The Fee Otter referral code for Ourbit is FEEOTTER, and it is already built into our link. Sign up with it and Ourbit automatically returns 50% of your fees; bind your UID on Fee Otter and you get another 20% on top, 70% in total. That is 3.5× a typical 20% code (checked October 2026).
Ourbit charges nothing on spot, so the whole rebate comes from futures. The futures taker fee is 0.04%, and after a 70% rebate you pay 0.012%, less than half of what Binance or Bybit cost after rebates through the same channel. Ourbit goes up to 500× leverage, and the higher the leverage, the bigger the share of your margin that fees eat, so the rebate gap grows with it.
What is the Ourbit referral code?
The code is FEEOTTER (upper case). The link below already includes it; if you sign up manually, type it into the code field yourself.
Are a referral code and an invite code the same thing?
Yes. Referral code, invite code and 邀請碼 all mean the same field at sign-up. Our code is FEEOTTER; entering it exactly as written is the safest choice.
Where do I enter the code?
- Open the Ourbit sign-up page through our referral link.
- Enter your email or phone number.
- Check that the code field says FEEOTTER; if it is empty, type it in.
- Finish the verification code and password steps.
The code can only be entered at sign-up. It cannot be added once the account exists, so check it before you submit. Screens for each step are in the Ourbit sign-up guide.
How do I check the code was applied?
If the code did not stick, you get no rebate. Check it this way:
- At sign-up: before you submit, look at the referral code field and make sure it says FEEOTTER. Signing up through our link fills it in for you.
- Bind your UID on Fee Otter: enter your Ourbit UID on the Fee Otter rebate site. Once your Ourbit account starts trading and pays a fee, we review it at 16:00 (UTC+8) the next day. When it passes, the status changes to "Verified".
If you trade large volumes and want to confirm before your first trade, contact support and we will check it by hand. If the code did not stick, see the Ourbit rebinding guide for your options.
How much does the code earn?
The rebate comes in two layers from two different payers:
| Layer | Paid by | Rate | Condition |
| Layer 1: auto-rebate | Ourbit | 50% (spot and futures) | Sign up with the code |
| Layer 2: extra rebate | Rebate platform (Fee Otter) | 20% | Bind your UID on the rebate site |
We set the exchange-side auto-rebate to the highest Ourbit allows. Ourbit settles this layer itself; it does not pass through Fee Otter.
Worked example: monthly futures volume to rebate
Using Ourbit's regular futures rates (maker 0.02%, taker 0.04%) and a 70% taker / 30% maker mix, the blended rate is 0.7 × 0.04% + 0.3 × 0.02% = 0.034%:
| Monthly futures volume | Monthly fees | Typical 20% code, back per month | Our code at 70%, back per month | Extra per year |
| 100,000 USDT | 34 USDT | 6.8 USDT | 23.8 USDT | 204 USDT |
| 500,000 USDT | 170 USDT | 34 USDT | 119 USDT | 1,020 USDT |
| 2,000,000 USDT | 680 USDT | 136 USDT | 476 USDT | 4,080 USDT |
Rate source: Ourbit's official futures API (BTC_USDT perpetual, makerFeeRate 0.0002, takerFeeRate 0.0004), checked 2026-10-13. Formula: extra per year = monthly fees × (70% − 20%) × 12. The 20% part of the 70% requires a bound UID; without it you get 50%.
At high leverage, how much margin do fees eat?
Say you open 100× on 1,000 USDT of margin, a 100,000 USDT position, with market orders in and out:
- Fees: 100,000 × 0.04% × 2 = 80 USDT, 8% of your margin.
- Typical 20% code: you pay 64 USDT, 6.4% of margin.
- Our code at 70%: you pay 24 USDT, 2.4% of margin.
On the same trade, a typical code needs a 6.4% gain on margin just to cover fees; ours needs 2.4%. The higher you go, the wider the gap, which is why high-leverage traders should care most about the rebate rate, and should also think hardest about liquidation risk.
