HTX Referral Code FEEOTTER: 50% Fee Rebate (2026)

HTX referral code FEEOTTER through Fee Otter: 50% on futures (30% from HTX plus 20% from Fee Otter). Where it goes, and why it matters on 0.2% spot fees.

Fee Otter's HTX (formerly Huobi) referral code is FEEOTTER. Sign up through the dedicated link and HTX automatically returns 30% of your fees; bind your UID and Fee Otter adds 20%, for a 50% total futures rebate, 2.5 times a typical 20% code (checked October 2026). Full rates and evidence: referral codes and rebate rates by exchange.

The HTX referral code (invite code) is FEEOTTER, and it is built into the dedicated link. Sign up through that link and the code fills in automatically, so just check the field before you submit.

HTX is the exchange formerly known as Huobi. Sign up with this code and HTX automatically returns 30% of your fees; bind your UID with Fee Otter and a 20% extra rebate stacks on top. Most referral codes out there pay 20% (some 25%); with your UID bound on Fee Otter, the code pays 50%, 2.5 times a typical code. On 1,000 USDT of monthly fees, a typical 20% code returns 200 USDT; ours returns 500 USDT.

What is the HTX referral code?

The code is FEEOTTER. It is built into the dedicated link: sign up with the button below and it fills in automatically. If the main domain does not open, use the backup link.

This is the actual HTX signup page opened through our link, with the code already filled in. Plenty of codes that advertise high rebates come without a single screenshot, and people only find out after signing up that no rebate arrives. We put up each exchange's signup page or dashboard so you can check before you register.

Referral code, invite code, referral ID: the same thing?

Yes. HTX's English signup page calls the field "Referral Code (Optional)", other pages say invite code, some people say referral ID, and the invite codes from the Huobi days worked the same way. Different names, same thing: the string that decides which referrer your account belongs to.

On HTX the name does not matter; what matters is signing up through Fee Otter's dedicated link.

Where do I enter it?

The referral field on HTX's signup page is collapsed by default, so you can't see what's in it until you open it:

  1. Open the signup page through the link above and enter your email or phone number.
  2. Click "Referral Code (Optional)" to expand the field.
  3. Check that FEEOTTER has filled in; if the field is empty, reopen the link above.
  4. Click "Next" and finish verification.

Through the dedicated link, the referral field already holds Fee Otter's code, and the page states the 30% right under the headline:

Signing up on your phone works the same way. Per HTX's official sign-up guide, the app starts from the "Me" page under Log In / Sign Up, with the same flow as the web:

  1. Open the HTX app, go to "Me" and tap Log In / Sign Up.
  2. Choose email or phone, set a login password and pass the verification.
  3. Expand the referral field to check it. Signing up directly in the app does not fill in the code, so use this page's dedicated link in your phone's browser instead.
  4. Once registered, copy your numeric UID from the personal center (account info) and bind it on the Fee Otter rebate site.

How do I check the code was applied?

If the code did not stick, you get no rebate. Check it this way:

  1. At sign-up: before you submit, look at the referral code field and make sure it says FEEOTTER. Signing up through our link fills it in for you.
  2. Bind your UID on Fee Otter: enter your HTX UID on the Fee Otter rebate site. After you submit it, we check HTX's referral list, the first time within about 5 minutes. If you are under our code, the status changes to "Verified" and we email you. If it still says "Pending review" after 5 hours, your UID is not on the list: check that you signed up with FEEOTTER, or contact support.

If you trade large volumes and want to confirm before your first trade, contact support and we will check it by hand. If the code did not stick, see the HTX rebinding guide for your options.

What kind of exchange is HTX?

HTX started as Huobi, founded in 2013, and announced its rebrand to HTX on 13 September 2023; see HTX's official rebrand announcement.

How much does it earn?

The two layers combined pay 50%, 2.5 times a typical 20% code. In two layers:

  • Layer one: a 30% auto-rebate, set on HTX's side and returned by HTX straight to your account, without going through us.
  • Layer two: Fee Otter's extra rebate, 20% (15% on spot) added once your UID is bound.

We set the exchange-side automatic rebate to the highest the exchange allows. That layer is settled by the exchange automatically, without going through Fee Otter. Below is our HTX affiliate backend setting for that code: the friend spot and futures reward ratios are both 30%.

How much more does Fee Otter's code pay than common 20% / 25% codes?

Here is the combined rate when you bind through Fee Otter, side by side with the 20% and 25% codes you commonly find (on 1,000 USDT of monthly fees):

CodeFutures rebateSpot rebateReturned per month (futures)vs 20% codevs 25% code
Fee Otter (UID bound)50%45%500 USDT2.5×2×
Common 20% code20%20%200 USDTn/an/a

On the same 1,000 USDT of monthly futures fees, that is 3,600 USDT more per year than a common 20% code.

