Gate Referral Code FEEOTTER: 70% Rebate, 3.5× a Typical Code

Gate (Gate.io) referral code FEEOTTER: get 70% of futures trading fees back (20% from Gate plus 50% from Fee Otter), 3.5× a typical 20% code. Settled daily.

Fee Otter's Gate referral code is FEEOTTER. Register through the dedicated link and you get a 70% futures fee rebate (20% returned by the exchange plus 50% extra from Fee Otter), 3.5x a common 20% code (checked October 2026). Full rates and evidence: referral codes and rebate rates for every exchange we support.

The Gate referral code, FEEOTTER, is built into the dedicated link.

Registering with it earns a fee rebate of 70%: 20% returned automatically by Gate plus 50% more from Fee Otter. That ties with WEEX, XT.COM and Ourbit for the highest rate on this site. Most referral codes out there pay 20% (some 25%); with your UID bound on Fee Otter, our code pays 70%, 3.5 times a typical code. On 1,000 USDT of monthly fees, a typical 20% code returns 200 USDT; ours returns 700 USDT.

This page covers the code itself. For the full walkthrough, see the Gate registration guide.

What is the Gate referral code?

The Gate referral code is FEEOTTER. The button below carries it automatically; if you register manually, enter it in the referral field.

Gate Referral code FEEOTTER
This is the actual Gate signup page opened through our link, with the code already filled in. Plenty of codes that advertise high rebates come without a single screenshot, and people only find out after signing up that no rebate arrives. We put up each exchange's signup page or dashboard so you can check before you register.

Where do you enter the code?

Gate collapses the field by default, labelled "Referral code (optional)". Expand it, check that the field is already filled in, and submit. Full steps are in the Gate registration guide.

Through the dedicated link, the left side is the Fee Otter signup page Gate set up for us, listing the code’s automatic rebate: 20% on Spot, Futures, Alpha, DEX and CFD; tokenised stocks (Stocks) show “--”, meaning no automatic layer there:

How do I check the code was applied?

If the code did not stick, you get no rebate. Check it this way:

  1. At sign-up: before you submit, look at the referral code field and make sure it says FEEOTTER. Signing up through our link fills it in for you.
  2. Bind your UID on Fee Otter: enter your Gate UID on the Fee Otter rebate site. After you submit it, we check Gate's referral list, the first time within about 5 minutes. If you are under our code, the status changes to "Verified" and we email you. If it still says "Pending review" after 5 hours, your UID is not on the list: check that you signed up with FEEOTTER, or contact support.

If you trade large volumes and want to confirm before your first trade, contact support and we will check it by hand. If the code did not stick, see the Gate rebinding guide for your options.

How much does it earn?

70%: 20% automatic plus 50% extra from Fee Otter. Gate's affiliate share is itself higher than the others and we pass the difference down, so the same fees return the largest absolute amount on Gate. Gate's official announcement also states that partners can pass at most 20% to directly invited users (see Gate's official announcement), which is where the first-layer 20% comes from.

The two ways people get this wrong

  • Submitting without expanding the field. Gate collapses the referral field by default.
  • Clicking another referral link mid-signup. The later one overwrites the first.

What is this code actually worth?

Using Gate futures rates (taker 0.05%, maker 0.02%; see Gate's official futures fee announcement) at 70% taker / 30% maker, the blended rate is 0.041%:

Monthly volumeMonthly feeAt 20% (auto only)At 70% (bound to Fee Otter)Yearly gap

500,000 USDT205 USDT41143.5~1,230
2,000,000 USDT820 USDT164574~4,920

70% is tied with WEEX, XT.COM and Ourbit for the highest rate on this site because Gate's affiliate share is itself higher than the others and we pass the difference down. The effective rate calculator converts it to your numbers. If you're already a VIP on an exchange and want to rebind or sign up on another one, contact support: we can help you apply for special trading perks or a higher rebate rate.

Day traders who go in and out several times a day build up fees fastest, so the gap between rebate rates is magnified most for them; see the numbers in how much day traders save with a fee rebate.

Specific to Gate: one KYC covers up to five accounts

This makes Gate one of the easiest exchanges to rebind: no closure, no cooldown, no phone number. Register again with a new email address through our link and you are done; the original account can stay open.

The practical consequence is that an unbound Gate account costs almost nothing to fix. At Binance, OKX, Bybit and Bitget, once an account is past the official add-a-code window (30 days after signup at Binance, before any deposit or trade; 14 days at Bybit; OKX and Bitget publish no such route), there is no fix this cheap. Conditions are in the Gate rebind guide.

Does the code expire?

No. The relationship is written at account creation and is effectively permanent, with no expiry and no quota. Only the percentage can change.

Already registered without a code?

A Gate code cannot be added later, but Gate is one of the easiest exchanges to rebind: one KYC covers up to 5 accounts and no phone number is required. Register a fresh account with a new email address through our link. No closure, no cooldown.

Conditions are in the Gate rebind guide.

Why do different sources offer different rebates?

1. Direct partnership versus a resold sub-affiliate

We hold direct, long-term agreements with each exchange. Many codes online belong to individuals operating as sub-affiliates, and affiliate status is reviewed. If that person fails review or is downgraded, the rate their users receive is affected directly. You are bound to them, not to the exchange.

2. Whether they are still around

A common pattern: an individual code promises manual top-ups, pays for a few months, then stops answering, and a binding is almost impossible to change, so you stay locked in while still paying fees.

3. How much they give back

We pass most of the share to users and rely on the relationship lasting. Actual percentages are in the rate table above and shown live on the rebate platform (Fee Otter).

How Gate compares

FAQ

Which code do I use on Gate?

FEEOTTER. It is already built into the dedicated link.

How much does the Gate code earn?

70%: 20% automatic plus 50% extra from Fee Otter, tied with WEEX, XT.COM and Ourbit for the highest rate on this site. That is 3.5 times a typical 20% code, and 2.8 times a 25% one.

Can the code be added after registering?

No, but rebinding on Gate is straightforward: one KYC covers up to 5 accounts, so registering again with a new email is enough, with no closure required.

Does using a code cost more in fees?

No. You pay Gate's published rates either way; the code only determines how much comes back.

When does the rebate arrive?

Gate charges first and refunds later. Once your UID is bound, rebates are recorded on the rebate platform (Fee Otter).

I forgot to enter the code at signup. Can it be fixed?

Yes, and cheaply: one KYC covers up to five accounts, so registering again with a new email through our link (code FEEOTTER) is enough, and the original account is unaffected.

Why can Gate reach 70%?

Because Gate's affiliate share is structurally higher than the other exchanges'. We pass the surplus down rather than keeping it. The rate comes from the revenue split, not a promotion.

Does a rebate affect my VIP level?

No. VIP follows volume; a rebate is returned afterwards. They stack.

For every exchange's code and what distinguishes each one, see the crypto exchange referral code list. For how the Gate rebate is calculated and what it pays back each month, see the complete Gate fee rebate guide. Whether each exchange lets you add a code after signup, and how to rebind, is covered in the referral code late-entry and rebind rules by exchange.