Ourbit fees
| Type | Maker | Taker | After a 70% rebate |
| Spot | 0% | 0% | 0% |
| Futures | 0.02% | 0.04% | maker 0.006%, taker 0.012% |
Sources: Ourbit's official spot and futures APIs (checked 2026-10-13) and the Ourbit announcement of 3 September 2024 (zero spot fees, futures fees unchanged). Spot has no fee to begin with, so the rebate in practice comes from futures.
Compared with other exchanges: futures taker after rebate
| Exchange | Futures taker | Rebate through Fee Otter | You pay after rebate |
| Ourbit | 0.04% | 70% | 0.012% |
| BingX | 0.05% | 45% | 0.0275% |
| Binance | 0.05% | 40% | 0.03% |
| Bybit | 0.055% | 40% | 0.033% |
Each exchange's rate is the regular public rate from our rebate guides. Formula: you pay = taker × (1 − rebate rate). Ourbit's edge is a low fee with a high rebate; the trade-off is regulation and size, covered in the risks section. The full comparison is in exchange fee and rebate comparison.
Three common mistakes
- Not using our link: submitting with an empty code field, which cannot be fixed later.
- Clicking another referral link midway: if you open another link with a code before sign-up finishes, the later one overwrites ours. Pick one and finish from that link.
- Entering the code but not binding your UID: without a bound UID you get only Ourbit's 50%; Fee Otter's 20% starts once you bind.
What kind of exchange is Ourbit?
Ourbit was founded in 2020 and is registered in the British Virgin Islands. It is known for fast meme-coin listings and up to 500× leverage on major futures such as BTC and ETH. In CoinGecko's derivatives ranking by open interest it was 22nd in September 2026. You can trade without KYC; unverified accounts can withdraw 30 BTC per 24 hours, rising to 200 BTC after advanced verification (Ourbit KYC levels, 2026-08-25 version). For reserve ratios and how to verify your own balance, see Ourbit proof of reserves.
Can I add the code after sign-up?
No. The code can only be entered at sign-up; existing accounts cannot add one. If you did not enter a code, sign up again through our link with an email or phone number not yet registered on Ourbit; contact support for anything else. Steps are in the Ourbit rebinding guide, and every exchange's add-later rules are in referral code not working.
Risks to know before using Ourbit
Before you start trading, know this:
- No major financial licence: Ourbit is registered in the British Virgin Islands and is not supervised by a major financial regulator. Its CoinGecko trust score is 8/10. On Trustpilot some users report slow withdrawal reviews and frozen accounts (few reviews, for reference only).
- Don't keep long-term or large holdings on an exchange: Ourbit is for funds you are actively trading. Withdraw money you are not using or plan to hold long term.
- Use a cold wallet for long-term holdings: move large, long-term assets to a hardware wallet (such as Ledger) and keep them offline.
- Futures and high leverage are high risk: Ourbit offers up to 500× on major futures such as BTC and ETH. Beginners should avoid high leverage and start small.
In short, Ourbit is a tool for active trading; keep long-term, large holdings in a cold wallet.
FAQ
What is the Ourbit referral code?
FEEOTTER, already built into our link.
What is Ourbit's auto-rebate?
50%, returned by Ourbit straight to your account, the same on spot and futures. Bind your UID and Fee Otter adds 20%, 70% in total.
Is there a rebate on spot?
Ourbit spot is 0% maker and taker. With no fee there is nothing to return, so the rebate in practice comes from futures.
Do I pay more in fees because I used a code?
No. The code does not change your fee rate; the rebate returns part of the fees you already paid.
What are futures fees after the rebate?
Taker 0.04% × 30% = 0.012%, maker 0.02% × 30% = 0.006%. Without a bound UID the rebate is 50%, and taker costs 0.02%.
Can I use the code without KYC?
Yes. The code is bound at sign-up and has nothing to do with KYC. Unverified Ourbit accounts can trade and withdraw 30 BTC per 24 hours.
