For futures taker orders after rebates, BingX is cheaper than Bitget. Sign up with code FEEOTTER and BingX pays a 45% rebate, all refunded automatically by BingX with no UID binding; Bitget pays 50% on futures (20% exchange auto-rebate + 30% extra rebate) and 45% on spot (20% + 25%). The futures taker nets to 0.0275% on BingX and 0.03% on Bitget. Maker orders and spot paid in BGB come out lower on Bitget (fees and rebate rates checked 2026-10-17).
Both exchanges are popular with copy traders, so this comparison counts the whole cost of copying: fees, the lead trader's profit share, how rebates are credited, and the rules for rebinding. On listed fees, BingX futures taker is 0.05% and Bitget's 0.06%; both charge 0.02% maker on futures and 0.1% on spot.
Quick verdict
- Futures taker and copy trading → BingX: net taker 0.0275% vs 0.03%. On 300,000 USDT of monthly copy volume, all taker, net cost is 82.5 vs 90 USDT.
- Futures maker → Bitget, slightly: net maker 0.010% vs 0.011% on BingX.
- Spot, happy to use BGB → Bitget: BGB takes spot to 0.08%, and 45% back leaves 0.044%; BingX spot nets 0.055%.
- Both pay more than double a typical KOL code: common codes give 20%–25%. With code FEEOTTER, BingX pays 45% (2.25×) and Bitget futures 50% (2.5×).
- Different payout routes: BingX refunds all 45% itself; on Bitget the exchange refunds 20% and Fee Otter settles the other 30%, which needs your UID bound.
Fees: BingX has the lower futures taker
| Item | BingX | Bitget |
|---|---|---|
| Spot maker / taker | 0.10% / 0.10% | 0.10% / 0.10% (0.08% with BGB) |
| Futures maker | 0.02% | 0.02% |
| Futures taker | 0.05% | 0.06% |
| Futures taker ÷ maker | 2.5× | 3× |
Fees checked 2026-10-17. BingX: perpetual futures fee schedule, spot VIP fee announcement, BingX public API (BTC-USDT maker 0.0002, taker 0.0005); Bitget: Bitget fee page (2026-08-20), BGB discount page, Bitget public API (BTCUSDT futures maker 0.0002, taker 0.0006) · Methodology
- Bitget's futures taker is 20% higher than BingX's (0.06 ÷ 0.05). Copy trades usually fill at market alongside the lead trader, so the taker rate matters most.
- The BGB discount is written for spot and margin only: 20% off, not applicable to futures or the futures fills of copy trading.
- Fees fall with VIP level. This article uses regular-user rates; rebates are worked out on the fees you actually pay.
Rebate structure: BingX fully automatic, Bitget in two layers
| Layer | BingX | Bitget |
|---|---|---|
| Layer 1: exchange auto-rebate | 45%, refunded to your BingX account on every trade | 20%, refunded to your Bitget account |
| Layer 2: Fee Otter extra rebate | None | 30% futures, 25% spot |
| Total | 45% (spot and futures alike) | 50% futures, 45% spot |
| UID binding | Not needed | Needed for the extra rebate |
In money: on 1,000 USDT of monthly futures fees, a typical 20% code returns 200 USDT; with code FEEOTTER, BingX returns 450 USDT and Bitget 500 USDT.
BingX's 45% is live from signup: enter FEEOTTER in the referral field and the page shows the rebate under it; after that BingX refunds every trade automatically, with no UID to bind on Fee Otter (see the BingX referral code guide). Bitget's 20% also needs the code at signup. The extra 30% / 25% needs your UID bound on Fee Otter; it is settled daily after the 16:00 (UTC+8) data refresh, listed line by line in the rebate dashboard, and paid on request as on-chain USDT on BEP20, minimum 1 USDT per request, with the 0.015 USDT network fee borne by you.