If you are already a VIP on an exchange and want to rebind or sign up on another exchange, contact support. We can help you apply for special trading benefits or a higher rebate rate.

Spot-only still pays. At 100,000 USDT of spot volume a month, fees are 200 USDT: a common 20% code returns 40 USDT, Fee Otter's code returns 90 USDT at the 45% spot rate, 2.25× the common code.

0.2% spot fees make the rebate count for more

At the same 100,000 USDT a month, HTX spot fees come to 200 USDT, more than four times the 48 USDT futures figure above, and layer one alone returns 60 USDT a month. On HTX spot, fees are the biggest cost you pay, and the rebate grows with them.

If you trade mostly spot at size, put HTX's 0.2% side by side with other exchanges' listed fees before deciding where your main account lives. Fees and codes for other exchanges are in the referral code list for major exchanges.

What about new-user bonuses?

Under HTX's official referral rules, invited new users can join a Mystery Box worth up to 1,500 USDT and/or a Welcome Bonus Pack worth up to 1,200 USDT. These usually come with deposit or volume conditions, are mostly trial funds or vouchers that expire if unused, and the actual terms are whatever HTX's campaign page says.

A sign-up bonus is paid once; the rebate is paid every month. What shapes your long-term cost is the fee and rebate on every single trade.

The four ways people get this wrong

  • Clicking Next without expanding the field. "Referral Code (Optional)" is collapsed by default; open it and check that FEEOTTER is there before submitting.
  • Assuming it can be added later. The code must go in at signup; it cannot be added once the account exists.
  • Entering the code but not binding the UID. The code goes in at HTX; the UID is bound separately on Fee Otter, and skipping that step leaves the rebate incomplete.
  • Binding the wrong UID. The UID is your numeric account number, not a nickname, email or phone number.

Already have an HTX account?

The code cannot be backfilled or changed. To rebind, register a new account through the dedicated link: withdrawals work without KYC up to 2 BTC per day, and L1 basic verification makes them unlimited. See the HTX rebind guide.

Is rebinding worth it? On 500 USDT of monthly fees, switching from a common 20% code to Fee Otter's code returns 150 USDT more a month on futures, 1,800 USDT a year. A new account can trade without KYC and withdraw 2 BTC a day; L1 basic verification only asks for nationality, ID number, surname and given name as on your ID (labelled 中文姓/中文名 in the Chinese interface) and date of birth, with no face scan or ID photo.

Which exchanges allow adding a code after signup, and how to rebind on each, is summarised in the referral code backfill and rebind rules by exchange.

How is the extra rebate paid?

Fee Otter pays the extra rebate as on-chain USDT on BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) to an address you own; your HTX USDT deposit address on the BEP20 network works too. The minimum is 1 USDT per request, the 0.015 USDT network fee is borne by you, and there is no cap on requests (one at a time); every payout can be checked on BscScan.

How HTX compares

Next step: sign up with Fee Otter's code

No HTX account yet: use the button on this page or follow the HTX registration guide, check that FEEOTTER is in the field before submitting, then bind your UID on the rebate site. Already on HTX without Fee Otter's code? Follow the rebind guide and register again through the dedicated link; the rebate starts as soon as you trade. Full steps are in the HTX rebind guide, and what it returns per month is in the HTX fee rebate guide.

Frequently asked questions

Are HTX and Huobi the same exchange?

Yes. Huobi was founded in 2013 and renamed HTX in 2023.

Are the HTX referral code and invite code the same thing?

Yes. HTX's signup page labels the field "Referral Code (Optional)", and the dedicated link fills in FEEOTTER for you.

Who pays the 30%?

HTX. Layer one's 30% is returned by HTX directly to your account; layer two is the extra rebate Fee Otter pays. The difference is explained in auto-rebate vs extra rebate.

What do I do after using the code?

Bind your HTX UID on the Fee Otter rebate site. The code decides layer one's 30%; layer two only starts once your UID is bound. How and when rebates are paid is covered in how fee rebates are settled.

Can I add a referral code after signing up on HTX?

No. HTX has no public channel for adding a code later, and the referral link cannot be changed once set; if you already have an account, the rebind method is to register a new account through the dedicated link, as set out in the HTX rebind guide.

How much more is Fee Otter's code than a common 20% code?

Bound through Fee Otter, our code pays 50% on futures and 45% on spot; on 1,000 USDT of monthly futures fees that is 300 USDT more a month.

Where is HTX not available?

Under the HTX user agreement (updated 2026-09), Hong Kong and mainland China users are excluded from the service entirely, and users in some other regions cannot use derivatives. Check which products are available in your region before you sign up.

Is binding my UID safe?

Yes. Binding needs only the UID, with no API key, password or withdrawal permission, so Fee Otter cannot touch the assets in your account; the extra rebate is sent as on-chain USDT (BEP20) to an address you provide.
