On 2026-10-22 the official pages of Binance, OKX, Bybit and BingX described their new user rewards like this. Binance gives up to 100 USD in trading fee rebate vouchers for three beginner tasks. OKX enrolls anyone who signs up through a referral or affiliate link in its New User Bonus program, paying crypto or rebate cards that are locked on arrival. Bybit pays a 20 USDT sign-up bonus if you finish KYC within 7 days, and its Welcome Gift page puts the total at up to 5,000 USD. BingX pays new user tasks in Bonus, rebate vouchers and Trial Funds. All four share one limit: you can't withdraw the Trial Funds or Bonus themselves, only the profit you make with them.
This guide puts the four rule sets side by side: what you get, which tasks you need to do, when rewards expire, which regions are excluded, and whether the new user rewards still apply after you sign up with code FEEOTTER for a fee rebate. Reward amounts and tasks change often. The numbers below are what we read on the day we checked, so go by the task page in the app when you sign up.
Key points
- Binance: three beginner tasks, up to 100 USD in fee rebate vouchers that refund spot fees only and can't offset API trades. Business accounts and accounts registered through Binance Lite Referral are not eligible.
- OKX: the New User Bonus program is for new users "signing up through Referral, Affiliate, or other designated referral links". Rewards must be opened within 30 days and are locked on arrival, so you can't withdraw or trade them until the lock-up ends.
- Bybit: you need KYC to claim any reward. Bonus and Fee Savers can't be withdrawn and expire after you claim them. Rewards can take up to 3 days to arrive after a task.
- BingX: Bonus, rebate vouchers and Trial Funds can't be withdrawn or used to pay withdrawal fees. Profit made with a Bonus or Trial Fund can be withdrawn.
- Together with a rebate: none of the four official rule sets excludes users who signed up with an affiliate code. A new user reward is paid once; a rebate comes back every month you trade.

Binance: three beginner tasks, up to 100 USD in vouchers
Binance's help article "How to Get Welcome Rewards" says new users get three beginner tasks in the Rewards Hub and Account Center. Finish them within a limited number of days and you can unlock up to 100 USD worth of Trading Fee Rebate Vouchers. Tasks are issued only after your account is verified; if they arrive late, trades still count from your registration time. Binance also says the tasks may vary by region or user.
Once you redeem a voucher, your spot trading fees are refunded the next day to your Spot Wallet in USDT, USDC or BNB at the voucher's trade-back rate, until the balance runs out or the voucher expires. The limits:
- No API trades: vouchers can't offset API trading fees, and welcome-task vouchers only work in the Binance app.
- Not refunded: futures liquidation and delivery fees, Alpha trades, and Auto-Invest, TWAP and VP bot fees.
- Expiry: any balance left at expiry is lost, and Binance doesn't issue replacements.
- Not eligible: business accounts, accounts registered through Binance Lite Referral, users flagged as risky or fraudulent, and the listed countries and regions (including the US, UK, Canada, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and the Netherlands; see the official page for the full list).
Binance's Vouchers article lists other types too. Token vouchers can be used or withdrawn freely once received. A futures bonus can't be withdrawn, though profit made with it can. Trial funds can't be withdrawn or transferred. No Binance voucher can be transferred to another user.
OKX: an affiliate link enrolls you in the New User Bonus program
The first line of OKX's "New User Bonus program - Terms and Conditions" says the program is for new users "signing up through Referral, Affiliate, or other designated referral links". After sign-up you find the tasks in the Campaign center and claim rewards there or in the app. Tasks and rewards depend on the country of residence you sign up with.
- Trading tasks: a single trade must reach the amount; several small trades don't add up. Zero-fee stablecoin pairs (USDC/USDT, USDG/USDT, USD1/USDT, USDT/USDS, PYUSD/USDT) and zero-fee Convert don't count.
- Deposit tasks: internal transfers, red packets, rewards and P2P sharing-order purchases don't count.
- Lock-up: rewards are issued automatically when you finish a task and are locked on arrival. During the lock-up you can't withdraw or trade them; they unlock automatically when it ends.
- Deadlines: a reward may be crypto or a rebate card and must be opened in the OKX app within 30 days of receipt or it expires. 180 days after sign-up you can no longer see your new user tasks and rewards.
- Sub-accounts are not eligible. If a reward hasn't arrived 48 hours after you finish a task, OKX asks you to contact support.
OKX's Referral Program FAQ (updated 2026-10-05) adds that referral and affiliate relationships can only be set at registration and can't be changed once registration or identity verification is done. The US, the EEA and Singapore have their own new user terms pages with different rules. Past regional campaigns also carried terms like "trades made using OKX rewards or perks (rebate cards, contract vouchers, fee waivers) will not be counted" and "one campaign at a time", for example the 120 USDT MENA campaign of May to June 2025.
On fees, OKX has one wording only: sign up with code FEEOTTER for a 20% automatic rebate + exclusive rewards, with the 20% refunded to your account by OKX.
