Binance vs Bitget 2026: Stock Perp Fees & Rebates

Binance vs Bitget stock perps: 0.05% vs 0.06% taker, 40% vs 50% fee rebate via Fee Otter (2–2.5x a typical 20% code), same 0.03% net taker.

For tokenized US stocks, Binance looks cheaper on paper (0.05% futures taker against Bitget's 0.06%), but bound through Fee Otter, Binance rebates 40% and Bitget 50%, so the net taker fee is 0.03% on both. What separates them is liquidity and order style: Binance has far more stock-perp volume, while traders who mostly post limit orders pay less on Bitget after the rebate (checked October 2026).

Quick verdict

  • More than double what common KOL codes pay: typical codes give 20% or 25%. When you bind through Fee Otter, Bitget's 50% is 2.5 times a 20% code, and Binance's 40% is 2 times.
  • Stock perp fees: maker is 0.02% on both; taker is 0.05% on Binance and 0.06% on Bitget. Binance runs its TradFi perpetuals on a separate fee schedule and currently has a 0% maker fee promotion (check the official announcement).
  • Net cost after rebate: at 500,000 USDT of monthly taker volume, both cost 150 USDT.
  • Mostly limit orders? Bitget: the net maker fee after rebate is 0.01% on Bitget, versus 0.012% on Binance.
  • Need volume? Binance: CL (crude oil) trades 319.8M a day against 23.4M, SPY 23.2M against 3.9M. On large orders, Bitget's slippage can wipe out any fee saving.
  • Rebate rates: when you bind through Fee Otter, Binance pays 40% and Bitget 50% (45% on spot). The Bitget referral code is FEEOTTER, built into the dedicated link.
  • Adding a code later: Binance allows it within 30 days if you have not deposited or traded; Bitget has no public way to do it, and deleting an account starts a 30-day cooldown.

Tokenized US stock fees: Binance vs Bitget, line by line

First, the question most people search for: what does it cost to trade tokenized US stock perpetuals (TSLA, NVDA, MSTR, SPY, CL crude oil and so on) on Binance and on Bitget? Both charge them like regular USDT-margined futures. The differences are the taker fee and the fee schedule:

Binance lists TradFi perpetuals on a separate TradFi fee page. The 0% maker fee is a time-limited promotion, so check the official announcement before you trade. Bitget charges its stock perps the standard futures rate of 0.02% / 0.06%. Listing counts come from each exchange's public API on 20 September 2026 and change daily.

500,000 USDT a month, all taker: what is left after the rebate

Same assumptions for both: 500,000 USDT of notional volume a month, all market orders. Binance monthly fees = 500,000 × 0.05% = 250 USDT; Bitget = 500,000 × 0.06% = 300 USDT.

How you bindBinance rebateBinance net monthly costBitget rebateBitget net monthly cost
No rebate0%250 USDT0%300 USDT
Typical KOL code20%200 USDT20%240 USDT
Through Fee Otter40%150 USDT50%150 USDT

Formula: net monthly cost = monthly fees × (1 − rebate rate). For example, Bitget: 300 × (1 − 50%) = 150 USDT; Binance: 250 × (1 − 40%) = 150 USDT. Bitget costs 20% more on paper, but its rebate is 10 points higher, so the net cost ends up the same. The bigger gap is between codes: with a typical 20% code you pay 200 USDT net on Binance and 240 on Bitget each month; through Fee Otter both come to 150 USDT, saving 50–90 USDT a month, or 600–1,080 USDT a year. With no rebate at all it is worse still: 100–150 USDT a month more (Binance 250 − 150, Bitget 300 − 150).

One trade: 2,500 USDT margin at 20x leverage

Notional position = 2,500 × 20 = 50,000 USDT. Opening with a market order costs 50,000 × 0.05% = 25 USDT on Binance and 50,000 × 0.06% = 30 USDT on Bitget. Through Fee Otter, Binance rebates 25 × 40% = 10 USDT, so you pay 15 USDT net; Bitget rebates 30 × 50% = 15 USDT, so you also pay 15 USDT net. With the fee identical, any extra slippage on Bitget makes Binance the cheaper choice; if your orders fill as maker on Bitget, every trade is cheaper there.

