An XT.COM referral code can only be entered at signup; it can't be added to an existing account. To rebind, register a new account with a phone number or email never used on XT.COM, using code FEEOTTER. No KYC is needed. Once the new account is bound to the rebate platform (Fee Otter), you get 70% of your futures fees back (60% automatic from XT.COM plus 10% extra from Fee Otter) and 45% on spot (checked October 2026).
- 70% fee rebate: when bound through Fee Otter, a 60% automatic rebate from XT.COM plus a 10% extra from Fee Otter.
- One dashboard: once bound, track every rebate and your available balance on the rebate platform (Fee Otter), and request withdrawals.
- Referral code FEEOTTER: dedicated registration link (the code is pre-filled).
Most XT.COM codes in circulation pass on only about 20%; through Fee Otter you get 70%, and every rebate shows up on the data platform.
Formula: rebate = your monthly fees × the rebate rate (70% on XT.COM).
Example: using XT.COM's listed 0.06% perp taker rate with 2,500 USDT margin at 20x leverage, the notional is 50,000 USDT and the one-side fee is 50,000 × 0.06% = 30 USDT. At 70%, the rebate = 30 × 70% = 21 USDT (a 60% automatic rebate plus 10% added by Fee Otter; see the complete fee-rebate guide).
XT.COM's listed perp rates are maker 0.04% / taker 0.06%; spot is 0.2% for both maker and taker, which is high. Weigh rate and rebate together, since a high rebate is what brings the real cost down; see the exchange fee and rebate comparison.
The table below compares the rebate rate for each exchange. Live figures are shown on the platform.
When do you need to rebind?
XT.COM only lets you enter a referral code at signup; it can't be added afterwards. If your XT.COM account wasn't registered under our code, the system can't credit rebates to you, so you need to rebind under our code.
Any of these three situations means your current XT.COM account can't earn Fee Otter's rebate, and you need to rebind:
- You left the referral code blank at signup: the field is optional, so nothing stops you, but it can't be added once the account exists.
- You used someone else's code: a KOL's or friend's code usually passes on only 20%, and a referrer is free to set the kickback to 0%.
- You want a higher rate: on the same fee, our 70% pays 3.5 times what a common 20% code does.
If any of these applies, rebinding is worth it: compared with a common 20% code, you get back an extra 50 percentage points of every fee, and it doesn't change your prices or fee rates on XT.COM.
What to prepare before rebinding (ready in 5 minutes)
An XT.COM rebind needs no KYC, so there's little to prepare, but missing one item can hold you up:
- A phone number or email never used on XT.COM: the rebind is simply a new account registered with it.
- Our dedicated signup link: it fills in our code, FEEOTTER, for you.
- Login and security verification for the old account: you'll withdraw your funds from it, so make sure you can still sign in and pass verification.
- The new account's deposit address and network: USDT runs on TRC20, ERC20, BSC and more; use the same network on both sides, because funds sent on the wrong one are usually lost.

Recommended: simply register a new account
Register again with a phone number or email that has never been used on XT.COM via the dedicated link, check that the referral field shows FEEOTTER, then bind the new account's UID on the rebate platform. XT.COM needs no KYC for normal trading, deposits and withdrawals; unverified accounts can withdraw up to 200,000 USDT a day (per XT.COM's official Withdrawal Limit Guide), while fiat and P2P require KYC (see the official guide).
What about the funds in the old account?
The old account can still withdraw as usual, so move the funds to the new account, then do all your trading there so the rebate is credited to you. The withdrawal limit is per account per day, so a large move just takes a few days. Withdrawal fees and minimums for each network are in XT.COM deposits and withdrawals.
How much do you get after rebinding? A worked example
Start with the fees themselves. XT.COM's listed rates for regular users (VIP 0), and the net taker after the rebate (net rate = taker × (1 − rebate rate)):
| Market | Maker | Taker | Taker after a common 20% code | Taker via Fee Otter |
| USDT-M futures | 0.04% | 0.06% | 0.048% | 0.018% (70% rebate) |
| Spot | 0.20% | 0.20% | 0.16% | 0.11% (45% rebate) |

