Terms of Service

Effective date: 2026-10-13

This document is a translation; where versions differ, the Traditional Chinese version prevails.

1. General terms and acceptance

Welcome to Fee Otter (the “Platform”, “we” or “us”). These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of feeotter.com, the rebate dashboard, member area, tools and articles, and all services we provide, including exchange rebate referrals (together, the “Services”).

By browsing the site, registering or logging in, submitting an exchange UID, signing up on an exchange through our referral code or link or requesting a rebate withdrawal, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and any rules we publish for specific services, such as rebate rates or withdrawal rules (the “Supplementary Rules”). Supplementary Rules form part of these Terms and prevail where they conflict.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, stop using the Services immediately.

These Terms are presented and accepted electronically and have the same effect as a written agreement. Where these Terms exist in several languages, the Traditional Chinese version prevails.

2. Definitions

  • Exchange: a third-party crypto-asset trading platform listed by us whose referral or affiliate programme we work with, such as Binance, OKX, Bybit, Gate, Bitget, MEXC, Pionex, WEEX, XT.COM, HTX and Ourbit.
  • Referral code / referral link: the code or link used to create a referral relationship when you register on an exchange.
  • Rebate: the part of the trading fees you pay that the exchange returns to you automatically under its referral or affiliate programme, plus the extra amount we settle to you under these Terms and the Supplementary Rules.
  • Rebate dashboard: our member area showing your bound UIDs, fees, rebates, tier and withdrawals.
  • Available balance: the figure shown on the rebate dashboard is rebate we have not yet paid you under these Terms. It is an amount we owe you, denominated in USDT — not a crypto-asset you have deposited with us or asked us to hold. We do not hold, manage or custody crypto-assets for you.

3. The Services

We provide the following, as published on the site from time to time:

  • Exchange rebate referrals: referral codes and links, extra rebates settled at our published rates once you bind your UID, the rebate dashboard and withdrawal requests.
  • Information and tools: guides, exchange comparisons, the monthly fee & rebate index, exchange fact sheets, calculators and funding-rate comparisons.
  • Referrer / partner programme, under separately published rules.

We may add, change, suspend or end any service, supported exchange, rebate rate or feature at any time by notice on the site.

4. What we are and what we do not do

  • We are not an exchange. We do not buy, sell, exchange, match, hold, custody or transfer virtual assets for you. Your assets sit in the exchange account you choose and are held under that exchange’s rules.
  • We do not trade on your behalf or manage your account or assets, and we never ask for your exchange password, verification codes, withdrawal permissions or trading-enabled API keys.
  • We are not a licensed investment adviser, futures adviser or other regulated financial-services provider. Our content, data and tools are general information only and are not investment, legal, tax or financial advice or a personal recommendation.
  • When we pay you a rebate we are settling a debt we owe you under these Terms, not providing you with a transfer, exchange or custody service for crypto-assets. We do not accept deposits from you and do not hold assets on your behalf.
  • We and each exchange are independent legal entities. Apart from our referral or affiliate cooperation, we do not represent any exchange and are not responsible for its operations, solvency, services, rules or conduct.

5. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old and have full legal capacity where you live.
  • Your country or region must permit your use of the Services and the relevant exchanges. You must check and comply with local law and exchange restrictions, and must not use us to get around an exchange’s regional restrictions.
  • You must not be, or act for, any person or entity on a sanctions list.
  • You must also comply with each exchange’s user agreement and referral programme rules.

6. Accounts and security

  • You may log in with a Google account or an email verification code. Provide accurate information and keep your login method safe; do not lend, transfer or share your account.
  • Anything done through your account is presumed to be done by you. Contact support immediately if you notice unauthorised use.
  • Our staff will never ask for your password, verification codes, private keys, seed phrases or withdrawal permissions. Anyone who does so in our name is a scammer; we are not responsible for losses if you provide them.

7. Rebate service

(a) Referral relationship and binding

  • The referral relationship is set by the code you enter when registering on the exchange and is governed by that exchange’s rules; it usually cannot be changed afterwards. Whether a code can be added later or rebound depends on the exchange; our rebind information is for reference only.
  • You must submit a UID that you own and that was registered with our referral code. We refresh the previous day’s data at around 16:00 UTC+8 (08:00 UTC) each day; a UID with fees on the previous day may be approved automatically. We may switch to manual review, ask for more information or refuse a binding.

