Ourbit has four VIP levels, VIP1, VIP2, VIP3 and Supreme VIP, and you qualify for a level by meeting either its total-assets or its 30-day futures volume threshold. 10,000 USDT in assets or 1 million USDT in monthly futures volume gets you VIP1, cutting the futures taker fee from 0.04% to 0.035%. Supreme VIP needs 200,000 USDT in assets or 20 million USDT a month and charges 0.01% for both maker and taker. The VIP table covers futures only; spot already defaults to 0 fees (Ourbit's official VIP page and public configuration data, checked 2026-10-17).
This guide covers Ourbit's VIP thresholds and rates, how assets and volume are counted, protection days, the 30-day trial for VIPs from other exchanges, OUR fee deduction, and a worked example of what you pay after a VIP discount plus a rebate. VIP takes assets or volume to earn, while a rebate applies to every trade once you bind: sign up with code FEEOTTER and bind through Fee Otter for a 70% futures rebate on Ourbit (50% automatic rebate from the exchange + 20% extra rebate), 3.5 times a typical 20% code.
Key points
- Four levels, either condition: every level is reached by total assets or by 30-day futures volume.
- Low bar for VIP1: 10,000 USDT in total assets, for 0.035% taker and 0.015% maker.
- Stablecoin volume excluded: Ourbit says USDC/USDT pairs and stablecoin futures volume don't count.
- Updated daily 0:00 to 8:00 (UTC+8); protection days are 5, 10, 15 and 20 for VIP1, VIP2, VIP3 and Supreme, but they protect benefits other than the fee rate.
- Trial for VIPs elsewhere: upload proof of VIP status from Binance, OKX, Bybit and others from the last 30 days; review takes 1 to 3 working days and approval gives 30 days of Ourbit VIP.
Ourbit VIP thresholds and futures fees
The table comes from the official configuration data behind the Ourbit VIP page. VIP0 rates come from Ourbit's public futures API, where all 753 perpetual contracts are 0.02% maker and 0.04% taker. Checked 2026-10-17.
| Level | Total assets (USDT) | Or 30-day futures volume (USDT) | Futures maker | Futures taker |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| VIP0 | - | - | 0.020% | 0.040% |
| VIP1 | ≥ 10,000 | ≥ 1 million | 0.015% | 0.035% |
| VIP2 | ≥ 50,000 | ≥ 5 million | 0.010% | 0.030% |
| VIP3 | ≥ 100,000 | ≥ 10 million | 0.010% | 0.020% |
| Supreme VIP (SuperVIP) | ≥ 200,000 | ≥ 20 million | 0.010% | 0.010% |
Taker cuts start small and grow: VIP0 to VIP1 saves 0.005 percentage points, VIP2 to VIP3 saves 0.01, and Supreme's 0.01% is a quarter of VIP0. Maker drops to 0.01% at VIP2 and stays there. The VIP page tagline says "up to 50% off trading fees", yet by the table Supreme's taker fee is 75% below VIP0, so the two don't match; your fills are what count. For the maker/taker distinction see maker vs taker fees.
The VIP page also notes that rates vary by region. Check the rate shown on your account's fee page after logging in.
Spot fees
The VIP table has no spot column. Ourbit's public default-rate endpoint shows spot maker and taker at 0, and the fee page states that 12 pairs will stay at 0: BTC/USDT, ETH/USDT, XRP/USDT, DOGE/USDT, ETH/BTC, XRP/BTC, XRP/ETH, TON/USDT, BTC/USDC, ETH/USDC, XRP/USDC and DOGE/USDC. For other pairs, check the trading page. No spot fee means no spot rebate either; Ourbit rebates come from futures.
How assets and volume are counted
From the VIP page's benefit rules:
- Total assets: a random snapshot taken between 0:00 yesterday and 0:00 today (UTC+8), not a fixed time.
- Volume: 30-day futures volume, and USDC/USDT pairs and stablecoin futures volume are excluded.
- Update time: levels and benefits are settled and updated daily between 0:00 and 8:00 (UTC+8); with large data volumes the update can run late.
- Either condition: assets and volume are judged separately, and meeting one threshold is enough.
Protection days cover benefits other than fees
Ourbit says that within the protection period after a new level takes effect, your level won't be downgraded, and you can still be upgraded automatically if you qualify; during that period your level is re-evaluated and drops if you no longer meet it. The periods are 5 days for VIP1, 10 for VIP2, 15 for VIP3 and 20 for Supreme. Ourbit's public configuration data lists 6, 11, 16 and 21 days, one more than the page text for each level.
The key line: Ourbit states that protection days apply only to VIP benefits other than the discounted fee rate. So the protection keeps things like the VIP badge and support channel, not the fee discount. If an asset snapshot falls just under the threshold, your fee may drop back a level first; if you qualify by assets, keep a buffer.