Once you've rebound and linked the new UID, 70% of your fees come back:
| Monthly fees | Common 20% code | Fee Otter (70%) | Extra per month |
| 100 USDT | 20 | 70 | 50 |
| 500 USDT | 100 | 350 | 250 |
| 1,000 USDT | 200 | 700 | 500 |
| 5,000 USDT | 1,000 | 3,500 | 2,500 |
A worked example: say you trade 1,000,000 USDT of futures a month on XT.COM, all as taker. Fees = 1,000,000 × 0.06% = 600 USDT. A common 20% code returns 120 USDT; after rebinding through Fee Otter you get 420 USDT, an extra 3,600 USDT a year. How the rebate is calculated and credited is in how the fee rebate is settled.
On 600 USDT of monthly fees, a common 20% code returns 1,440 USDT a year, while ours returns 5,040 USDT, 3.5 times as much.

How do you confirm the rebind worked?
Go through these three checkpoints in order:
- Before submitting the signup form: check that the referral field shows FEEOTTER. It can't be changed after you submit.
- When binding the UID: on the Fee Otter rebate platform, pick XT.COM and paste the new account's UID (a string of digits, not a nickname or email); if you can't find it, see what an exchange UID is and where to find it.
- After your first trade: once the new account pays fees, rebate records start appearing on the platform; exchange reports take a little time to import, and the timing is explained in how the fee rebate is settled.
Once all three checks pass, every trade on the new account counts toward your rebate.
The five most common rebind mistakes
- Registering with the old phone number or email: a rebind needs a phone number or email never used on XT.COM.
- Submitting without checking the referral field: it can't be changed after you submit.
- Binding the old account's UID: the old account isn't under our code, so binding it earns nothing.
- Carrying on trading in the old account: only the new account's fees earn the rebate, so once the funds move, your trading has to move too.
- Trying to move a large balance in one day: withdrawal limits apply per account per day, so spread a big move over a few days.
XT.COM's rebate is 70%, the same as Gate, WEEX and Ourbit, but its 0.2% spot fee is high. If you mainly trade futures and want the lowest net rate, staying on XT.COM makes sense; for head-to-head numbers see the WEEX vs XT.COM fee rebate comparison and the MEXC vs XT.COM fee rebate comparison, and every exchange's late-entry and rebind rules are in the exchange rebind rules table.
Ready? Register again through our dedicated link (code FEEOTTER), then bind the new account's UID on the rebate platform; the code itself is covered in XT.COM referral code.
FAQ
No. XT.COM only lets you enter a code at signup; it can't be added or changed afterwards. If you already have an account, use the rebind method above (simply register a new account).
70% when bound through Fee Otter: a 60% automatic rebate from XT.COM plus a 10% extra from Fee Otter.
Do I need KYC to rebind?
No. An unverified XT.COM account trades, deposits and withdraws normally, up to 200,000 USDT a day (per XT.COM's official Withdrawal Limit Guide). Fiat and P2P require KYC; complete KYC on the new account if you need those or a higher limit.
Our XT.COM code is FEEOTTER, all uppercase. The dedicated link fills it in for you, so registering via the link avoids case mistakes.
Yes. Register again with a phone number or email never used on XT.COM via the dedicated link, check that the referral field shows FEEOTTER, and bind the new UID on the rebate platform.
Most codes pass on only about 20%; through Fee Otter it is 70%, and every rebate is visible on one dashboard, with withdrawals on request.
After rebinding, when do rebates start?
Once you are bound through Fee Otter, the fees you generate afterwards start accruing rebates, which you can track on the rebate platform (Fee Otter); see how the rebate is settled.
After rebinding, how do I move funds out of the old account?
Withdraw from the old account to the new account's deposit address. The old account can still withdraw as normal; limits apply per account per day, so split a large move over several days and make sure both sides use the same network.
