XT.COM Earn splits into three groups by how quickly you can get your money back. Flexible Savings, On-chain Earn and XRWU can be redeemed any time, but On-chain Earn has a waiting period and XRWU fast redemption costs 0.1%. Wealth Management accepts redemption requests any time but pays out only on fixed dates each month. Fixed Savings, Shark Fin and Smart Trend cannot be redeemed early; you get the principal back at maturity (checked 2026-10-17).
XT.COM keeps its yield products under the "Finance" menu, and the names differ from other exchanges. Flexible, fixed and VIP-exclusive products sit under Savings; there is also On-chain Earn, XRWU (linked to real-world assets such as US Treasuries), Wealth Management for high-net-worth users, two structured products (Shark Fin and Smart Trend), Launchpool, and Futures Auto-Earn, which pays interest inside your futures account. This guide uses XT.COM's help center product pages, announcements and the official Earn API docs to set out how each one handles subscription, redemption, interest and payouts. APRs float, the Earn page shows no figures until you log in, and any APR quoted here is from the product's announcement, not a promise of what you will earn later.
If you trade on XT.COM, sign up with code FEEOTTER for a 70% futures rebate (60% automatic exchange rebate + 10% extra rebate), 3.5 times a common 20% code. Earn products charge no trading fees; how they relate to rebates is covered further down.
Start with when you might need the money
The official Earn API documentation (checked 2026-10-17) lists which products allow subscription and redemption. Combined with the product pages:
| Liquidity | Products | Key rule |
|---|---|---|
| Redeem any time | Flexible Savings | Interest starts the next full hour and is paid hourly |
| Redeem any time, with a wait | On-chain Earn, XRWU | On-chain Earn has a redemption period with no rewards; XRWU fast redemption is instant at 0.1%, standard is T+3 at 0.05% |
| Request any time, paid on fixed dates | Wealth Management | 7, 15 or 30-day cycles with fixed monthly payout and redemption dates |
| Locked until maturity | Fixed Savings, Shark Fin, Smart Trend, Flash Sale | No early redemption; some support auto-reinvest |
| Stays in the futures account | Futures Auto-Earn | Switch on after meeting asset and volume thresholds; paid T+1 to the futures account |
Flexible and Fixed Savings
According to Introduction to XT Savings, Savings comes in flexible, fixed and VIP-exclusive versions, with over 250 coins across flexible and fixed products. XT.COM says the yield comes from a lending market.
- Flexible: interest starts the hour after you subscribe (H+1) and is paid hourly; hourly interest = holding × current APR ÷ (365 × 24). The API docs say you can subscribe and redeem any time, with auto-subscribe available.
- Fixed: terms of 7, 30, 60, 90, 180 or 365 days; interest starts the day after you subscribe (D+1) and is paid daily; daily interest = holding × current APR ÷ 365.
- VIP Exclusive: for VIP clients, described as higher-yield with more asset choices and one-to-one advisory. The page gives no entry threshold.
XT.COM Fixed Savings cannot be redeemed early: the API docs list it as "subscribe, no redemption", and the USDT fixed savings FAQ says the funds stay frozen until they unlock at maturity. Do not put money you might need into a fixed product.
The flexible interest schedule is described inconsistently. The Savings introduction says hourly, while the USD1 flexible launch notice gives "Daily 00:00 (UTC)" as the interest accrual time. Go by the start and payout times shown in the subscription window.
APR examples from announcements
The Earn page shows no APRs when logged out, so the only public figures are in launch announcements. The USD1 flexible notice gives an estimated 1.5% APR with a 1,000,000 cap per user; the 7-day XT fixed notice gives an expected 100% yield, but the personal quota is only 80 XT. High rates usually come with tiny caps, so check the limit before you subscribe.
Products also get withdrawn. On 20 September 2026 XT.COM announced that 21 flexible products, including ARB, ENA and ONDO, plus MON On-chain Earn would close on 25 September, with remaining holdings redeemed automatically (official notice).
On-chain Earn: redeem any time, no rewards while you wait
From Introduction to XT On-chain Earn:
- What it is: XT.COM picks PoS projects and stakes on your behalf; it says staked assets are held in its cold wallets.
- Minimum: for ETH, from 0.001 ETH.
- Interest: starts the day after staking (D+1); daily earnings = staked amount × floating APR ÷ 365. XT.COM says the APR moves with network activity, total stake, inflation and protocol upgrades.
- Redemption: request it any time, but the funds return to your spot account only after the redemption period, and no staking rewards accrue during that period. The waiting time is shown in each product's redemption window; the introduction does not list it.
XRWU: Treasury-linked, two ways to redeem
According to Introduction to XT On-chain Elite (XRWU), XRWU is a yield certificate token issued by XT.COM. You subscribe with USDT or USDC at 1 XRWU = 1 USDC, and XT.COM says the yield comes from real-world assets such as tokenised US Treasuries and money market funds, referencing Treasury yields of around 4% to 5%.
- Interest starts at 00:00 UTC on T+1; from T+2 the previous day's yield is paid daily in XRWU to your spot account and compounds.
- No fixed term; redeem any time, and you receive USDC.
- Fast redemption: credited to spot immediately, 0.1% fee. Standard redemption: credited on T+3, 0.05% fee. No yield accrues during redemption.
