WEEX Referral Code otter123: 70% Fee Rebate (2026)

WEEX referral code otter123: a 70% futures rebate (60% automatic + 10% Fee Otter extra), about 3.5× a typical 20% code. Where the code goes and what it earns.

The WEEX referral code is otter123, already built into the dedicated link. Register with it and bind through Fee Otter, and the futures rebate is 70% (60% paid back by the exchange plus 10% extra from Fee Otter); spot is 45% (checked October 2026). Full rates and evidence: referral codes and rebate rates for every exchange we support.

Registering with it earns a futures rebate of 70%: when bound through Fee Otter, a 60% automatic rebate plus 10% extra. Most referral codes out there pay 20% (some 25%), so ours pays 3.5 times a typical code. On 1,000 USDT of monthly fees, a typical 20% code returns 200 USDT; ours returns 700 USDT.

We set the exchange-side automatic rebate to the highest the exchange allows. That layer is settled automatically by the exchange, without passing through Fee Otter.

This page covers the code itself. Rates and worked examples are in the WEEX fee rebate guide; for the full account-opening walkthrough, see the WEEX registration guide.

This is a real screenshot of our WEEX referral code in our affiliate dashboard. The figure shown is the share that goes to the person who signs up, which is you. Plenty of codes that advertise high rebates come without a single screenshot, and people only find out after signing up that no rebate arrives. We put up each exchange's signup page or dashboard so you can check before you register.

Referral code, invite code, referral ID: the same thing?

Yes. Some people say "referral code", others "invite code", and some interfaces say Referral ID; all of them mean the one field you fill in at signup. On WEEX's signup page it is usually labelled "Referral code (optional)". Whatever it is called, the dedicated link fills it in for you.

Two other things get mixed up with it. Your UID is your own account number, not a code: after signup it is the UID you bind on the rebate site; see what an exchange UID is and where to find it.

Where do you enter the code?

WEEX collapses the referral field by default, usually labelled "Referral code (optional)". Enter through the dedicated link on this page and the code fills in automatically, with no need to expand the field.

App and web: step by step

The flow is the same in WEEX's app and on the website. Six steps get you registered and earning rebates:

  1. Open the dedicated signup link on this page; to register manually, go to the signup page in WEEX's official app or website.
  2. Enter an email address or phone number you use, and set a strong password.
  3. Expand the collapsed "Referral code (optional)" field and check that our code has filled in.
  4. Submit to finish signing up, then turn on two-factor authentication (2FA) straight away. WEEX does not require KYC: unverified accounts can trade and bind rebates.
  5. Find your UID: after logging in, click the avatar at the top right (same in the app and on the web). The UID sits just below your email, a string of digits.
  6. On the Fee Otter rebate site, choose WEEX, paste the UID and submit. Only the UID is needed: no API key, no password.

Step 3 is the only step that cannot be changed once submitted. For deposits, KYC and the full walkthrough, see the WEEX registration guide.

How do I check the code was applied?

If the code did not stick, you get no rebate. Check it this way:

  1. At sign-up: before you submit, look at the referral code field and make sure it says otter123. Signing up through our link fills it in for you.
  2. Bind your UID on Fee Otter: enter your WEEX UID on the Fee Otter rebate site. After you submit it, we check WEEX's referral list, the first time within about 5 minutes. If you are under our code, the status changes to "Verified" and we email you. If it still says "Pending review" after 5 hours, your UID is not on the list: check that you signed up with otter123, or contact support.

If you trade large volumes and want to confirm before your first trade, contact support and we will check it by hand. If the code did not stick, see the WEEX rebinding guide for your options.

How much does it earn?

How much more does Fee Otter's code pay than a typical 20% or 25% code?

The table shows the futures rebate when you bind through Fee Otter (60% automatic from the exchange + 10% extra), against the 20% and 25% codes commonly found online:

ProductRebate via Fee Ottervs a typical 20% codevs a 25% code
Futures70%3.5×2.8×

On 1,000 USDT of monthly futures fees, a typical 20% code returns 200 USDT and a 25% code 250 USDT; Fee Otter's code returns 700 USDT. Over a year, that is 6,000 USDT more than a 20% code. If you're already a VIP on an exchange and want to switch your binding or sign up elsewhere, contact support; we can help request special trading perks or a higher rebate rate.

WEEX's VIP0 futures rates are 0.02% maker and 0.08% taker (see WEEX's official futures fee article, verified 2026-09-24). With a higher fee base, the same percentage gap is worth more in money. VIP0 spot maker and taker are both 0.1%, and the 45% spot rebate applies to both.