(b) Rates and calculation

  • Rebates follow the rate we publish for each exchange at the time. We may change rates and calculation methods with effect from publication, without affecting rebates already settled.
  • Our rebates are based on the referral share the exchange actually pays us. If an exchange delays, reduces, claws back or recalculates payment, or ends its programme, we may delay, adjust, suspend or claw back the related rebates.
  • If an exchange detects suspicious or prohibited activity and claws back, reduces or withholds a referral share it had credited, we have the same right to claw back the rebates we paid you from that share, because our rebates come from it. Suspicious or prohibited activity includes, without limitation: self-referral or referrals between multiple accounts you control; wash trading, volume inflation or other artificially generated volume; abuse of bonuses, trial funds or campaign rewards; exploiting system bugs or erroneous prices; using another person’s identity, account or payment method; taking part in an exchange’s institutional, market-maker or other programme that pays no referral share; being resident in a country or region the exchange does not allow referrals from (for example, Bybit does not accept residents of Hong Kong, mainland China, the EU, the UK, the US, Singapore, Canada, Australia and certain other regions); and any other conduct the exchange treats as abnormal under its terms. We may claw back by deducting from your available balance, offsetting against future rebates, or asking you to repay within a reasonable period; you agree to repay any amount your balance does not cover. Where practicable, we will tell you the reason the exchange gave.
  • Rebate amounts follow our records calculated from exchange reports. If you dispute an amount, contact support with supporting information within 30 days of settlement and we will help check it.
  • OKX is published as a 20% auto-rebate; any additional rewards or promotions are granted at our discretion and may be changed or withdrawn at any time.

(c) Settlement and withdrawal

  • Extra rebates settle daily to the rebate dashboard and are paid out on request under the withdrawal rules. Payouts are made on-chain in USDT on BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) to a receiving address that you own and have bound with us (an address must first be added to your account and, except for your first address, becomes usable after a cooling period; we notify you by email with a link to freeze withdrawals; an address cannot be shared with another account). Minimums, fees, the limit on concurrent requests and processing times are as shown in the member area at the time.
  • You may only request a withdrawal for yourself, and the receiving account or address must be your own. We do not accept requests to pay a third party, to pass a rebate on to someone else, or to send a rebate to an account unconnected with you.
  • You must make sure the withdrawal address and network are correct. If the address is an exchange deposit address, you must confirm that the exchange accepts USDT deposits on the BSC (BEP20) network and that the amount is not below its minimum deposit. We are not liable to return assets lost or not credited because of information you provided or because the amount was below the recipient's minimum deposit; blockchain transactions cannot be reversed.
  • We may suspend or refuse withdrawals, or claw back paid rebates, if you breach these Terms or exchange terms; in cases involving money laundering, fraud, identity misuse, wash trading or other abnormal trading, rebates obtained improperly or overpaid through system error; or where required by law or a regulator.

(d) Other

  • A rebate is a benefit we pass on to you out of an exchange’s affiliate share. It may not be transferred, gifted, sold, pledged or moved between users. An available balance does not represent ownership of any particular crypto-asset and is not a transferable means of payment, a stored-value instrument or a token.
  • Rebates are not a loan, deposit, investment return or guaranteed income from us.
  • Rebates and trading gains or losses may be taxable; you are responsible for reporting and paying tax where you live.
  • Where an account is dormant, the service ends or you breach these Terms, we may handle unpaid rebates payable under published rules; unless caused by your breach or required by law, we will give you a reasonable period to request a withdrawal.

8. Content, tools and data

  • Articles, comparisons, the index, fact sheets and calculators are for general information and education. We try to keep them accurate and dated, but exchange fees, rules and promotions change and we do not guarantee that content is current, complete or error-free. Check the exchange’s official pages before acting.
  • Calculator results are estimates based on your inputs and published fees, and do not represent actual rebates or profit and loss.
  • New-user tasks or signup rewards mentioned are official maximums; their form and conditions follow the exchange’s promotion page, and they are paid by the exchange.

9. Referral relationship and interest disclosure

Our articles and pages contain exchange referral codes and links. If you register or trade through them, we receive a referral share from the exchange, which is our main source of income. Your trading fees do not increase, and we pass most of the share back to you as rebates under these Terms and the Supplementary Rules. Our content may therefore focus on exchanges we work with; compare and decide for yourself.

10. Risk disclosure

Before using the Services, make sure you understand these risks and decide whether they suit you:

  • Market risk: crypto-asset prices are highly volatile and can fall sharply or to zero.
  • Leverage and derivatives risk: futures and leverage can cause losses beyond expectations, including your entire margin.
  • Exchange risk: assets held on an exchange are exposed to its business failure, bankruptcy, hacks, withdrawal freezes, service restrictions or misconduct. When FTX collapsed in 2022, withdrawals were frozen and users could not recover assets for a long time. Fully assess an exchange’s track record, proof of reserves and regulatory status, and avoid keeping all assets on one exchange.
  • Liquidity and execution risk: thin markets, delays or failures can prevent orders filling at expected prices.
  • Regulatory and legal risk: virtual-asset laws keep changing and may affect the availability of exchanges, products or the Services where you live, and tax treatment.
  • Referral programme risk: exchanges may change or end referral or affiliate programmes or rates at any time, affecting your rebates.
  • Technology and security risk: attacks, phishing sites, impersonation scams and compromised devices can cause loss. Use only our official domain feeotter.com and official accounts.
  • Third-party risk: outages or changes at exchanges, blockchains, cloud, login or messaging services may affect the Services.

