How much of your fees comes back?

Fees are charged on every fill, whether the trade wins or loses. Put in how you actually trade — margin, leverage, round trips — and this works out the monthly fee and what returns through Fee Otter. Rates come live from the platform, not from this page.

How this is calculated

Monthly volume = margin × leverage × round trips × 2 (opening and closing are both fills). Monthly fee = volume × the blended maker/taker rate. The rebate is a fixed percentage of that fee, applied per fill and settled daily — the same rate from your very first trade.

Frequently asked questions

How are trading fees calculated?

Fee = position notional × fee rate, and notional = margin × leverage. For example, 1,000 USDT margin at 10× is a 10,000 USDT position; a 0.05% futures taker fee is 5 USDT, or 10 USDT to open and close.

How accurate is the calculator?

It uses each exchange’s VIP0 list fees and current rebate rates. Actual amounts vary with your VIP tier, maker/taker mix, token discounts and real fills, so treat the result as an estimate.

What amount is the rebate based on?

The rebate is based on the fee you actually pay. With a token discount on, the fee is reduced first and the rebate is calculated on the reduced amount, so the two stack.

When do I receive the rebate?

After you bind your UID, the previous day’s data refreshes and settles daily at 16:00 (UTC+8). The exchange’s automatic portion goes to your exchange account; the rest can be viewed on the rebate dashboard and paid out on request.
