Bitget Fee Rebate 2026: 50% Back Through Fee Otter

Bitget fee rebate through Fee Otter with code FEEOTTER: 50% on futures, 2.5x a common 20% code. VIP0 rates, worked examples, binding and rebinding.

Bitget's futures fee rebate through Fee Otter is 50%: 20% returned automatically by the exchange plus a 30% extra rebate from Fee Otter, with the code FEEOTTER. That's 2.5x a common 20% code: on 1,000 USDT of monthly fees, a 20% code returns 200 USDT and FEEOTTER returns 500 USDT (checked October 2026).

What is a Bitget fee rebate? (charged first, returned later)

Bitget charges first and returns later: you pay the full fee at the moment of the trade, and the rebate comes back afterwards. The rate you see on the order ticket does not get cheaper; the savings arrive after the fact. That is the single most common misunderstanding.

The rebate has two layers, and they come from completely different places:

LayerWho pays itRateRequirement
Layer 1: auto rebateBitget20%Sign up with referral code
Layer 2: extra rebateThe rebate site (Fee Otter)30%Bind your UID on the rebate site

Layer 1 is not automatic just because you used a code. The referrer decides how much of it to pass on to you, and setting it to 0% is perfectly legitimate, and plenty of YouTuber and KOL codes are configured exactly that way: you still pay the full fee, and the entire 20% becomes their commission. Sign up with Fee Otter's code and the exchange pays that 20% back to you automatically. Layer 2 is a separate thing: the rebate site takes the commission it receives from the exchange and passes part of it back to you. Most KOLs keep this layer too. For how that layer works and why it can exceed 20%, see Auto rebate vs extra rebate and Why you can get more than a 20% rebate.

Bitget Referral code FEEOTTER
This is a real screenshot of our Bitget referral code in our affiliate dashboard. Plenty of codes that advertise high rebates come without a single screenshot, and people only find out after signing up that no rebate arrives. We put up each exchange's signup page or dashboard so you can check before you register.

First, know what you are paying: Bitget's list fees

A rebate is a percentage of the fee, not of the notional you trade. So to work out what you save, you first need to know what you pay. Bitget's list rates for regular users (VIP 0):

ProductMakerTakerWith BGB deduction
Spot0.10%0.10%0.08% (20% off)
USDT-M futures0.02%0.06%Not applicable

Three things people trip over:

  • The futures taker fee is 3× the maker fee. Every market order is a taker order. At the same notional, someone who works limit orders can pay a third of what a market-order trader pays. That is a bigger multiple than on most exchanges, so posting limit orders is unusually worthwhile on Bitget.
  • BGB deduction only applies to spot (and margin). Paying spot or margin fees in BGB gets you 20% off (see Bitget's BGB deduction guide), but futures, CFD and on-chain products are excluded. Note that BGB discounts the fee first, and the rebate is then calculated on the discounted amount.
  • VIP tiers are separate. Hitting a 30-day volume or BGB-holding threshold lowers your rates independently of the rebate; the two do not interfere.

These are not our estimates. We receive Bitget's commission detail daily, and the per-trade USDT-M futures fee lands at exactly 0.06% of notional for takers and 0.02% for makers. The full fee is charged, and the rebate arrives separately afterwards. That is what "charged first, returned later" looks like in the raw data.

The table above reflects VIP 0 list pricing as of September 2026 and Bitget may change it; for current rates see the official Bitget fee page.

What does that actually save you? Five worked examples

You do not need to be a big trader for our code to be worth using. Any other referral code gives you at most Layer 1, the 20%. Through Fee Otter it is 50%. Same trades, same fees, 2.5 times as much back.

ChannelCombined Bitget rebateRelative
A typical referral code / KOL20%baseline
Fee Otter50%2.5×

Here is what comes back at five levels of monthly fees:

Monthly feesCombined rateReturned that monthEquivalent futures notional
100 USDT50%50 USDT~170,000 USDT
500 USDT50%250 USDT~830,000 USDT
1,000 USDT50%500 USDT~1.67m USDT
2,500 USDT50%1,250 USDT~4.17m USDT
5,000 USDT50%2,500 USDT~8.33m USDT

The notional column is back-solved from the 0.06% futures taker rate. If you post limit orders (0.02% maker), the same fee total needs 3× the notional. Spot (0.1%) needs about 60% of the futures-taker notional to generate the same fees.