Bybit: do KYC early, and expired Bonus is taken back
Bybit Learn's "Bybit sign-up" (2026-08-27) says you can claim up to 100 USDT in rewards when you sign up, and the 20 USDT sign-up bonus requires identity verification within 7 days of registration. "Bybit Welcome Gift Rewards" (2026-01-14) describes Welcome Gift as a portal that collects new user campaigns, with a total of up to about 5,000 USD depending on what is running. Many rewards are first come, first served, and the campaigns available differ by region.
The Mantle (MNT) campaign it cites from mid-January 2026 had these first four stages:
| Stage | Task | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Complete identity verification | 20 USDT spot or derivatives Fee Savers |
| 2 | Deposit at least 100 USD | 20 USDT spot or derivatives Fee Savers |
| 3 | Deposit at least 100 USD + trade at least 10 USD | One of: 20 USDT spot Fee Saver, 20 USDT derivatives Bonus, or 20 USDT worth of MNT |
| 4 | Deposit at least 100 USD + trade at least 30,000 USD | 40 USDT spot or derivatives Fee Savers |
Sources: Bybit Welcome Gift Rewards, Bybit sign-up, checked 2026-10-22. This is one campaign's example, not the tasks you will see when you sign up.
How rewards work once you have them is set out in "FAQ - Rewards Hub" and "Differences Between Each Reward Type" (updated 2026-09-15):
- Bonus (derivatives, copy trading, fiat) can't be withdrawn or used for withdrawal fees; profit made with it can be withdrawn. A derivatives Bonus is used before your own funds to cover losses and fees, and you can't opt out.
- Fee Savers offset spot and futures trading fees, can't be withdrawn, don't apply to bots or copy trading, and are lost at expiry.
- Expiry: there is a claim deadline and a separate use deadline after you claim. A Bonus still used as margin is also taken back at expiry, which can push a position closer to liquidation. Bybit says it keeps the Bonus if removing it would cause immediate liquidation, but advises you to watch your positions.
- Timing: rewards can take up to 3 days after a task for risk checks. If nothing arrives after 3 days, submit a support ticket.
- Order of use: Fee Discount first, then Fee Savers, then Bonus (on a Unified Trading Account the Bonus goes before Fee Savers).
- Discounts don't stack: if you hold several fee discount vouchers, or also qualify for VIP, Affiliate Program or other fee promotions, only the biggest discount applies.
Bybit's sign-up guide says the referral code field is optional, so you can register without it. To get a rebate you need to enter FEEOTTER at sign-up. The Bybit rebate is 40%, all paid by Fee Otter; Bybit has no automatic rebate layer.
BingX: Trial Funds, Bonus and rebate vouchers can't be withdrawn
BingX's new user tasks live in the Rewards Hub. "BingX Rewards Hub Rules" says a daily check-in opens a mystery box with Bonus, rebate vouchers or Trial Funds; new user tasks have their own page; and recurring tasks include 3,000 USDT of weekly spot volume for a 5 USDT rebate voucher and 15,000 USDT of weekly futures volume for a 5 USDT Bonus (counted in UTC+8). From 2023-11-13 the spot task rewards in New User Rewards became spot rebate vouchers. When we opened the sign-up page we saw only "Welcome Gift" and headings for sign-up, deposit and trade rewards, with no amounts.
BingX's "What Are BingX Vouchers" has a table of how the three differ:
| Futures Bonus | Rebate voucher | Trial Fund | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Use as margin | Yes | No | Yes, together with your own funds |
| Pay trading fees | No | Yes (refunded after the trade) | No |
| Pay funding fees | No | No | Yes |
| Pay withdrawal fees | No | No | No |
| Withdraw from BingX | No (profit yes) | No | No (profit yes) |

"Regulations on the Use of BingX Vouchers" adds a few rules people often miss:
- Bonus: Standard Futures only, one voucher per trade, orders opened with a Bonus close automatically after 24 hours, and there is a leverage cap.
- Rebate vouchers: only for spot orders you place yourself, not copy trading, grid or Bonus trades. Unfilled limit orders pay no fee, so nothing is refunded.
- Trial Funds: can't be transferred out or used for Convert or grid bots; hedging and self-dealing with them is prohibited. Moving funds out of the futures account may void all your Trial Funds, and positions held up by them may be force-closed.
- Campaign volume: from 2024-11-26, perpetual futures volume tied to fees paid by Trial Funds doesn't count toward campaign rewards.
The BingX rebate is 45%, all paid automatically by BingX. Signing up with code FEEOTTER is enough; there is no UID to bind.
Can you get new user rewards and a rebate together?
What the official pages say:
- Binance: the voucher terms define the refund as the day's net trading fee after VIP and BNB discounts, excluding referral commission, times the trade-back rate. Referred accounts are built into the formula. The welcome rewards page excludes only Binance Lite Referral, and our code is a Binance affiliate code, not Lite Referral.
- OKX: the New User Bonus program exists for users who sign up through referral and affiliate links.
- Bybit: the Rewards Hub FAQ doesn't exclude accounts registered with an affiliate code. It doesn't say whether fees covered by Fee Savers or Bonus count toward the rebate.
- BingX: the voucher rules say "Rebate Voucher is excluded from referral commissions" without more detail. The cautious reading: don't expect a 45% rebate on the part of a fee already refunded by a rebate voucher.
