BTCC Fee Rebate 2026: Futures Taker Drops to 0.022% Net

BTCC refunds 60% of futures fees with code FEEOTTER: taker 0.055% becomes 0.022%, maker 0.012%. A 20x trade and five monthly volumes worked out.

Sign up for BTCC with code FEEOTTER and you get a 60% rebate on futures trading fees, all refunded automatically by BTCC, three times a typical 20% code. A regular (VIP0) futures taker fee of 0.055% becomes 0.022% after the rebate, and the 0.03% maker fee becomes 0.012%. On 1,000 USDT of futures fees a month, a typical code returns 200 USDT and FEEOTTER returns 600 USDT. Spot trades get no rebate (rebate rate checked 2026-10-31).

BTCC is mainly a USDT perpetual futures exchange. Its 0.055% futures taker fee matches Bybit and sits slightly above the 0.05% at Binance and OKX. When list fees are this close, the rebate rate decides most of your long-run cost. Below: the fees, how the rebate works, one leveraged trade, and five monthly volumes.

Quick summary

  • 60% futures rebate: refunded automatically by BTCC once you sign up with code FEEOTTER. No UID binding.
  • No spot rebate: BTCC's fee page lists spot at 0.3% taker and 0.2% maker, and the code only refunds futures fees.
  • Net futures taker rate 0.022%: 0.055% × (1 − 60%), against 0.044% with a typical 20% code.
  • 500,000 USDT of futures volume a month: about 1,140 USDT more per year than a typical 20% code (70% taker, 30% maker).

VIP levels update daily at 17:00 UTC. All nine levels, withdrawal fees and liquidation fees are in BTCC fees. Two things to note:

  • VIP1 is cheap to reach: 200 USDT in assets lowers the taker fee to 0.05%, and the rebate stays at 60%.
  • Taker costs almost twice maker (0.055 ÷ 0.03). Most people enter and exit with market orders, so taker fees are the bulk of the bill.

How the BTCC rebate works: 60% refunded by the exchange

BTCC charges the full fee when you trade and refunds the rebate afterwards. Through our code there is only one layer:

LayerWho paysRateCondition
Automatic rebateBTCC, into your account60%Sign up with code FEEOTTER
Fee Otter extra rebateNone0%Not offered on BTCC; binding your UID adds nothing

Sign up with FEEOTTER and BTCC automatically refunds 60% of your futures fees. BTCC's public FAQs about referral commissions say cashback is paid in USDT. BTCC doesn't publish how often futures cashback is credited, so go by Assets → Fund history in your account. The BTCC records in your Fee Otter dashboard are imported from exchange data and may show up later than in your BTCC account in the first weeks. The difference between automatic and extra rebates is explained in automatic vs extra rebates.

The code refunds futures fees only. Spot gets no rebate, TradFi CFDs are listed at 0 fees so there is nothing to refund, funding is paid between longs and shorts and is not a fee, and BTCC doesn't say whether the liquidation fee counts.

Your real rate after the rebate

One formula: net rate = list rate × (1 − rebate rate).

Level and codeFutures takerFutures maker
VIP0, no code0.055%0.03%
VIP0, typical 20% code0.044%0.024%
VIP0, FEEOTTER (60%)0.022%0.012%
VIP1, FEEOTTER (60%)0.02%0.01%

For every 10,000 USDT of taker volume on BTCC, a typical 20% code leaves you paying 4.4 USDT; FEEOTTER leaves 2.2 USDT.

Against Bybit, which has the same taker fee: Bybit's regular-user futures fees are 0.055% taker and 0.02% maker (Bybit fee page, checked 2026-10-22), and its 40% rebate through Fee Otter gives a net 0.033% taker and 0.012% maker. BTCC with FEEOTTER is lower on taker at 0.022%, and both are 0.012% on maker. The Bybit numbers are in our Bybit fee rebate guide, and every exchange side by side is in the fee rebate comparison.

One 20x trade: what the rebate changes

Put 2,500 USDT of margin into a 20x position, a notional 50,000 USDT, and open and close with market orders. Each side costs 50,000 × 0.055% = 27.5 USDT, so the round trip is 55 USDT.

  • Typical 20% code: 11 USDT back, 44 USDT net, 1.76% of your margin.
  • FEEOTTER (60%): 33 USDT back, 22 USDT net, 0.88% of your margin.

The higher the leverage, the bigger the fee is as a share of your margin. On this trade you need a 1.76% gain on margin to cover fees with a typical code, and 0.88% with FEEOTTER. BTCC's liquidation rule and liquidation fee (1% on the main contracts) are covered in the BTCC futures guide.

Five monthly volumes

Using a VIP0 blended rate of 0.0475% (0.7 × 0.055% + 0.3 × 0.03%):

Monthly futures volumeMonthly feesTypical 20% code returnsFEEOTTER returns (60%)
100,000 USDT47.5 USDT9.528.5
500,000 USDT237.5 USDT47.5142.5
2,000,000 USDT950 USDT190570
5,000,000 USDT2,375 USDT4751,425
10,000,000 USDT4,750 USDT9502,850

At 500,000 USDT of futures volume a month, a typical 20% code returns 570 USDT a year and FEEOTTER returns 1,710 USDT, 1,140 USDT more. The gap scales with volume: at 2,000,000 USDT a month it is 4,560 USDT a year. The formula is monthly fees × (60% − 20%) × 12. More on the method in perpetual fees after rebate.

Already have a BTCC account?

What BTCC's official pages say (checked 2026-10-31): the registration guide says a referral counts only if the account was opened through the link or code, and the help center describes no way to add a code later or change your referrer. The KYC FAQ says verified identity information cannot be transferred to another account (Why complete KYC verification). The user agreement lists multiple accounts and registering in someone else's name as grounds for suspension.

So an existing account has no published way to switch to FEEOTTER. Ask BTCC live chat if you want to try, and don't open a new account with someone else's identity. Every exchange's rules are in our exchange rebind rules table.