Bitget registration steps and how to bind your UID

New users, follow this order. If you already have a Bitget account, skip to the rebinding section below.

Step 1: register with the referral code

Register through the link on this site; the referral code field is filled in for you. This step decides your Layer 1 20% auto rebate, and Bitget publishes no way to add or change it after the account is open. If it is wrong, rebinding is your only route.

Step 2: complete KYC

Accounts without KYC are feature-limited and cannot generate a calculable rebate. Have your ID ready for document and face verification; it usually takes minutes to a day.

Step 3: find your Bitget UID

Log in, click your avatar in the top right; the UID is a plain string of digits shown under your account name. It is the only thing binding requires: no API key, no password.

Step 4: bind the UID on the rebate site

Go to the Fee Otter rebate dashboard, choose Bitget, paste the UID and submit. We reconcile it against the invitee list the exchange reports to us, and it goes live once matched.

Step 5: trade, then check the books

From then on your daily fees and rebates post automatically, are visible in the dashboard in near-real time, and you can request a withdrawal of your available balance at any time.

When does the rebate arrive?

How long is the "later" in "charged first, returned later"? The actual timeline:

Point in timeWhat happens
At the tradeBitget charges the full fee
Around T+1The exchange produces the previous day's commission detail
After it landsWe import it, match each row to your UID, compute the rebate
After postingYour available balance on the rebate site increases; visible, with withdrawals on request

That path describes the Layer 2 extra rebate. The Layer 1 20% travels through Bitget's own plumbing and follows different rules:

ItemBitget's official 20% (Layer 1)Fee Otter extra rebate (Layer 2)
Settlement currencyFollows the fee currency: USDT-M futures are charged in USDT, so the rebate is USDTDenominated in USDT
Where it landsYour Bitget account, no application neededYour Fee Otter available balance
How it is paidDistributed automatically by BitgetAround T+1, after the exchange's daily report
Where to checkBitget account statement / transaction historyThe rebate dashboard, row by row

The exact schedule, currency and mechanics of Layer 1 are set by the exchange; see the official Bitget fee and rebate documentation. Two details that catch people out:

  • Only trades that actually generate a fee count. A trade with no fee produces no rebate and no volume credit.
  • The two amounts live in different places. The official 20% goes to your Bitget account; the extra rebate goes to your available balance on the rebate site. If one looks missing, check which side you are looking at.

Already have a Bitget account? Rebind to claim rebates

Bitget publishes no way to add a referral code after signup, so enter it at signup. After the account exists it generally cannot be added and the referrer cannot be changed, and Bitget publishes no support route for changing it either. Existing users have to "rebind" the account to Fee Otter's code. Bitget has its own routes, including the post-closure cooling-off period and same-day rebinding for China-KYC accounts; for the full conditions, steps and risks see the Bitget rebinding guide.

Four mistakes people make

  • Expecting the order-ticket fee to drop. It does not. Charged first, returned later; the displayed rate is unchanged.
  • Skipping the code at signup, assuming it can be added later. Bitget publishes no way to do that, so in practice it cannot. The Bitget exchange generally fixes the referral relationship at registration. (Bitget Wallet is a separate product with different rules; do not confuse the two.)
  • Binding the wrong UID. The UID is a numeric account ID, not a nickname or an email. Sub-account commission rolls up to the master account's UID, so binding the master account is enough.
  • Treating the two layers as one payment. The official 20% goes to the exchange account, the extra rebate to your available balance on the rebate site. Check them separately.

How is this different from a KOL or another rebate site?

