Bybit Earn has no extra fee, since the management fee is already built into the APY. Your interest does, however, generate an interest share for whoever referred you, and KOLs usually keep all of it. Bind (or rebind) your Bybit UID through Fee Otter and we return 40% of that interest share to you (checked October 2026). Trading fees work the same way: common referral codes mostly pay 20%, some 25%, while our code FEEOTTER pays 40% on Bybit, so on 1,000 USDT of monthly fees a common code returns 200 USDT and ours returns 400 USDT.
Regional restrictions: Bybit does not accept residents of Hong Kong, mainland China, the EU, the UK, the US, Singapore, Canada, Australia and certain other regions; users in these regions cannot receive rebates (see clause 11 of the Bybit Affiliate Program Terms).
What is Bybit Earn? Easy Earn, On-Chain Earn, Advanced Earn
Bybit Earn lets idle assets earn interest, in three flavors:
- Easy Earn: a beginner-friendly, low-risk product with principal protection on the token amount; ideal for new users.
- On-Chain Earn: earn on-chain yield by staking crypto assets; for users exploring on-chain opportunities.
- Advanced Earn: structured products with higher yield potential, best for experienced investors who can take on more risk.
Bybit's own docs are explicit: "Are there additional fees? No. Bybit's management fee is already reflected in the APY." What you give up on Earn is a slice of your interest, handed to the platform and the inviter. The inviter's slice is the interest share below.
Why an inviter / KOL earns a share of your Earn interest
Under the official Bybit Affiliate Program (affiliates.bybit.com, up to 50% commission), affiliates earn commission on their referred users' activity on Bybit, including Earn interest (you can see the "Earn commission" line in the Bybit affiliate dashboard). Most KOLs keep all of it, so you get nothing. Also, per the official affiliate FAQ, the affiliate relationship may be terminated if the referred user makes no trades for 180 consecutive days.
How the Earn interest share works, in four steps
First, keep the two bases apart: the fee rebate is a share of trading fees, while the Earn share is a share of interest, and each has its own rate and settlement. The Earn flow runs like this:
- You put assets into Bybit Earn: on Easy Earn Flexible, for example, yield is calculated hourly and paid daily at 00:30 UTC to your Funding Account (Bybit's official Easy Earn FAQ).
- The management fee is already in the APR: the APR you see already reflects Bybit's management fee, and no separate fee is charged.
- The affiliate earns commission on your Earn activity: Bybit's official affiliate program counts Earn products as a commission source, listed as "Earn commission" in the affiliate dashboard.
- Bound through Fee Otter, 40% of that share comes back to you: under most KOL codes, the whole share stays with the KOL.
What Fee Otter returns to you is that affiliate share. Also, per the official affiliate FAQ, the affiliate relationship may end if the referred user makes no trades for 180 consecutive days, so keep that in mind if you only hold Earn products and never trade.
Fee Otter returns 40% of your Earn interest share
Most KOLs keep the Earn share. Fee Otter returns 40% of your perp/spot trading fees and of your Earn interest share.
Existing users can rebind and reclaim the share
Already have a Bybit account? If it is under 14 days old and has no referrer, you can enter our affiliate ID 163627 in the backfill form within that window and start earning rebate on both trading and Earn; other existing users can refer to the rebind guide. See the Bybit rebind guide.
The Bybit rebind guide sets out three methods; pick the one that fits you:
- Method 1: within 14 days of signup, add the affiliate ID officially: if the account is under 14 days old and has no referrer or affiliate code, add our affiliate ID 163627 (the form accepts only the numeric ID, not a text code) under Profile → Account → Account Info → "Join an Affiliate's Community". Main accounts only, and it can't be cancelled or changed afterwards (Bybit's official guide).
- Method 2: transfer your existing KYC to a new account: first register a brand-new, unverified account through the Fee Otter link, then, once the old account's KYC is at least 24 hours old, move it under Profile → Identity Verification → Identity Transfer.
- Method 3 (recommended, fastest): Bybit lets you complete KYC on 3 different accounts with a driver's licence, passport and national ID; use a document you haven't used yet to register a new account through the dedicated link, which binds our code.
Whichever you choose, once the rebind is done, the trading-fee rebate and the Earn interest share start accruing together.
Trading fees are rebated too, at 40%
The trading-fee rebate is 40%, 2× the common 20% referral codes; see the full Bybit fee rebate guide. The rate:
Worked example: trading plus Earn, what comes back each month?
Start with trading fees. Bybit's USDT perpetual rates for regular users (VIP 0), and the net taker after the rebate (net rate = taker × (1 − rebate rate)):
| Market | Maker | Taker | Taker after a common 20% code | Taker via Fee Otter (40%) |
| USDT perpetual | 0.02% | 0.055% | 0.044% | 0.033% |
Fees verified on 2026-09-24. Source: Bybit official fee schedule · Methodology
The futures rebate at two volumes (all taker):
| Monthly futures volume | Monthly fees | Common 20% code | Fee Otter (40%) |
| 500,000 USDT | 275 USDT | 55 USDT | 110 USDT |
| 2,000,000 USDT | 1,100 USDT | 220 USDT | 440 USDT |
Now Earn. The actual share depends on your products and principal, so here is an illustrative figure: if your Earn activity generates 10 USDT of interest share for the inviter in a month, most KOL codes return 0 to you; through Fee Otter at 40%, you get 4 USDT back, on top of your trading rebate.
On 500,000 USDT of monthly taker futures, a common 20% code returns 55 USDT and ours returns 110 USDT, an extra 660 USDT a year, with the Earn share added on top.
If you are already a VIP on an exchange and want to switch your binding or sign up with another exchange, contact support: we can help you apply for special trading benefits or a higher rebate rate.
How does Bybit compare with other exchanges?
The Earn share is Bybit's distinctive feature, but choosing an exchange still comes down to net futures cost (every exchange side by side in the exchange fee and rebate comparison):
Staying on Bybit? Register with our code (it is covered in Bybit referral code, the screens in how to register on Bybit); if you already have an account, follow the Bybit rebind guide and get both the trading and Earn rebates back.
Frequently asked questions
Does Bybit Earn have fees?
No extra fee. Officially, the management fee is already in the APY. But your interest generates an affiliate interest share.
Why does an inviter earn a share of my Earn interest?
Because Bybit's official affiliate program pays affiliates commission on referred users' activity, including Earn, visible as "Earn commission" in the affiliate dashboard.
Will a KOL share the Earn rebate with me?
Most keep all of it. Fee Otter returns 40% of the Earn interest share to you, and the trading-fee rebate is also 40%.
How do existing users reclaim the share?
An account under 14 days old with no referrer can enter our affiliate ID 163627 in the backfill form within that window; other existing users can refer to the rebind guide.
How often is Bybit Earn yield paid?
On Easy Earn Flexible, for example, yield is calculated hourly and paid daily at 00:30 UTC to your Funding Account; other Earn products follow their own rules.
Are the Earn share and the trading-fee rebate the same thing?
No. The fee rebate is based on trading fees, 40% when bound through Fee Otter; the Earn share is based on interest, with 40% returned. They're calculated separately and you get both.
Can the affiliate relationship lapse?
It can. Per Bybit's official affiliate FAQ, the relationship may end if the referred user makes no trades for 180 consecutive days, so bear that in mind if you only hold Earn products.
