WEEX's futures fee rebate is 70%: sign up with invite code otter123 and bind through Fee Otter, and the exchange returns 60% automatically while Fee Otter adds 10%; spot is 45%. Most codes you will find pay 20% (some 25%), so 70% is about 3.5 times that. On 1,000 USDT of monthly fees, a common code returns 200 and Fee Otter returns 700 (checked October 2026).

How the WEEX rebate works (charge first, refund later)

WEEX charges the full fee at the time of the trade and returns the rebate afterwards. The rate on your order ticket does not get cheaper; the saving arrives later.

We set the exchange-side automatic rebate to the maximum WEEX allows. That layer is settled automatically by the exchange, without passing through Fee Otter.

What you actually pay: WEEX's list rates

• Spot maker is 0.1% too: WEEX ran a 0% spot maker promotion from 5 February to 31 March 2025, and it has ended. VIP 0 spot maker and taker are both 0.1% now, or 0.055% after Fee Otter's 45% spot rebate.
• The 0.08% futures taker really is high (Binance/OKX/Gate 0.05%, Bybit 0.055%, Bitget 0.06%, MEXC 0.04%). But WEEX VIP tiers cut it, and WEEX once ran a limited-time event giving 50% off futures fees for holding a set amount of WXT (roughly 100,000 WXT; the event has ended), and current WXT holder benefits are whatever the official WXT page announces. Which band applies depends on your account.

Is WEEX still worth it at a higher list rate?

Judge the post-rebate effective rate, not the list rate:

At VIP 0 list rates, Gate, MEXC and XT.COM all land lower than WEEX: the same or a similar rebate rate on a smaller fee base. WEEX wins on two other things:

• WXT holder offers: WEEX once ran a limited-time 50% futures fee discount for WXT holders (now ended); if a similar offer returns, the same 70% rebate on top could reverse the comparison.
• A 70% rebate: level with Gate, XT.COM and Ourbit, and above Pionex, Bitget, HTX, Binance and Bybit.

Fees are charged as normal and the rebate is added to your available balance on the platform after settlement, itemised; you can request a withdrawal at any time. Already have a WEEX account?

A referral code can only be entered when the account is created and cannot be added later. If your WEEX account was not opened under a rebate code, simply register again with a phone number or email never used on WEEX via the dedicated link. How is this different from a KOL code?

Most circulating codes pass on only about 20% and keep the rest. Beyond the percentage, it matters whether the counterparty holds a direct, long-term agreement with the exchange: sub-affiliate status is reviewed, and if that person fails review or is downgraded, the rate their users receive is affected directly, while the binding itself is nearly impossible to change.

Risks to know before using WEEX

WEEX's rebate terms are good, but know these risks before you deposit:

• Oversight and ratings: WEEX was founded in 2018; its CoinGecko trust score is 8/10 with no security incidents recorded in the past 12 months. Unlike a broker overseen by a major financial regulator, though, balances there carry no deposit-insurance-style protection.
• Don't keep long-term or large balances on the exchange: keep only the funds you are actively trading on WEEX; withdraw money you aren't trading and anything you hold long term.
• Use a cold wallet for long-term holdings: move large, long-term assets to a hardware cold wallet (such as a Ledger) and keep them offline.
• Futures and high leverage are high risk: WEEX offers up to 400x on futures (BTC and other major contracts). Beginners should avoid high leverage and learn the rules with small amounts first.

Is spot maker free on WEEX?

Not at the moment. VIP 0 spot maker and taker are both 0.1%, apart from a handful of pairs marked fee-free; the 0% spot maker rate in 2025 (5 February to 31 March) was a promotion that has ended. The official fee page is authoritative.

Do the rebate and a VIP discount conflict?

No, they stack. A VIP discount lowers the list rate; the rebate returns part of what you paid.

Do spot, futures and tokenized stock trades all earn a rebate?

Yes, the rebate follows the fees you generate, but the rate differs: 70% on futures, 45% on spot (35% automatic from the exchange + 10% extra from Fee Otter). Spot maker and taker fills both pay 0.1%, which comes to 0.055% after the 45% rebate.
