Fee Otter’s OKX invite code is FEEOTTER. Register with it and you get a 20% auto-rebate + exclusive rewards; OKX refunds the 20% on your fees directly (ask support about the exclusive rewards); checked October 2026. Full rates and evidence: referral codes and rebate rates for every exchange we support.
The OKX referral code is built into the dedicated link. Registering through it earns OKX's 20% automatic rebate, returned directly to your account on a charge-first, refund-later basis.
This page answers questions about the code itself: where it goes, what it earns, whether it expires, and what to do if you missed it. For the full walkthrough, see the OKX registration guide.
What is the OKX referral code?
The OKX referral code is FEEOTTER. It is built into the dedicated link: sign up with the button below and it fills in automatically, so there is nothing to type.
Referral code, invite code, referral ID: the same thing?
Yes. "Referral code", "invite code" and "referral ID" all mean the same thing: the code you enter at sign-up that places your account under a referrer. OKX's sign-up page shows a "Referral code (optional)" field, the Chinese interface calls it 邀請碼, and some guides say invite code. The names differ but the field is the same.
One thing to watch: two codes can look identical in that field and still pay you very different amounts. According to the OKX Affiliate FAQ, the invitee's rebate rate ranges from 0% to 20% and is set by the referrer; setting it to 0% is allowed. Sign up with Fee Otter's code and the full 20% comes back to you.
Where do you enter the code?
OKX collapses the referral field by default, usually labelled "Referral code (optional)". A missing code is almost always a field nobody expanded. The dedicated link fills it in; expand the field before submitting to check.
The signup page itself tells you whether the code took: open it from the dedicated link and, with FEEOTTER in the field, OKX shows “20% rebate rate applied” above it, plus “20% off on trading fees” on the left:
No “20% rebate rate applied” line means the code did not carry over. Expand the field to check, or reopen the dedicated link above.
Full sign-up, KYC and binding steps are in the OKX registration guide.
Step by step on the app and the website
The app and the website use the same sign-up flow; only the screen layout differs. Follow this order and the code won't get lost:
- Open OKX's official sign-up page through the button on this page (desktop or mobile browser); the code fills in automatically. If you open the app directly, the code is not filled in, so start from the dedicated link on this page instead.
- Register with an email address or phone number you actually use, and set a strong password.
- Expand the "Referral code (optional)" field, check it reads FEEOTTER, and submit only once you see "20% rebate rate applied". Once submitted, it cannot be changed.
- After logging in, turn on two-factor authentication (2FA) right away, then complete KYC.
- Click the avatar in the top-right corner, copy your UID (a string of digits), then on the Fee Otter rebate site choose OKX, paste it and submit.
How do I check the code was applied?
If the code did not stick, you get no rebate. Check it this way:
- At sign-up: when you arrive through our link and the field says FEEOTTER, the page shows "20% rebate rate applied" above the field.
- After you log in: in the OKX app, go to Menu → Account settings → Profile → Referral rewards. According to OKX's official FAQ, if you can see this entry, your account has a referral relationship.
- Bind your UID on Fee Otter: enter your OKX UID on the Fee Otter rebate site. After you submit it, we check OKX's referral list, the first time within about 5 minutes. If you are under our code, the status changes to "Verified" and we email you. If it still says "Pending review" after 5 hours, your UID is not on the list: check that you signed up with FEEOTTER, or contact support.
If you trade large volumes and want to confirm before your first trade, contact support and we will check it by hand. If the code did not stick, see the OKX rebinding guide for your options.
How much does it earn?
OKX's auto-rebate is 20%, returned automatically by the exchange. We also run exclusive OKX rewards and promotions; contact support for details.
Rebate rates across the exchanges we support (OKX: 20% auto-rebate + exclusive rewards):
The three ways people get this wrong
- Submitting without expanding the field. OKX collapses the referral field by default; missing it is almost always a matter of not opening it. It cannot be added afterwards.
- Clicking another referral link mid-signup. Open a second coded link before finishing and the later one overwrites the first. Pick your code and go through that one link end to end.
- Assuming it can be changed later. It cannot. The relationship is written at account creation, and OKX rebinding is considerably more work than registering correctly in the first place.
What is this code actually worth?
Using OKX futures rates (taker 0.05%, maker 0.02%; see OKX's official fee schedule) at 70% taker / 30% maker, the blended rate is 0.041%:
| Monthly volume | Monthly fee | No code (0%) | With Fee Otter's code (official 20%) | Yearly gap |
| 100,000 USDT | 41 USDT | 0 | 8.2 | ~98 |
| 500,000 USDT | 205 USDT | 0 | 41 | ~492 |
| 2,000,000 USDT | 820 USDT | 0 | 164 | ~1,968 |
That is the 20% automatic rebate, which any valid referral code earns. For our exclusive OKX rewards and promotions, contact support. The effective rate calculator converts this to your own numbers.
