?
Bybit lets you pass KYC on three separate accounts using a driver's license, a passport and an ID card, so one person can verify up to three accounts with those three documents.
Is a fee discount the same as a fee rebate?
No. A fee-discount coupon is Bybit's own new-user promo. It usually has an expiry and must be claimed under Assets → Coupons. A fee rebate is us returning 40% of your fees, which accrues and can be paid out on request.
How does Bybit's rebate compare with common referral codes?
Common codes mostly pay 20%. Through Fee Otter the Bybit rebate is 40%, settled in full by Fee Otter; you track it and request withdrawals on the rebate site. To compare rates across exchanges, see the rate table above.
After rebinding, when do rebates start?
Once you are bound to our code, the fees you generate afterwards start accruing rebates, which you can track on the rebate platform (Fee Otter).
Bybit rebate rates and rebind/KYC rules follow Bybit's official and platform announcements.
