What it is and who it suits
Formerly Huobi, a long-standing exchange founded in 2013 with a wide spot selection. Best for spot-focused traders and anyone who uses the HTX token to pay fees.
How it differs from the others
Sign up through the dedicated link. Spot list fees are high at 0.2%, but the HTX token takes 25% off spot and 10% off futures, on top of a rebate of up to 50%.
Common pitfalls
- The optional invite-code field on the signup page is collapsed by default; expand it and check the dedicated link has filled it in.
- One set of real-name details can verify only one account.
- Without KYC you can withdraw only 2 BTC a day; the limit goes away after L1 basic verification.
How existing users rebind
A code cannot be added or changed after signup. Sign up for a new account through the dedicated link; it can trade and withdraw without KYC, and L1 basic verification (no face scan or ID photo) lifts the withdrawal limit.
Full HTX rebind guide →What you actually get back: three monthly volumes
At the HTX futures taker fee of 0.06%, this is the monthly fee, the rebate returned through Fee Otter and the net fee after rebate for 100K, 1M and 10M USDT of futures volume a month.
| Monthly futures volume | Fee | Back via Fee Otter | Net fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| 100K USDT | 60 | 30 | 30 |
| 1M USDT | 600 | 300 | 300 |
| 10M USDT | 6,000 | 3,000 | 3,000 |
Over a year, 1M USDT of futures volume a month returns about 3,600 USDT.
All volume is priced at the taker rate, excluding platform-token discounts and funding. A higher maker share lowers the fee, and the rebate scales with the fee actually paid.