Binance's own example: a referred user pays 100 USDT in fees and the referral commission is 20%, or 20 USDT, leaving 80 USDT. With a 50% trade-back voucher, 40 USDT is deducted from the voucher, taking it from 500 to 460. (Trading Fee Rebate Voucher Terms and Conditions, updated 2026-01-21, checked 2026-10-22)
A new user reward comes once, with tasks and deadlines. A rebate comes back every month you keep trading. You can have both; your long-run cost is decided mostly by the rebate.
Worked example: what each is worth in year one
Say you trade 200,000 USDT of USDT-margined futures a month after signing up, all taker, at the standard (VIP 0) rates: taker 0.05% at Binance, OKX and BingX, and 0.055% at Bybit (Binance, OKX, Bybit, BingX fee pages, checked 2026-10-22). The rebate after signing up with code FEEOTTER:
| Exchange | Monthly fees | Rebate | Monthly rebate | 12-month rebate |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Binance | 100 USDT | 40% (20% automatic + 20% extra) | 40 USDT | 480 USDT |
| OKX | 100 USDT | 20% automatic rebate + exclusive rewards | 20 USDT | 240 USDT |
| Bybit | 110 USDT | 40% (all paid by Fee Otter) | 44 USDT | 528 USDT |
| BingX | 100 USDT | 45% (all paid automatically by BingX) | 45 USDT | 540 USDT |
Compare that with the new user rewards. Binance's up to 100 USD in vouchers refunds spot fees only, so a futures-only trader barely uses it. Bybit's 20 USDT sign-up bonus needs KYC within 7 days, and Fee Savers and Bonus can't be withdrawn and expire. BingX's Bonus and Trial Funds can only be traded with. At this volume, a year of rebate is several times the new user reward ceiling, and the rebate is money you can withdraw.
The extra rebate Fee Otter pays (Binance's 20%, Bybit's 40%) is settled daily and paid on request as on-chain USDT on BEP20, minimum 1 USDT per request, with the 0.015 USDT network fee paid by the user. Rebates apply to trading fees only, not funding or liquidation.
How to claim without missing anything
Sign up with the code
register through Fee Otter's link and check that the referral field shows FEEOTTER before you submit. All four exchanges set the referral relationship at sign-up, and it is hard to change later.Do KYC right away
Binance issues tasks only after verification, and Bybit's 20 USDT needs verification within 7 days.Check the task page before depositing
Rewards Hub on Binance, Campaign center on OKX, Rewards Hub or Welcome Gift on Bybit, Rewards Hub on BingX. Tap "Join" where there is one. Deposit on-chain; OKX says internal transfers, red packets and P2P sharing orders don't count.Trade to the task
OKX trading tasks need a single trade that meets the amount; BingX rebate vouchers only cover spot orders you place yourself.Claim and note the expiry
OKX rewards must be opened within 30 days, and Binance vouchers, Bybit Bonus and BingX Trial Funds all have use deadlines.Set up the rebate
for Binance and Bybit, enter your UID on the Fee Otter rebate page so the extra rebate is credited to you. OKX and BingX work from the sign-up code alone.
Four common misunderstandings
- "Up to 5,000 USD" means you get 5,000 USD: Bybit itself says it depends on what campaigns are available, many rewards are first come, first served, and the top tiers need large deposits and volume.
- You repay Trial Fund losses: no. BingX says Bonus losses are borne by the platform, and Trial Funds can offset losses. Losses on your own funds in the same position are still yours.
- You only get new user rewards without a code: OKX's program is built for referral and affiliate sign-ups, and Binance excludes Lite Referral, not affiliate codes.
- Open more accounts, claim more times: all four say bulk registration or multi-accounting to farm rewards leads to disqualification. BingX counts the same IP, device or KYC; Binance says it can revoke vouchers, and OKX says it can freeze accounts and assets.
Regions: check whether you can take part
New user rewards have tighter regional limits than the exchanges themselves. Binance's welcome rewards page excludes a long list of countries and regions. OKX shows tasks by country of residence and has separate terms for the US, the EEA and Singapore. Bybit says campaigns vary by region. BingX says users in restricted regions and under risk control can't join Rewards Hub tasks. For the regions each exchange doesn't serve at all, see Binance, OKX, Bybit, BingX restricted countries compared.
Risks
Trading just to hit a volume task costs real money in fees, slippage and losses. Bybit's stage 4 asks for 30,000 USD of trading for 40 USDT in Fee Savers; at 0.055% taker the fees alone are 16.5 USDT, before spread. Binance, OKX and BingX all say they can change or end a campaign at any time, and eligibility is decided by the exchange.
- Expiry: when a Bonus or Trial Fund expires or is voided, positions held up by it can be liquidated.
- Rule changes: BingX's Rewards Hub rules date from 2022 and have been adjusted several times since; OKX's new user terms page was published on 2023-09-29 with no update date. When an official page and the app disagree, go by the app.
- Scams: services that offer to "claim your new user rewards for you" or promise you'll get them usually want your login, API keys or an upfront payment. Don't use them.
