BingX Copy Trading 2026: Modes, 10% to 32% Profit Share, 45% Rebate

BingX copy trading: Fixed Ratio or Fixed Amount (20 to 200,000 USDT), 10% to 32% profit share settled Mondays, and 45% back on fees with code FEEOTTER.

BingX futures copy trading has two modes. "Fixed Ratio" mirrors the lead trader's position size as a share of the account, and "Fixed Amount" uses the margin you set for every trade (20 to 200,000 USDT). Lead traders take a profit share of 10% to 32% depending on their tier, settled every Monday and charged only on profitable positions. Trading fees are charged separately at your own VIP rate, and with the invite code FEEOTTER you get 45% of them back (verified October 2026).

The cost followers underestimate most is fees. At 10x leverage, every full round trip the lead trader makes (opening and closing both as taker) costs you 1% of your margin up front: 0.05% × 2 × 10. A lead trader who trades in and out a dozen or more times a month can run up fees that exceed the profit share. Below we cover the rules first, then work through a 500 USDT example that adds up fees, profit share and rebate together.

Since the December 2025 update, futures copy trading lets you set your own leverage and trading pairs, and adds "Zero Slippage" copy trading along with auto take-profit and trailing stop-loss (BingX update announcement). From 5 June 2026, every crypto trading pair can be copied, but each lead trader has a cap on total copied positions in less liquid coins. For DOT/USDT it is 80,000 USDT. Major coins are largely unaffected (trading pair announcement).

Fixed Ratio or Fixed Amount?

  • Fixed Ratio: if the lead trader opens a position with 10% of their account, you open one with 10% of your copy trading funds. Your position size rises and falls with how heavily the lead trader bets, so your orders track their sizing.
  • Fixed Amount: you use the same margin on every trade, however large the lead trader goes. This suits you if you want to cap the risk on each trade, or if the lead trader's account is so large that the ratio leaves you with tiny positions.

You can't use both modes on the same lead trader at once. To switch, stop copying first and then set it up again (BingX copy trading help).

The list of Zero Slippage pairs changes with liquidity (it had 76 pairs in April 2026). If a pair is dropped from the list, your copied positions in that pair are closed at market straight away, so know this before you turn it on.

How is profit share calculated?

For futures copy trading, the profit share rate depends on the lead trader's tier. From Silver up, lead traders can set their own rate within the range; private copy trading (invitation only, set up by the lead trader) can be set anywhere from 0 to 50%. A rate change applies only to followers who join afterwards (BingX profit share rules).

Lead trader tierRequirements (last 30 days)Profit share cap
BronzeNone10%
Silver≥ 100 followers or ≥ 50 USDT earned for followers; average assets ≥ 1,000 USDT16%
Gold≥ 500 followers and ≥ 1,000 USDT earned for followers; average assets ≥ 3,000 USDT20%
Diamond≥ 2,000 followers and ≥ 10,000 USDT earned for followers; average assets ≥ 20,000 USDT32%

Tiers are updated every Monday (BingX lead trader tiers). Gold and Diamond lead traders also receive a management fee and monthly salary from BingX. The platform pays these, and they don't come out of followers' funds.

Three settlement rules to remember:

  • Settlement is every Monday at 00:00 (UTC+8) and covers only positions that were fully closed that week and made money. Losing or break-even positions pay no profit share.
  • Your P&L is credited when a position closes, and only the profit share itself waits for Monday. If the week ends at a loss, the profit share held back is returned.
  • It works week by week: BingX doesn't say whether a losing week can offset profit share in later weeks. The conservative assumption is that each week is calculated separately, and the example below assumes that.

Copy trading fees and rebates

There is no extra platform fee for copy trading. Opening and closing positions are charged the normal futures fees for your account's own VIP level (BingX fee guide):

Type (VIP 0)MakerTaker
Perpetual futures0.02%0.05%
Spot0.10%0.10%

Copied opens and closes are ordinary futures trades in your account, so their fees count toward the rebate as usual. Sign up with the invite code FEEOTTER and BingX automatically returns 45% on every trade, which brings the effective futures taker rate down from 0.05% to 0.0275%. The lead trader's profit share isn't a trading fee, so it isn't covered by the rebate.

Since 23 April 2026, when BingX sizes your copied position it reserves fees at your account's actual taker rate (BingX announcement). The lower your fees, the closer the same funds get you to the lead trader's position.