Worked example: redeeming 10,000 USDT of XRWU
Assume a 4.5% APR, the middle of XT.COM's 4% to 5% range (it floats):
| Item | Fast | Standard |
|---|---|---|
| Redemption fee | 10,000 × 0.1% = 10 USDC | 10,000 × 0.05% = 5 USDC |
| Arrival | Immediate | T+3 |
| Yield lost while waiting (approx.) | 0 | 10,000 × 4.5% × 3 ÷ 365 ≈ 3.70 USDC |
| Total cost (approx.) | 10 USDC | 8.70 USDC |
The gap is about 1.3 USDC. If you need the money now, use fast redemption; if not, standard is slightly cheaper, but the funds are stuck for those three days.
Wealth Management: request any time, paid on fixed dates
According to Introduction to XT Wealth Management, this is aimed at high-net-worth individuals, institutions and VIPs. XT.COM says returns come mainly from low-risk neutral arbitrage strategies, with no management fee. There is no fixed term and you can redeem any time, but interest and redemptions are paid on fixed dates each month (UTC):
| Settlement cycle | Interest starts | Interest paid | Redemption arrives |
|---|---|---|---|
| 7 days | T+1 | 1st / 8th / 15th / 22nd | 2nd / 9th / 16th / 23rd |
| 15 days | T+2 | 1st / 15th | 3rd / 17th |
| 30 days | T+3 | 1st | 4th |
XT.COM says redeemed funds return to spot at the fixed arrival time after the next settlement date, and interest for that cycle is not affected. On a 30-day cycle, a request made just after the 4th comes back around the 4th of the next month, so the money can be tied up for almost a month.
Shark Fin and Smart Trend: short terms, no early exit
Both are structured products bought with stablecoins whose yield depends on a coin's price range. Terms are usually 3 or 7 days, you cannot redeem before settlement, and auto-renewal is available.
- Shark Fin (official introduction): if the price stays inside the preset range for the whole subscription period, APR = minimum APR + (settlement price − lower limit) ÷ (upper limit − lower limit) × (maximum APR − minimum APR). If the price ever leaves the range, you get only the guaranteed APR. XT.COM's example: BTC range 60,000 to 65,000, APR 10% to 18%, guaranteed 8%, 10,000 USDT for 7 days. Settling at 64,000 pays 16.4%, about 31.45 USDT; leaving the range pays 8%, about 15.34 USDT.
- Smart Trend (official introduction): only the settlement price counts. For a bullish product, settling above the range pays the maximum APR, below it the minimum, and in between a proportional rate. Principal and yield reach your spot account at 12:00 UTC on the maturity date.
Shark Fin is under maintenance: on 10 October 2026 XT.COM suspended new launches, warned that four 7-day BTC and ETH products due on 9 October might settle late, and said they would not auto-renew afterwards (official notice).
XT.COM calls Shark Fin, Smart Trend and Savings "principal-protected", meaning you get your principal back in the same coin at maturity. That says nothing about the platform itself. The assets sit on XT.COM's books, and delayed settlement has already happened, so principal protection is not the same as no risk.
Launchpool and Futures Auto-Earn
Launchpool
From Introduction to XT Launchpool: stake designated assets such as USDT or XT to mine new tokens. The hourly reward pool is fixed, hourly earnings = total hourly pool reward × your holdings ÷ total pool holdings, and rewards go to your spot account every hour. Shares bought during pre-subscription cannot be redeemed during that phase; products have fixed terms and some allow early redemption; you cannot subscribe in the last hour before a product ends.
Futures Auto-Earn
According to the Futures Auto-Earn user guide, once switched on, your USDT-M futures account (including unrealised PnL on open positions) earns daily compounding interest, paid to the main futures account after 00:00 UTC.
- You need both an asset threshold and a 30-day futures volume threshold; XT.COM's examples are 1,000 USDT each, and the card shows the actual numbers.
- Interest is based on the lowest of 24 hourly snapshots that day; if that low is under the threshold, there is no interest that day.
- Sub-accounts can switch it on only after the main account does, and turning it off on the main account turns it off everywhere. It may be unavailable in some countries or regions.
Because the lowest snapshot counts, a large intraday loss or moving funds out of the futures account shrinks that day's interest base.
How Earn relates to rebates
Rebates are calculated on trading fees only. Flexible and fixed savings, On-chain Earn, XRWU, Wealth Management, the structured products and Launchpool are not trades and charge no trading fees, so they generate no fee rebate; XRWU's redemption fee is not a trading fee either. XT.COM runs its own "USDT Fixed Savings Rebate", which gives inviters a share of their invitees' fixed savings interest for 360 days (official FAQ). That is an XT.COM referral campaign and has nothing to do with Fee Otter's rebate.
Earn yield and trading rebates are calculated separately, and one account can have both. Sign up on XT.COM with our code FEEOTTER and 70% of your futures fees come back, with XT.COM paying 60% straight into your exchange account (screenshots on the rebate rates page). Monthly volume examples are in the XT.COM fee rebate guide; existing users can follow the XT.COM rebind guide; and Earn rules across exchanges are compared in exchange Earn products compared.
If you are already a VIP on another exchange or trade large volumes, contact Fee Otter support. We work directly with the exchanges' official teams to request benefits such as VIP tier trials; the exchange decides what is granted.