The two ways people get this wrong

  • Submitting without expanding the field. WEEX collapses it by default; it cannot be added afterwards.
  • Clicking another referral link mid-signup. The later one overwrites the first. Pick your code and go through that one link end to end.

What is this code actually worth?

Using WEEX futures rates (taker 0.08%, maker 0.02%) at 70% taker fills, the blended rate is 0.062%:

Monthly volumeMonthly feeAt 20% (typical code)At 70% (Fee Otter's code)Yearly gap
100,000 USDT62 USDT12.443.4~372
500,000 USDT310 USDT62217~1,860
2,000,000 USDT1,240 USDT248868~7,440

The gap is wider on WEEX than elsewhere precisely because its fee base is higher (0.08% taker), so the same percentage difference converts into more money. The effective rate calculator converts it to your own numbers.

Does the code expire?

No. A WEEX referral relationship is written at account creation and is nearly impossible to change afterwards. It is not a campaign code and has no expiry or quota. What changes is the percentage, not the code. And because a binding is nearly impossible to change, binding to the wrong party is hard to undo.

WEEX spot and futures rates

WEEX charges 0.1% on VIP0 spot, maker and taker alike. A 0% spot maker promotion ran from 5 February to 31 March 2025 and has ended, so limit orders now pay 0.1% as well; after Fee Otter's 45% rebate, both sides come to 0.055%.

On futures, the 0.08% taker is on the high side, but VIP tiers bring it down (WEEX once ran a limited-time event giving 50% off futures fees for holding a set amount of WXT, roughly 100,000 WXT, and that event has ended; current WXT holder benefits are whatever the official WXT page announces), and a 70% rebate on the reduced rate is very competitive. Full comparison in the WEEX fee rebate guide.

Already registered without a code?

A WEEX referral code cannot be added after signup; the only route is a rebind, explained in the WEEX rebind guide.

An existing WEEX account can still move to Fee Otter's code. WEEX has no public way to add a code later, but rebinding is simple: register again through the dedicated link with a phone number or email never used on WEEX. KYC is not mandatory; if your old account is verified, contact support from the new account via the top-right corner of the app to have the KYC transferred. Full steps are in the WEEX rebind guide, and the conditions for each exchange are in the referral code backfill and rebind rules.

Why do different sources offer different rebates?

1. Direct partnership versus a resold sub-affiliate

We hold direct, long-term agreements with each exchange. Many codes online belong to individuals operating as sub-affiliates, and affiliate status is reviewed. If that person fails review or is downgraded, the rate their users receive is affected directly. You are bound to them, not to the exchange.

2. Whether they are still around

A common pattern: an individual code promises manual top-ups, pays for a few months, then stops answering. Because a binding is almost impossible to change, you stay locked in while still paying fees.

3. How much they give back

We pass most of the share to users and rely on the relationship lasting. Actual percentages are in the rate table above and shown live on the rebate platform (Fee Otter).

FAQ

How much does the WEEX code earn?

70% when bound through Fee Otter: 60% automatic on futures plus 10% extra. That is 3.5 times a typical 20% code and 2.8 times a 25% one.

Does using a code cost more in fees?

No. You pay WEEX's published rates either way; the code only determines how much comes back. People who skip it pay the same and get nothing.

WEEX charges more. Is binding still worth it?

The higher fee base means the same rebate percentage converts into more money, as the table above shows. But compare post-rebate effective rates: the effective rate calculator takes your own VIP rates.

When does the rebate arrive?

WEEX charges first and refunds later. Once your UID is bound, rebates are recorded on the rebate platform (Fee Otter).

Can a WEEX referral code be added after signup?

No. WEEX has no public way to add a code later, and a bound code cannot be changed. If you already have an account, register again through the dedicated link with a phone number or email never used on WEEX to switch to Fee Otter's code; see the WEEX rebind guide.

Do I have to redo KYC to rebind to Fee Otter's code?

No. WEEX does not require KYC, so a new unverified account can trade and bind rebates. If your old account is verified, contact support from the new account via the top-right corner of the app and have the KYC transferred.

For every exchange and what distinguishes each one, see the crypto exchange referral code list. If you already have a WEEX account, the rebind steps are in the WEEX rebind guide. Whether each exchange lets you add a code after signup, and how to rebind, is covered in the referral code late-entry and rebind rules.