What Fee Otter's code earns on OKX: 20% in money terms
For OKX we quote the 20% auto-rebate + exclusive rewards and make no multiple comparisons. Two people can both enter a referral code, yet a code set to 0% by its referrer returns nothing, while Fee Otter's code returns the full 20%. By monthly fees:
| Monthly fees | Code set to 0% | Fee Otter's code (20%) | Returned per year |
| 100 USDT | 0 | 20 USDT | 240 USDT |
| 500 USDT | 0 | 100 USDT | 1,200 USDT |
| 1,000 USDT | 0 | 200 USDT | 2,400 USDT |
On 1,000 USDT of monthly fees, Fee Otter's code returns 200 USDT a month, 2,400 USDT a year. Beyond the 20%, there are exclusive OKX rewards and promotions; contact support for details. If you're already a VIP at an exchange and want to rebind or sign up at another one, support can also help you apply for special trading perks and exclusive rewards.
What is the OKX rebate?
OKX is listed at its 20% auto-rebate + exclusive rewards (contact support). The table above counts 20%.
Does the code expire?
No. An OKX referral relationship is written at account creation and almost impossible to change afterwards. It is not a campaign code and has no expiry or quota.
What changes is the percentage, not the code: exchanges can revise affiliate policy. The binding itself does not lapse, which also means binding to the wrong party is hard to undo.
Do you still get OKX's new-user rewards with Fee Otter's code?
Yes. According to the OKX referral program page, users who sign up through an invitation automatically join the platform's New User Bonus Program; signing up with Fee Otter's code qualifies the same way (for example mystery boxes; actual content and amounts follow OKX's official campaigns).
A welcome bonus is paid once, while the 20% rebate applies to every trade. These rewards usually carry deposit, volume and time conditions, so treat them as a one-off bonus, not a reason to pick a code.
Already registered without a code?
An OKX referral code cannot be added after signup (see OKX's official referral program page), but OKX offers several rebind routes: the official rebind request, a recall-and-rebind after 180 days idle, and KYC release on first closure for non-mainland users.
All three methods and their conditions are in the OKX rebind guide; if none works, contact support.
Why do different sources offer different rebates?
Three things explain most of the gap:
1. Direct partnership versus a resold sub-affiliate
We hold direct, long-term agreements with each exchange. Many codes online belong to individuals operating as sub-affiliates, and affiliate status is reviewed. If that person fails review or is downgraded, the rate their users receive is affected directly. You are bound to them, not to the exchange.
2. Whether they are still around
A common pattern: an individual code promises manual top-ups, pays for a few months, then stops answering. The problem is that a binding is almost impossible to change, so you stay locked into a relationship that no longer functions while still paying fees.
3. How much they give back
We pass most of the share to users and rely on the relationship lasting. For OKX, we also run exclusive rewards and promotions; contact support to confirm.
How OKX compares
FAQ
How much rebate does the OKX code earn?
A 20% automatic rebate + exclusive rewards: the 20% is returned by OKX on a charge-first basis. For the exclusive rewards, contact support.
Can a referral code be added after registering?
No. OKX writes the relationship at account creation only. Existing accounts need to rebind; see the rebind guide.
Does using a referral code cost more in fees?
No. The code does not change your fee schedule. You pay OKX's rates either way; it only determines how much comes back.
Can mainland China users use it?
Yes. OKX provides mirror links that work without a VPN; the rebind guide lists the corresponding links; see the OKX rebind guide.
When does the rebate arrive?
OKX charges first and refunds later: fees are taken as normal, then 20% is returned. Once your UID is bound, rebates are recorded on the rebate platform (Fee Otter).
What does "charge first, refund later" mean on OKX?
The full fee is taken at the time of the trade and the rebate is returned to your account afterwards. The rate on your order ticket does not get cheaper. The saving arrives later, which is the part most people misread at first.
Does a rebate affect my OKX level?
No. Your level is set by volume and holdings; a rebate is returned afterwards and does not enter that calculation. The two stack.
For every exchange and what distinguishes each one, see the crypto exchange referral code list. For how the OKX rebate is calculated and what it pays back each month, see the complete OKX fee rebate guide. Whether each exchange lets you add a code after signup, and how to rebind, is covered in the referral code late-entry and rebind rules by exchange.
Get started: no OKX account yet? Sign up through Fee Otter's dedicated link (code FEEOTTER), submit once you see "20% rebate rate applied", and follow the OKX registration guide through KYC and UID binding. Already have an account? Pick the method that fits you in the OKX rebind guide.
Information only, not investment advice. Rebate percentages and exchange policy can change; OKX's official announcements and the live Fee Otter platform are authoritative.