Liquidity: how much more volume on the same ticker

With fees roughly level, slippage is what separates the two. Here is the 24-hour notional volume (USDT) measured on 20 September 2026:

TickerBinanceBitgetBinance ÷ Bitget
CL (crude oil)319.8M23.4Mabout 13.7x
MSTR124.0M40.9Mabout 3.0x
SPY23.2M3.9Mabout 5.9x
NVDA18.0M5.1Mabout 3.5x
TSLA7.5M0.9Mabout 8.3x
AAPL5.1M0.3M17x

Binance leads on every ticker, but Bitget is not a thin venue: its MSTR (40.9M), SPY (3.9M) and NVDA (5.1M) volumes each rank second among the six exchanges measured, behind only Binance. If you mainly trade MSTR, Bitget's depth is usable; for CL, TSLA and AAPL, Binance's volume lead is too large to ignore. Binance also lists Hong Kong stocks (Tencent, Xiaomi, Lenovo and others) and some pre-IPO names that Bitget does not currently offer.

Do not forget funding. A perpetual position that stays open past a settlement pays or receives funding. That money has nothing to do with trading fees and earns no rebate. Across Binance's last 500 settlements, MSTR's funding rate was 28 times as volatile as BTC's and once hit −2.0000%; CL settles every 4 hours. For short-term trades fees are the main cost; for long holds funding can be an order of magnitude larger. It is the same on both exchanges, so it is not a reason to pick one, but it is a cost to plan for.

Full listing counts, volumes and funding statistics for each exchange are in the tokenized stock perpetual fee comparison.

Regular crypto: spot and futures fees

If you only trade BTC, ETH and other coins, these are the listed fees for regular users (VIP 0) on both:

USDT-M futures taker0.05%0.06%
Futures with platform tokenBNB about 10% offNot available

Fees verified on 2026-09-24 (each exchange's official fee schedule). · Methodology

  • Bitget's futures taker fee is 3 times its maker fee; on Binance it is 2.5 times. The bigger the ratio, the more you save by switching to limit orders.
  • BGB discounts apply only to spot and margin, not futures. BNB works on both, but only takes about 10% off futures.
  • Platform-token discounts and rebates stack: the token discount is applied first and the rebate is calculated on the discounted fee. The rebate amount gets smaller, but your total cost is lower.

Rebate structure when you bind through Fee Otter

Both rebates have two layers: the exchange automatically returns 20%, and Fee Otter pays an extra layer on top.

Layer 1 (exchange, automatic)20%20%
Layer 2 (Fee Otter extra)20%30% futures, 25% spot
Total40%50% futures, 45% spot

Fee Otter's code is an affiliate code on Binance, so the 12-month futures commission limit of Referral Pro Tier 0 does not apply. For where each layer comes from, see automatic vs extra rebate.

More than double what common KOL codes pay. Most Binance and Bitget referral codes you find online give 20% or 25%, and some are set to 0%. When you bind through Fee Otter, Bitget's 50% is 2.5 times 20%, and Binance's 40% is 2 times. On 1,000 USDT of monthly fees, a typical 20% code returns 200 USDT and a 25% code 250 USDT; binding through Fee Otter returns 400 USDT on Binance and 500 USDT on Bitget.

Formula: net fee = listed fee × (1 − rebate rate). For example, Bitget taker: 0.06% × (1 − 50%) = 0.03%; Binance maker: 0.02% × (1 − 40%) = 0.012%. Taker orders come out even, and Bitget is cheaper on maker orders.

Spot: platform-token discount first, then the rebate

Typical 20% code0.06%0.064%
Through Fee Otter0.045% (40% rebate)0.044% (45% spot rebate)

Formula: Binance = 0.075% × (1 − 40%) = 0.045%; Bitget = 0.08% × (1 − 45%) = 0.044%. Through Fee Otter, Bitget is slightly lower on spot, because its spot rebate is 5 points higher than Binance's, which more than offsets BGB's smaller discount compared with BNB.

Products and ecosystem: different strengths

  • Binance (founded 2017): the world's largest exchange by trading volume for years, with the deepest liquidity and the broadest range of coins and products. If you do spot, futures and earn products together, Binance is usually the "has everything" choice; beyond US stock perps it also lists Hong Kong stocks and some pre-IPO names.
  • Bitget (founded 2018): an early and deep player in copy trading. Its futures list includes tokenized US stocks and commodities (such as SOXL and XAU gold) alongside crypto. Traders pick it for the rebate rate and the range of instruments, since its listed fee is higher.
  • Rebates land in different places: since 2025-02-13, Binance's layer-1 20% is settled in USDC by default and paid to your Binance spot account; Bitget's layer-1 20% follows the fee currency, so USDT-M futures rebate in USDT. On both, layer 2 goes to your Fee Otter available balance, roughly T+1.

