What it is and who it suits
Known for built-in trading bots: grid, DCA, arbitrage and other strategy tools are ready to use. Best for people who want automated trading without writing code.
How it differs from the others
Signing up through Fee Otter's dedicated link carries a 15% automatic rebate set by Pionex itself (spot, futures and futures bots alike), and futures go up to 50% through Fee Otter; the 0.05% spot fee is already low. It is also one of the few exchanges that lets you add a referral code after signup.
Common pitfalls
- The backfill window counts from signup: 14 days if you have never used a bot, only 3 days once you have. The safest move is to add the code before your first trade.
- Pionex's official page says manual trades do not shorten the window, but some Chinese-language guides say they do, so play it safe.
- The "ask support to transfer your KYC" advice circulating online no longer applies.
How existing users rebind
Within the window, bind a referrer from the avatar menu (Account settings on the web, Referral code in the app). Past the window, or if the account already has another code: delete the old account and sign up again right away through the dedicated link. The new account trades normally with KYC Level 1; complete KYC Level 2 once 30 days have passed since the old account was closed (confirmed by Pionex support in September 2026).

What you actually get back: three monthly volumes
At the Pionex futures taker fee of 0.05%, this is the monthly fee, the rebate returned through Fee Otter and the net fee after rebate for 100K, 1M and 10M USDT of futures volume a month.
| Monthly futures volume | Fee | Back via Fee Otter | Net fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| 100K USDT | 50 | 25 | 25 |
| 1M USDT | 500 | 250 | 250 |
| 10M USDT | 5,000 | 2,500 | 2,500 |
Over a year, 1M USDT of futures volume a month returns about 3,000 USDT.
All volume is priced at the taker rate, excluding platform-token discounts and funding. A higher maker share lowers the fee, and the rebate scales with the fee actually paid.