What you usually see advertised is a "20% fee discount": that is Layer 1, the auto rebate. But whether you get that 20% at all is the referrer's setting, and many codes simply have it switched off, so every cent of your fee becomes their commission. Four things separate the offers:

  • Whether Layer 1 actually reaches you. With Fee Otter's code that 20% always lands in your account. Some codes are set to 0% and you get nothing.
  • Whether Layer 2 is shared. We share it, at the published rate in the table above.
  • Whether the books are auditable. Every fee and every rebate is listed row by row, not as a single number at month end.
  • Whether you actually get paid. You can request a withdrawal of your available balance at any time, with no minimum-threshold lockup.

How Bitget compares

Risks to know before using Bitget

Bitget's futures and copy-trading features are well built, but know these risks before you deposit:

  • Registration and regulation: Bitget is registered in Seychelles (CoinGecko) and holds registrations or licences in some countries, but its regulatory status differs by region. In February 2025 Japan's FSA asked Apple and Google to remove the Bitget app because it is not registered in Japan (The Block). Check that your region is supported before signing up.
  • September 2026 security incident: on 24 September 2026 Bitget's hot wallets were breached; the loss is estimated at about US$350–390 million (Bitget is still updating the figure), with North Korean hackers the suspected culprits (CNBC). Bitget says its 5,500 BTC Protection Fund covers the loss; withdrawals were paused and, per its official notice, resume in phases from 28 September.
  • Keep only active trading funds there: an exchange is for money you are actively trading; withdraw idle funds and anything you hold long term.
  • Use a cold wallet for long-term holdings: move large, long-term assets to a hardware cold wallet (such as a Ledger) and keep them offline.
  • Futures and high leverage are high risk: leverage magnifies gains and losses alike. Beginners should avoid high leverage and learn the rules with small amounts first.

FAQ

What is the Bitget rebate rate?

Through Fee Otter it is 50% on futures (20% auto + 30% extra).

When is the Bitget rebate paid?

The official 20% is returned directly to your exchange account by Bitget. The extra rebate is imported, matched and posted to your available balance on the rebate site after the exchange's daily report, typically from T+1 onwards.

Is this safe? Can you touch my assets?

Binding needs only your UID: no API key, no password, no withdrawal permission. Your assets stay in your own Bitget account the whole time; the rebate site neither custodies nor can move them.

I signed up without a code. Can I still get rebates?

Yes, but through rebinding; Bitget publishes no way to add the code afterwards. See the rebinding guide.

Can a Bitget referral code be added or changed later?

Not at present. The Bitget exchange publishes no way to add a code or swap the referrer after the account is open, and in practice support will not change it. Articles claiming you can backfill a code "within 7 days" are describing Bitget Wallet (its official rule: within 7 days of Wallet signup, if no other code was used; see Bitget Wallet help), a different product; do not mix up the two rule sets.

Does BGB deduction reduce my rebate?

The absolute amount falls, because the rebate is calculated on the discounted fee. Your total cost is still lower: 20% off first, then half of the remainder back, beats no discount at all. Note BGB deduction applies to spot (and margin) only.

Is the rebate rate the same for spot and futures?

Not quite: Bitget is 50% on futures and 45% on spot. The underlying fee rates also differ a lot (spot 0.1%, futures taker 0.06%), so the same notional generates different rebate amounts.

How is the rebate calculated?

On the fees you actually pay: 20% comes back automatically from Bitget and 30% extra from Fee Otter. See how the fee rebate is settled.

Can high-volume traders get a higher rate?

Contact support. If you trade large volume, or you are already a VIP on an exchange, we can help you apply for special trading benefits or a higher rebate rate.

Is there a withdrawal minimum?

There is no lockup. Your available balance accrues on the rebate site, and you can request a withdrawal whenever you like.

Do sub-account fees count?

Yes. Sub-account trading commission is attributed to the master account's UID; that is how the exchange's commission report is structured. Bind the master account UID and everything your sub-accounts generate is included, with no separate binding needed.

How is this different from a normal KOL code?

On two levels. Layer 1 is the 20% returned directly by the exchange. With Fee Otter's code that 20% always reaches your account. Layer 2 is the extra rebate, which most KOLs do not share at all; through Fee Otter it is shared at a published rate, auditable row by row and paid out on request.

ⓘ Rates shown are for futures; spot: Bitget 45%, WEEX 45%.