These risks are not exhaustive. Trade only with money you can afford to lose and seek qualified professional advice where needed.

11. Local laws and compliance

Fee Otter serves users worldwide. Laws on crypto-asset exchanges, referral rebates, crypto-asset trading and taxes differ between countries and regions and may change at any time.

  • Before you register on or use any exchange introduced on our site, you must assess for yourself, under the laws of the country or region where you live or are located, whether that exchange is legal and compliant there (for example, whether it is licensed or registered with the local regulator) and whether you are permitted to use it.
  • Listing, introducing or recommending an exchange does not mean we represent or warrant that it is licensed, authorised or registered in any jurisdiction, or that its services are lawfully available where you are.
  • Nothing we provide is legal, tax or investment advice. If you have questions about local law, consult a qualified professional where you are.
  • If the law where you are restricts or prohibits the use of an exchange, crypto-asset trading or the Services, you must not use that exchange or the Services.
  • You alone are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you, including reporting and paying any tax on rebates, and for any loss, liability or penalty that results from not doing so.

12. Prohibited conduct

You must not do any of the following. If you do, we may stop the Services, close your account, refuse or claw back rebates and take legal action:

  • Break the laws of the place where you live or any other law that applies to you, or use the Services for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, gambling or other unlawful purposes.
  • Use another person’s identity or data, provide false information, or claim rebates or withdrawals in another person’s name.
  • Generate fees or obtain rebates improperly, including by wash trading, self-dealing, market manipulation or exploiting system errors or vulnerabilities.
  • Breach an exchange’s user agreement or referral programme rules.
  • Interfere with, damage or gain unauthorised access to our systems, or scrape the site at a scale that affects its operation.
  • Use our name, trademarks or logos without consent, or impersonate us, our staff or official accounts.
  • Spread false information about us, or use the Services to infringe others’ rights.

13. Intellectual property

Copyright, trademarks and other rights in the site, text, charts, data compilations, software, interface design, trademarks and logos belong to us or their owners. Except for personal non-commercial fair use, or quotation with attribution and a link back, you may not reproduce, adapt, distribute, publicly transmit or commercially use them without our written consent.

14. Third-party services and links

The Services include third-party services or links such as exchanges, Google, Telegram, QQ, Threads and X, which operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content, security, availability or any resulting loss.

15. Changes, interruption and termination

  • We may suspend or interrupt all or part of the Services for maintenance, upgrades, third-party failures, force majeure or other reasonable causes, with advance notice where practicable.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account and Services without notice if you breach these Terms, engage in unlawful or abnormal conduct, or where required by law, a regulator or an exchange.
  • You may stop using the Services at any time and ask support to delete your account; request a withdrawal of any available balance first. Data we must keep by law will be kept for the legal period.

16. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

  • The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that they will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for your particular purpose.
  • To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for your trading or investment losses; acts, failures, hacks or outages of exchanges or other third parties; losses from market movements, network or system failures or force majeure; losses from your breach or incorrect information; or any indirect, consequential, incidental or punitive damages or lost profits.
  • To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising from the Services is limited to the extra rebates you actually received from us in the three months before the event.
  • These disclaimers and limits do not apply to our wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or exclude liability that cannot be excluded under consumer-protection or other mandatory law.

17. Your indemnity

If your breach of these Terms, the law or third-party rights causes loss to us, our staff or partners, or leads to third-party claims, you are liable for that loss, including reasonable legal fees and costs.

18. Anti-money-laundering and compliance

We comply with applicable anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing laws. We may ask for identity, source-of-funds or other necessary information. If you refuse, provide false information, or activity appears to involve money laundering, terrorist financing or other unlawful conduct, we may refuse service, suspend or refuse withdrawals, freeze unpaid rebates and report to or cooperate with the authorities as applicable law requires.

19. Personal data

We collect, process and use your personal data under applicable data-protection laws and our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

20. Changes to these Terms and notices

We may change these Terms and the Supplementary Rules at any time by publishing the new version and its effective date on the site, and will try to give advance notice of changes that materially affect you. Continuing to use the Services after a change takes effect means you accept it; if you do not, stop using the Services. We may notify you by site notice, member-area message or the contact details you provided.

21. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute arising from them or the Services are governed by the laws of Switzerland, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Both parties agree that the competent courts of Zug, Switzerland, have jurisdiction at first instance, except where mandatory consumer-protection law of the country where you live, or other mandatory rules on exclusive jurisdiction, provide otherwise.

22. Miscellaneous

  • If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
  • Our failure or delay in exercising a right is not a waiver of it.
  • These Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Supplementary Rules are the entire agreement between you and us about the Services.
  • Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.

If you have questions about these Terms, contact us through the support channels published on the site (Telegram, QQ) or by email at contact(at)feeotter.com .