Net rates after the rebate
Formula: net rate = listed rate × (1 − rebate rate).
| Item | BingX (45%) | Bitget (50% futures, 45% spot) | Lower |
|---|---|---|---|
| Futures taker | 0.0275% | 0.030% | BingX |
| Futures maker | 0.011% | 0.010% | Bitget |
| Futures, 70% taker / 30% maker | 0.0226% | 0.024% | BingX |
| Spot (Bitget without BGB) | 0.055% | 0.055% | Level |
| Spot (Bitget with BGB) | 0.055% | 0.044% | Bitget |
For example, BingX taker = 0.05% × (1 − 45%) = 0.0275%; Bitget taker = 0.06% × (1 − 50%) = 0.030%. On the 70/30 mix: BingX 0.041% × 55% ≈ 0.0226%, Bitget 0.048% × 50% = 0.024%. At 70% taker, every 1 million USDT of futures volume costs about 226 USDT net on BingX and 240 USDT on Bitget.
Bitget's rebate is 5 points higher, but its listed taker is 20% higher, and on taker orders the rebate cannot make that up. Both charge 0.02% maker, so on maker orders the higher rate wins and Bitget comes out ahead. Limit-order traders lean Bitget, market-order and copy traders lean BingX, and the gaps are small either way.
The cost of copy trading: fees, profit share and rebates together
When you copy, every open and close is a futures fill in your own account and is charged at your futures rate. The lead trader's profit share comes out of your profit separately and is not a trading fee. Copy trading rules on both exchanges:
| Item | BingX | Bitget |
|---|---|---|
| Lead trader profit share cap (public) | 10%–32% by level | 10%–20% by level |
| Private copy trading share | 0–50% | 0%–99% |
| Profit share settlement | Weekly | Futures daily at 00:00 (UTC+8), high-water mark |
| Do copy trading fees earn the rebate? | Yes, counted as futures fills | Bitget's affiliate FAQ lists spot, futures and Onchain and does not mention copy trading separately; check your settlement records |
Sources: BingX profit share rules, Bitget elite trader levels, Bitget private mode, Bitget high-water mark, Bitget affiliate FAQ. Details are in our BingX copy trading guide and Bitget copy trading guide.
Our own worked example: 300,000 USDT of monthly copy-trading futures volume, every open and close as taker, assuming Bitget counts copy-trading fees toward the rebate.
| Item | BingX | Bitget |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly fees | 300,000 × 0.05% = 150 USDT | 300,000 × 0.06% = 180 USDT |
| After a typical 20% code | 120 USDT | 144 USDT |
| After FEEOTTER | 82.5 USDT (67.5 back, all automatic) | 90 USDT (90 back: 36 automatic + 54 extra) |
On the same 300,000 USDT, BingX costs 7.5 USDT a month less than Bitget, and returns 37.5 USDT a month more than a typical 20% code. If Bitget's copy-trading fees turn out not to count toward the extra rebate, Bitget keeps only its 20% automatic rebate and the net cost is 144 USDT.
Profit share depends more on the lead trader than on the exchange. On a 100 USDT profit, a BingX Diamond lead trader can take up to 32 USDT and a Bitget public lead trader up to 20 USDT; private links allow higher shares. Check the share before you follow a link someone sends you. The fee side is the part you can cut in advance: with code FEEOTTER, BingX refunds 45% and Bitget 50% on futures.
Late code entry and rebinding
BingX: add it before depositing, otherwise use identity transfer
A new account that has not deposited and has not invited anyone can add FEEOTTER under "My Referrer"; once a referrer is bound it cannot be changed or removed (BingX registration FAQ). If you have deposited or are bound to someone else, open a new account with FEEOTTER and transfer your old account's advanced KYC to it. After a transfer neither account can transfer again for 180 days, and the old account becomes unverified with a 20,000 USDT limit per 24 hours (BingX identity transfer page). Steps are in the BingX rebinding guide.
Bitget: a 30-day cooldown after closing
Bitget has no public way to add a code after signup. Rebinding usually means closing the account, waiting out the 30-day cooldown and signing up again with FEEOTTER; Bitget blocks the same phone number, email or ID for 30 days after closure (Bitget account closure page). Full steps are in the Bitget rebinding guide.