Worked example: where 500 USDT goes in a month of copy trading

Assumptions: you copy with 500 USDT on Fixed Ratio at 10x leverage. The lead trader makes 4 full round trips this month, and each time your position opens at 5,000 and closes at 5,000 USDT, all as taker. The lead trader returns +20% for the month and you match it at +20% (in practice slippage and missed orders will make it differ). Profit share is assumed to be charged on profit after fees at the Bronze rate of 10%, and funding fees are ignored.

ItemCalculationAmount (USDT)
Gross profit500 × 20%+100
Trading fees40,000 × 0.05%−20
Profit share(100 − 20) × 10%−8
Net profit without rebate+72
Typical 20% invite code rebate20 × 20%+4 → net 76
FEEOTTER 45% rebate20 × 45%+9 → net 81

In this example, fees (20 USDT) are 2.5 times the profit share (8 USDT). Many people pick lead traders on profit share rate alone, but how often the lead trader trades has a bigger effect on your net profit:

  • Lead trader makes 8 round trips: fees rise to 40 USDT and net profit without a rebate drops to about 54 USDT. With FEEOTTER you get 18 USDT back.
  • Switch to a Diamond lead trader (32%): profit share is 25.6 USDT and net profit is about 54 USDT. A lead trader with a higher profit share cap is only worth it if their performance matches.
  • Effect of weekly settlement: take the same month with 80 USDT net profit, but split into weeks of −30, +50, +40 and +20. The three winning weeks total 110 USDT and all pay 10%, so profit share comes to 11 USDT, 3 USDT more than if the whole month were settled together.

Choosing a lead trader: the numbers to check

  • Trading frequency: start with the number of positions opened in the last 30 days. More trades mean higher fees for you, and a rebate that is worth more.
  • Maximum drawdown: with a lead trader who has high returns but deep drawdowns, you may not last until they recover. Followers' maintenance margin rate is 0.31% for BTC and 0.37% for other pairs, so you can be liquidated before the lead trader is (BingX help).
  • Lead trader's assets and follower count: the more of their own money a lead trader puts in, the more their interests line up with followers'. If a lead trader is close to the 2,000-follower cap, new followers may not be able to join.
  • How far back to look: 7-day returns are easily skewed by one or two big trades. Look at 30 days at least, and 90 days if you can.

Lead traders have rules too. They can't promise returns or trade at high frequency, and using multiple accounts to hedge gets them banned (lead trader code of conduct). BingX also warns against making private copy trading arrangements with lead traders and says it charges no fees outside the platform (BingX risk warning).

How to start copy trading

  1. Sign up for BingX with the invite code FEEOTTER and complete identity verification (see the BingX sign-up guide for the steps).
  2. Transfer USDT to your futures account.
  3. Go to the "Copy Trading" page and pick a lead trader using the numbers in the previous section.
  4. Choose Fixed Ratio or Fixed Amount, set your copy trading funds, leverage, take-profit and stop-loss, and turn on Zero Slippage if you want it.

This is the actual BingX signup page opened through our link, with the code already filled in. Plenty of codes that advertise high rebates come without a single screenshot, and people only find out after signing up that no rebate arrives. We put up each exchange's signup page or dashboard so you can check before you register.

Once a BingX referrer is linked, it can't be changed. New accounts that haven't deposited yet can add one later under BingX's official rules (see BingX referral code). So before you start copy trading, check that your account was registered with our invite code.

Risks to know before copy trading on BingX

  • Past performance doesn't predict future results: BingX itself states that copy trading is high risk. If the lead trader is liquidated, followers are liquidated with them.
  • 2024 hot wallet hack: on 20 September 2024 a BingX hot wallet was hacked, and security firm PeckShield estimated losses at about US$43 million. BingX said it covered the loss from its own funds, that user assets were unaffected, and withdrawals resumed within a few days (BingX incident statement, The Block report).
  • No financial licence listed on the official site: BingX was founded in 2018. CoinGecko lists it as registered in the British Virgin Islands with a trust score of 8/10 (CoinGecko).
  • Don't keep large or long-term holdings on an exchange: we suggest withdrawing anything beyond your copy trading funds to your own wallet, and keeping long-term holdings in a hardware cold wallet.
  • Loss compensation vouchers don't protect your principal: BingX occasionally hands out copy trading loss vouchers. They pay the lowest of your actual loss, principal × the voucher's rate, and the voucher's cap, and can be used only once (voucher rules).