Adding a code later and rebinding: Binance has a buffer, Bitget does not

Not signed up yet? Get the code right first. Binance leaves a 30-day window to add a code if you have not deposited or traded. Bitget has no such route: if the code FEEOTTER is not on the account at signup, your only options later are deleting the account and waiting 30 days to register again. If you plan to open both, check that the referral field on Bitget is already filled in.

Full steps are in the Binance rebind guide and the Bitget rebind guide. If you have no account yet, see the Binance referral code and Bitget referral code pages.

Which one should you pick?

  • You trade CL, TSLA or AAPL, or you place large orders → Binance. Volume is 8–17 times higher, so slippage matters far more than fees, and limit orders may also qualify for the TradFi 0% maker promotion.
  • You mainly trade MSTR, NVDA or SPY with limit orders → Bitget. Its depth on these ranks second, and its net maker fee is lower than Binance's (0.01% vs 0.012%).
  • You mostly use market orders → the two are even at 0.03% net taker, so pick the interface you like.
  • You hold spot and are willing to hold the platform token → Bitget is slightly cheaper (0.044% vs 0.045%), but the gap is negligible; if coin coverage matters more, choose Binance.
  • You want copy trading → Bitget. It is the product Bitget built earliest and deepest.
  • Your Binance account is less than 30 days old, with no deposits or trades → add Fee Otter's code directly; no rebind needed.
  • You want both → bind both. You see both rebates in one dashboard.

Next step: whichever you choose, do not settle for a 20% code. If you have no account yet, sign up through Fee Otter's dedicated link (referral code FEEOTTER on both); the referral links and steps are on the Binance referral code and Bitget referral code pages. If you already have an account, follow the Binance rebind guide or the Bitget rebind guide to move it to Fee Otter. Once your UID is bound, rebates start from your next fee.

Frequently asked questions

Which is cheaper for US stock trading fees, Binance or Bitget?

Binance is cheaper on paper (0.05% vs 0.06% taker, 0.02% maker on both), but after the rebate they are nearly the same. When you bind through Fee Otter, the net taker is 0.03% on both. For maker orders Bitget is cheaper, while Binance has a time-limited 0% maker promotion on TradFi perpetuals.

Bitget's fees are higher, so why do people choose it?

Because its rebate is higher and its maker cost is lower. Bitget's futures rebate through Fee Otter is 50%, 10 points above Binance's 40%, which cancels out the 20% higher taker fee. Copy trading and depth on names like MSTR are the other reasons to pick Bitget.

Do both list the same tokenized US stocks?

No. Against Binance's 198 TradFi perpetuals, Bitget covers 177, about 89%. The gap is mostly in less-traded names; both list the major US stocks. Binance also has Hong Kong stocks and some pre-IPO names.

Do tokenized stock trades earn a fee rebate?

Yes. The rebate is calculated on the fees you pay, whatever the product: stock perps, crypto futures and spot all count. Only trades with no fee, such as Binance TradFi maker orders under the 0% promotion, produce no rebate.

If I use BNB or BGB to pay fees, is my rebate smaller?

The rebate amount is smaller, but your total cost is lower. The rebate is calculated on the discounted fee: Binance spot with BNB is 0.075%, or 0.045% after the Fee Otter rebate; Bitget spot with BGB is 0.08%, or 0.044% after the rebate. BGB only discounts spot and margin, not futures.

I already have a Bitget account. Can I add a referral code?

No, the Bitget exchange has no public way to add one later. To get a rebate you need to rebind: delete the account, wait out the 30-day cooldown and sign up again with the same email. China-ID KYC users can ask support to lift the cooldown. The "add a code within 7 days" rule you may see online is for Bitget Wallet, not the exchange.

Can I bind both Binance and Bitget for rebates?

Yes. On both, the referral code is built into Fee Otter's dedicated link (on both it is FEEOTTER). Binding only needs your UID, not an API key or password, and you see both rebates in one dashboard.

ⓘ Rates shown are for futures; spot: Bitget 45%.
