Sign up to BingX with referral code FEEOTTER and the fee rebate is 45%, all of it refunded automatically by BingX, which is 2.25× a typical 20% code. On 1,000 USDT of monthly fees, a common code returns 200 USDT and FEEOTTER returns 450 USDT, and the net futures taker rate drops from 0.05% to 0.0275% (checked October 2026).
BingX is best known for copy trading and grid bots. Its perpetual futures list at 0.02% maker and 0.05% taker, and spot at 0.10%, the same level as Binance and Gate. When fees are that close, the rebate rate is what decides your long-run cost. This guide covers the fees, how the rebate is structured and five volume scenarios.
Quick verdict
- Rebate 45%: all of it refunded automatically by BingX once you sign up with our code FEEOTTER.
- More than double a common code: most referral codes pass back only 20% (some 25%); ours at 45% is 2.25× a 20% code.
- On 1,000 USDT of monthly fees, a common 20% code returns 200 USDT; ours returns 450 USDT.
- Futures taker net rate after rebate: 0.05% × (1 − 45%) = 0.0275%, versus 0.04% with a common 20% code.

Futures rates are in the BingX perpetual futures fee schedule and spot rates in BingX's spot fee explainer. The table shows the public standard (VIP 0) rates; VIP users get lower rates, so check what your account shows.
Two things to note:
- Futures taker is 2.5× maker (0.05 ÷ 0.02). Most people enter and exit with market orders, so taker fees make up the bulk of the bill, and the examples below focus on taker.
- A fee rebate is a percentage of the fee. BingX's fees are neither especially low nor high, so the rebate rate directly sets your real cost.
How the BingX rebate works: 45%, all refunded by the exchange
BingX charges first and refunds later: you pay the full fee when you trade, and the rebate comes back afterwards. With our code there is one layer:
| Layer | How it is paid | Rate | Condition |
| Automatic rebate | Refunded by BingX to your account | 45% | Sign up with our referral code FEEOTTER |
The 45% is the automatic rebate set for our code on BingX under the partnership terms between Fee Otter and BingX, and may change if those terms change. For settlement, see how fee rebates are settled; for how an automatic rebate differs from the extra rebate on other exchanges, see automatic vs extra rebate.
You can confirm the rebate at sign-up. When the referral field on BingX's sign-up page holds our code FEEOTTER, the rebate rate you get appears below it.
Rebate rate compared with common codes
Fee Otter has one rate per exchange, and for BingX it is 45%; see how fee rebates are settled. Live rates:
BingX's 45% is more than twice a common 20% referral code. Against typical codes:
| Channel | Rebate rate | vs a common 20% code | Back on 1,000 USDT of monthly fees |
| Common 20% code | 20% | 1× | 200 USDT |
| Common 25% code | 25% | 1.25× | 250 USDT |
| Fee Otter | 45% | 2.25× | 450 USDT |
Effective fees after rebate
There is one formula: net rate = list rate × (1 − rebate rate).
| Channel | Futures taker 0.05% | Futures maker 0.02% | Spot 0.10% |
| Common 20% code | 0.04% | 0.016% | 0.08% |
| Fee Otter (45%) | 0.0275% | 0.011% | 0.055% |
For the same BingX futures taker trade, a common 20% code leaves you paying 4 USDT per 10,000 USDT traded; with Fee Otter you pay 2.75 USDT.
Against other exchanges, using a blended rate of 70% taker and 30% maker (for BingX, 0.7 × 0.05% + 0.3 × 0.02% = 0.041%), here is each exchange's effective rate after the Fee Otter rebate:
| Exchange | Blended list rate | Rebate rate | Effective rate after rebate |
| Gate | 0.041% | 70% | 0.0123% |
| MEXC | 0.031% | 60% | 0.0124% |
| BingX | 0.041% | 45% | 0.0226% |
| Bitget | 0.048% | 50% | 0.0240% |
| Binance | 0.041% | 40% | 0.0246% |
| Bybit | 0.0445% | 40% | 0.0267% |
BingX's effective rate is lower than Bitget, Binance and Bybit, and higher than Gate (the thickest rebate) and MEXC (the lowest list fees). OKX is a 20% auto-rebate + exclusive rewards (ask support about our exclusive OKX rewards and promotions), so it is left out of the table. One 20× leveraged futures trade: the real difference
If monthly volume feels abstract, look at a single trade. Say you open a 20× position with 2,500 USDT of margin, a 50,000 USDT notional, entering and exiting with market orders: each side costs 50,000 × 0.05% = 25 USDT, or 50 USDT for the round trip.
- Common 20% code: 10 USDT back, 50 × 80% = 40 USDT net, 1.6% of margin (40 ÷ 2,500).
- Fee Otter (45%): 22.5 USDT back, 50 × 55% = 27.5 USDT net, 1.1% of margin.
High leverage magnifies fees as a share of your capital, along with profit and loss. On the same trade, a common code means you must first make 1.6% on margin just to cover fees, while with Fee Otter you need only 1.1%. For short-term traders who go in and out several times a day, that gap shows up directly in the win rate they need.
How much comes back? Five volume scenarios
Using a blended futures rate of 0.041% (70% taker, 30% maker): monthly fees = monthly volume × 0.041%, rebate = monthly fees × rebate rate.
| Monthly volume | Monthly fees | Common 20% code | Fee Otter at 45% |
| 100,000 USDT | 41 USDT | 8.2 | 18.45 |
| 500,000 USDT | 205 USDT | 41 | 92.25 |
| 2 million USDT | 820 USDT | 164 | 369 |
| 5 million USDT | 2,050 USDT | 410 | 922.5 |
| 10 million USDT | 4,100 USDT | 820 | 1,845 |
At 500,000 USDT of monthly futures volume, a common 20% code returns 492 USDT a year, while Fee Otter returns 1,107 USDT, 615 USDT more. The gap scales with volume: at 2 million USDT a month, you get 2,460 USDT a year more than with a common code (820 × 25% × 12).
You can run the numbers yourself: monthly fees × (your rebate rate − 20%) × 12 is how much more you get per year than with a common code. For more worked examples, see effective perpetual fee after rebate; high-frequency grid traders can also read fee rebates for grid and arbitrage traders.
Who benefits most from a BingX rebate?
- Copy traders: BingX is known for copy trading, and following others in and out of positions builds up fees faster than trading on your own, which magnifies the gap in rebate rates.
- Grid bot users: grids earn from many small fills, and every grid's profit is net of fees; a rebate lowers the net cost of each fill and makes tighter grid spacing workable.
- Short-term futures traders: mostly taker orders and hundreds of thousands of USDT in monthly volume, so the yearly gain over a common code runs into thousands of USDT.