VIP benefits
The VIP page lists: VIP fee rates, a VIP badge, higher withdrawal limits, a priority deposit and withdrawal channel, 24/7 VIP support, access to selected project subscriptions, priority invitations to offline events, VIP airdrops and merchandise. It gives no figure for the higher withdrawal limit. Regular limits are 30 BTC unverified and 200 BTC after KYC, per 24 hours; see Ourbit KYC verification.
VIP elsewhere? Apply for a 30-day trial
The "free VIP upgrade" rules on the VIP page:
- Eligibility: VIP users of platforms such as Binance, OKX, Bybit, BingX, Bitunix, MEXC, KuCoin, Gate, Bitget and BitMart whose VIP level, assets or volume over the past 30 days meets Ourbit VIP1 or above.
- Proof: valid evidence from the last 30 days, such as another exchange's VIP page, an asset screenshot or a volume report; PNG, JPG or JPEG, up to 10 MB each, at most 3 files.
- Review: 1 to 3 working days; the level is matched to your evidence.
- Validity: approval gives a 30-day Ourbit VIP trial with the level fixed for that period, then the system re-assesses.
If you trade large volume and want to know what else can be arranged, you can also contact Fee Otter support first.
OUR deduction and OUR holding discount
The fee page describes two ways to cut futures fees with the platform token OUR. The rules are public, but the discount ratios only show after login; the public pages give no figures:
- OUR deduction: moving OUR into the futures account switches it on, and futures fees are then paid in OUR at a discount. It switches off when the OUR runs out. Turning it off moves all OUR in the futures account back to spot.
- OUR spot holding: holding at least a set amount of OUR in spot for a set number of recent days gives a futures fee discount. Holdings are judged by the smallest of three random daily snapshots; the discount starts at 00:00 (UTC+8) the next day, and main and sub-accounts are counted separately.
- No stacking: only one applies, and the holding discount takes priority.
Separately, Ourbit's futures fee voucher rules say fees covered by promotional vouchers earn no rebate. Ourbit doesn't say whether fees paid through OUR deduction count for rebates; check your rebate statement.
Rebates after a VIP upgrade: what you actually pay
Rebates are calculated on the fees you actually pay. VIP lowers the fee, so the rebate is applied to the lower fee:
Effective rate = VIP fee rate × (1 − rebate rate)
Using Ourbit's futures taker rates and Fee Otter's 70% futures rebate:
| Scenario | List taker | Calculation | Effective taker |
|---|---|---|---|
| VIP0, no rebate | 0.040% | - | 0.040% |
| VIP0 + typical 20% code | 0.040% | 0.04% × (1 − 20%) | 0.032% |
| VIP0 + Fee Otter 70% | 0.040% | 0.04% × (1 − 70%) | 0.012% |
| VIP1 + Fee Otter 70% | 0.035% | 0.035% × (1 − 70%) | 0.0105% |
| VIP2 + Fee Otter 70% | 0.030% | 0.03% × (1 − 70%) | 0.009% |
| VIP3, no rebate | 0.020% | - | 0.020% |
| Supreme VIP, no rebate | 0.010% | - | 0.010% |
VIP0 with the 70% rebate comes to 0.012%, below VIP3 without a rebate at 0.02% and only 0.002 points above Supreme VIP at 0.01%. The VIP page doesn't say that VIP levels change the rebate rate; current rates are on the Fee Otter rebate rates page.
In money terms: 5 million USDT of futures volume in a month, all taker, is exactly VIP2. At VIP0 rates that costs 2,000 USDT; at VIP2 it costs 1,500 USDT. Fee Otter's 70% returns 1,050 USDT of that, for a net 450 USDT. A typical 20% code at VIP2 returns 300, for a net 1,200 USDT.
These are estimates from list rates; your fills and rebate statement are what count. Rebates apply to trading fees only, not funding or liquidation; settlement is explained in how fee rebates are settled. If you are already a VIP at an exchange and want to switch or open another one, contact support and we can help request special trading benefits or a higher rebate rate.
Which route to VIP?
- Under 1 million USDT monthly volume and under 10,000 USDT in assets: bind a rebate first; it does far more than VIP1's 0.005 points.
- Already holding 10,000 to 50,000 USDT on the account: assets alone get you VIP1 or VIP2 without chasing volume. The snapshot time is random, so keep the balance above the line.
- Bots doing tens of millions a month: VIP3 brings taker to 0.02% and Supreme to 0.01%, and the rebate widens the gap. Stablecoin futures volume doesn't count, so check what your strategy trades.
- VIP at another exchange: apply for the 30-day trial; the volume you trade during it may qualify you outright.
Ourbit's two-layer rebate and amounts by volume are in the Ourbit fee rebate guide, and VIP thresholds across exchanges are compared in crypto exchange VIP fee comparison. If you haven't signed up, register with FEEOTTER (how to register on Ourbit) and submit your UID on the Fee Otter rebate platform; existing users should see the Ourbit rebind guide.
