Effective fee rate after rebate
An exchange's list rate is not what you actually pay. Enter your VIP rates to see the effective rate once a rebate is applied — the two stack.
Not sure of your rate? It is on your account fee page. Official page: Binance

Effective rate = blended list rate × (1 − rebate). A VIP discount lowers the list rate; a rebate lowers the share you end up paying. They are independent and they stack.
Information only, not investment advice. Fee rates follow each exchange official page; rebate percentages follow the live Fee Otter platform.
Why look at the effective rate instead of the amount returned?
Because a rate is comparable. The amount returned moves with your volume, but an effective rate can be compared directly against another venue — or against your own next VIP tier. Many people find a rebate binding does more than another VIP step would.
Do VIP discounts and rebates cancel out?
No — they stack. A VIP discount means the exchange charges you a lower list rate; a rebate returns part of what you did pay. Higher VIP tiers therefore save more in absolute terms from a rebate, because their volume is larger to begin with.
How is this different from the rebate calculator?
The calculator answers "how much do I get back" and outputs an amount. This page answers "what rate do I actually pay" and outputs a percentage — the same facts from the angle you need when comparing costs rather than counting returns. How much of your fees comes back?
Frequently asked questions
What is the effective fee rate?
It is the fee rate you actually pay after the rebate: effective rate = list fee × (1 − rebate rate). A 0.05% taker fee with a 40% rebate is 0.03%.
Can I combine a VIP discount with a rebate?
Yes. A VIP tier lowers the list fee, and the rebate is then paid on the fee actually charged, so they stack.
How do token discounts fit in?
A token discount (such as BNB, GT or BGB) lowers the fee first and the rebate applies to the reduced amount: effective rate = list fee × (1 − token discount) × (1 − rebate rate).
