Signing up for XT.COM takes six steps: open the official signup page through our dedicated link, choose the Email or Mobile tab, check that "Referral Code (Optional)" shows referral code FEEOTTER with a check mark, accept the terms and submit, enter the verification code, and bind your UID. KYC isn't required: you can trade, deposit, and withdraw without it. Through Fee Otter, the XT.COM rebate is 70% (60% automatic from XT.COM + 10% extra from Fee Otter), 3.5 times a typical 20% code (checked October 2026).
What does the XT.COM signup page look like?
The XT.COM "Create an account" form has two tabs at the top, Email and Mobile. Right below is "Referral Code (Optional)", and you don't need to expand anything. When you arrive through our dedicated link, the field is already filled in with a check mark. On the right is the signup page XT.COM set up for us, which states "60% Auto-Rebate from XT.COM". On the website, start from "Sign Up" in the top-right corner. In the app, go to "Get Started" → "Sign Up Now" on the home screen (see the XT.COM official signup guide).
What do you need before signing up?
- An email address or phone number that has never been registered on XT.COM.
- No ID needed. Spot and futures work without KYC. You only need it for fiat or P2P.
- An authenticator app, so you can turn on 2FA right after signup.
- If you plan to move assets from an old account, check the withdrawal limit first and move large amounts over several days.
Step 1: Open the signup page through the dedicated link
If you see "60% Auto-Rebate from XT.COM" on the right, you came in through the right link.
Step 2: Choose Email or Mobile and enter your account
Step 3: Check that the referral code is filled in with a check mark
XT.COM doesn't let you add a code after signup. This field is your only chance.
Step 4: Accept the User Agreement and Privacy Policy, then tap Sign Up
Step 5: Get the verification code and set a password
Step 6: Bind your UID
The number under your avatar is your UID. Go to the Fee Otter rebate dashboard, choose XT.COM, and paste it in.
Unverified XT.COM accounts can trade, deposit, and withdraw normally. Unverified accounts can withdraw up to 200,000 USDT a day (per XT.COM's official Withdrawal Limit Guide). Only fiat and P2P require KYC. So if you only trade spot and futures, like most people, you can start trading right after signup. Ways to fund the account and withdrawal fees by network are in XT.COM deposits and withdrawals, and leverage and liquidation rules in the XT.COM futures guide.
XT.COM lists many coins and covers a wide range of small caps, and you can trade, deposit, and withdraw without KYC. It suits you if you trade small-cap coins or don't want to verify your identity.
List fees are on the high side (0.2% on spot, 0.04%/0.06% on futures), but the rebate is 70% (45% on spot), so the net fee after the rebate drops sharply. Always compare by net fee.
These are the list fees for regular XT.COM users. The 0.2% spot fee is on the high side:
| Trade type | Maker | Taker | Notes |
| Spot | 0.20% | 0.20% | Same as HTX, same rate for maker and taker |
| USDT-margined futures | 0.04% | 0.06% | Taker is the same as Bitget |
Fees verified: 2026-09-24 (XT.COM official fee page) · Data sources and methodology
Market orders are always taker. The 0.06% futures taker fee is the same as Bitget and HTX (MEXC and Ourbit 0.04%; Binance/OKX/Gate/Pionex 0.05%; Bybit 0.055%; WEEX 0.08%). The 0.2% spot fee is the same as HTX and double the 0.10% at major exchanges. This table shows VIP0 list prices as of September 22, 2026. XT.COM may change them. For the latest fees, see the XT.COM official fee page.
The list fee is only the starting point. The "net taker" fee after you bind for rebates is what you actually pay on every futures market order (net fee = list fee × (1 − rebate rate)):
| Exchange | Futures taker list fee | Net taker after binding |
| XT.COM | 0.06% | 0.018% |
| WEEX | 0.08% | 0.024% |
| Gate | 0.05% | 0.015% |
| MEXC | 0.04% | 0.016% |
On net taker alone, Gate (0.015%) and MEXC (0.016%) are both lower than XT.COM (0.018%). The reasons to choose XT.COM are usually outside fees: products, liquidity, or features you already use.
Data from the September 2026 Exchange Fee and Rebate Index (fees verified 2026-09-24). OKX is a 20% auto-rebate + exclusive rewards.
What is the cheapest way to place your first futures order?
Take 2,500 USDT of margin at 20x leverage. The notional position is 50,000 USDT. Fees are charged on the notional position, not the margin. On XT.COM:
- Market order (taker 0.06%): the opening fee is 30 USDT. After binding, 21 USDT comes back, so you pay 9 USDT.
- Filled limit order (maker 0.04%): the opening fee is 20 USDT. After binding, 14 USDT comes back, so you pay 6 USDT.
Counting opening and closing as one round trip, you pay 18 USDT with market orders and 12 USDT with limit orders. Use limit orders when you can, then add the rebate on top.
How is the rebate calculated after you sign up with a referral code?
The XT.COM rebate works like this: the 60% on futures and 35% on spot from the referral code is refunded automatically by XT.COM. After you bind your UID, Fee Otter adds an extra 10%, for a total of 70% on futures and 45% on spot.
Based on 500 USDT in monthly futures fees: you get back 350 USDT. After binding, the 0.06% futures taker fee drops to 0.018%.
How much can you save in a month?
Here are three trading volumes, calculated with XT.COM's futures list taker fee:
| Monthly futures volume | Monthly fees | Refund with a typical 20% code | Refund with Fee Otter (70%) |
| 100,000 USDT | 60 | 12 | 42 |
| 500,000 USDT | 300 | 60 | 210 |
| 2,000,000 USDT | 1,200 | 240 | 840 |
All figures assume market orders (taker 0.06%), in USDT per month.
If you're already a VIP on an exchange and want to rebind or sign up on another one, contact support: we can help you apply for special trading benefits or a higher rebate rate.
When does the rebate arrive, and where can you see it?
The 60% on futures and 35% on spot from our code is refunded automatically by XT.COM (the right side of the signup page says "60% Auto-Rebate from XT.COM"). The extra rebate is calculated trade by trade by Fee Otter after the daily report is published, and is usually added to your available balance on the rebate dashboard on T+1. The 0.2% spot fee is on the high side, so the refunds there are more noticeable.
- Walking away after seeing the list fees. 0.2% on spot and 0.06% futures taker look expensive, but the rebate is 70% (45% on spot), and the futures net fee after binding is only 0.018%.
- Opening a new account with a phone number or email already registered. To rebind, you need one that has never been registered on XT.COM.
- Thinking you need KYC to withdraw. You can withdraw without verification. Only fiat and P2P require it.
- Moving all assets from the old account at once. Withdrawal limits are per account and per day, so move large amounts over several days.
The first thing to do after signup
- Bind your UID: once bound, the XT.COM rebate totals 70%.
- Turn on two-factor authentication.
- Use limit orders for futures when you can: maker 0.04% is one third lower than taker 0.06%, and the rebate stacks on top.
XT.COM doesn't let you add a code after signup, but rebinding is simple: open a new account through our dedicated link with a phone number or email that has never been registered. You can trade without KYC. Your old account can still withdraw as usual, so just move your assets over. For details, see the XT.COM rebind guide for existing users.
XT.COM's rebate terms are good, but know these risks before you deposit:
- Registration and ratings: XT.COM was founded in 2018 and is registered in Seychelles, outside major financial regulators; its CoinGecko trust score is 7/10.
- Past hot-wallet theft: in November 2024 about $1.7 million was taken from an XT.COM hot wallet and withdrawals were paused; the exchange said the stolen funds were company assets and user funds were unaffected (CoinDesk).
- Don't keep long-term or large balances on the exchange: keep only the funds you are actively trading on XT.COM; withdraw money you aren't trading and anything you hold long term.
- Use a cold wallet for long-term holdings: move large, long-term assets to a hardware cold wallet (such as a Ledger) and keep them offline.
- Futures and high leverage are high risk: beginners should avoid high leverage and learn the rules with small amounts first.
