WEEX Earn Guide 2026: Auto Earn 13%/3.5% Tiers, Staking Rules

WEEX Auto Earn tiers, which balances count and payout times; flexible vs fixed Staking and early-redemption clawback; WXT and WE-Launch. Code otter123: 70% rebate.

WEEX has two Earn products at the moment. Auto Earn needs no subscription and no lock-up: switch it on and your USDT balance earns interest daily, 13% APR on the first 200 USDT and 3.5% on 200 to 100,000 USDT for regular users. Staking comes in flexible and fixed versions; flexible can be redeemed any time, while redeeming fixed early claws back all accrued rewards, including ones already paid. Both pay into your funding account, and WEEX says neither is principal-guaranteed (checked 2026-10-17).

This guide is based on WEEX help center announcements for Auto Earn and Staking, the FAQ on the Staking page and the WE-Launch rules. It covers which balances Auto Earn counts, when it pays, how the new-user rate works, how flexible and fixed Staking differ, what the APR on the page means, and whether WXT in Staking affects WE-Launch airdrops. APRs on the page and in announcements float, the Staking page says it shows the highest possible rate, and the figures here are from the announcements at the time.

If you trade on WEEX, sign up with code otter123 and bind through Fee Otter for a 70% futures rebate (60% automatic exchange rebate + 10% extra rebate), 3.5 times a common 20% code. Earn products charge no trading fees; how they relate to rebates is covered further down.

Auto Earn: no lock-up, USDT in three accounts earns together

From WEEX's Introducing the new Auto Earn (launched 1 October 2025, notice updated 2026-01-29) and How to participate in Auto Earn:

  • Switching on: in the app, go to Assets, tap Auto Earn and toggle the switch in the middle of the page. Interest starts once you confirm.
  • What earns: spot balance (available + frozen) + funding balance (available + frozen) + available futures balance, excluding futures trial funds.
  • Snapshots and payout: the system takes random snapshots of the interest-bearing balance and pays the previous day's earnings at 12:00 UTC the next day to your funding account.
  • Minimum and cap: 0.01 USDT minimum; the interest-bearing cap is 100,000 USDT, and anything above earns nothing.
  • Moving funds stops interest: funds transferred out or withdrawn while it is on stop earning for that portion.
  • Eligibility: the help center says users without KYC must complete it first; the product is only available in some countries or regions, and accounts flagged as at risk cannot switch it on.

Rate tiers

UserPrincipalAPR (floating)
New user (switched on within 7 days of KYC)0 to 100 USDT100%
100 to 100,000 USDT3.5%
Regular user0 to 200 USDT13%
200 to 100,000 USDT3.5%

The two official articles disagree. The older How to participate (updated 2025-12-03) gives 3.20% for the second tier and a 10,000 USDT cap; the newer launch notice (updated 2026-01-29) gives 3.5% and 100,000 USDT. The table uses the newer notice; the page you see when switching on is what applies. Neither article says how long the 100% new-user rate lasts.

Worked example: what does 5,000 USDT earn in a year?

A regular user with 5,000 USDT sitting in spot or funding, assuming the rates stay flat all year:

TierCalculationYearly earnings (USDT)
First 200 USDT200 × 13%26
Remaining 4,800 USDT4,800 × 3.5%168
Total194 ÷ 5,000194 (about 3.88%, roughly 0.53 a day)

The 13% only applies to the first 200 USDT, so the larger the balance, the closer the overall rate gets to 3.5%; at 100,000 USDT it is about 3.52%. Note too that only the available futures balance counts: USDT already used as position margin earns nothing, so heavy futures traders earn on less than their account total.

Staking: flexible redeems any time, fixed claws back rewards

WEEX launched Staking on 23 January 2026 (official notice) with BTC, ETH, SOL, USDD and BDX, then added USD1, USDC, XRP, ADA, DOGE, LINK, WXT and others. It sits under Wealth → Staking. From the FAQ on the WEEX Staking page (checked 2026-10-17):

  • Which account: you can subscribe from your spot or funding account; holdings show on the Assets page.
  • Rewards: flexible and fixed both accrue daily and pay automatically to the funding account, in the same coin.
  • The APR shown: the highest possible rate.
  • Flexible redemption: any time, with rewards settled on the actual holding period.
  • Fixed early redemption: allowed, but all accrued rewards, including those already distributed, are deducted.
  • Risk: WEEX states that none of these products are principal-guaranteed, and fixed products carry liquidity risk during the lock-up.

APR examples from announcements

The Staking page does not show product APRs when logged out, so the public figures are in launch notices: USD1 flexible at an estimated 18% (2026-02-03), ETH flexible at 5% (2026-02-13), and WXT at 1% flexible and 2.5% fixed (2026-03-20). These were estimates at launch, WEEX says rates adjust with market and on-chain conditions, and minimums and reward rules are on each product page.

Worked example: WXT in fixed Staking, needed back early

Say you put 10,000 WXT in fixed Staking at 2.5% for 30 days (the WXT notice gives no term, so 30 days is an assumption) and want it back on day 20:

ScenarioCalculationRewards kept (WXT)
Fixed, held 30 days10,000 × 2.5% × 30 ÷ 365about 20.55
Fixed, redeemed on day 20the ~13.70 already paid is deducted too0
Flexible from the start, 20 days10,000 × 1% × 20 ÷ 365about 5.48

If there is any chance you will need the coins early, flexible ends up paying more.

Does WXT in Staking affect WE-Launch?

Under the WE-Launch rules, you need at least 300 WXT in your spot account to join airdrops. The system takes three random snapshots a day and uses the lowest over two consecutive days; you can commit 300 to 500,000 WXT, committed WXT is not frozen, and locked coins do not count. The rules name the spot account, and Staking moves coins out of it, so WXT in Staking does not count toward WE-Launch holdings. If you want both, decide how to split your WXT.

How Earn relates to rebates

Rebates are calculated on trading fees only. Auto Earn and Staking are not trades and charge no trading fees, so they generate no fee rebate. Rebates come from trading: sign up on WEEX with our code otter123 and bind your UID, and 70% of your futures fees come back. WEEX pays 60% straight into your exchange account and Fee Otter settles the other 10% daily; screenshots are on the rebate rates page.

Earn yield and trading rebates are calculated separately, and one account can have both. Auto Earn adds a small bonus here: rebated USDT sitting in your spot or funding account earns interest too while Auto Earn is on. Rebate examples are in the WEEX fee rebate guide, sign-up steps in how to register on WEEX, existing users can follow the WEEX rebind guide, and Earn rules across exchanges are compared in exchange Earn products compared.

If you are already a VIP on another exchange or trade large volumes, contact Fee Otter support. We work directly with the exchanges' official teams to request benefits such as VIP tier trials; the exchange decides what is granted.

Risks: no principal guarantee, changing rates, platform risk

WEEX's Staking notice and Staking page both say returns do not constitute a principal guarantee and that price swings in digital assets can cause a loss of principal. Rewards on BTC, ETH or WXT are paid in the same coin, so if the price falls, your holdings are still worth less in USDT.

  • Rates change: Auto Earn and Staking APRs float and WEEX can adjust them at any time; the Staking page shows the highest rate.
  • Inconsistent rules: the two official Auto Earn articles give different rates and caps; the page at switch-on applies.
  • Platform risk: Earn assets sit on WEEX's books. WEEX says it holds a 1,000 BTC user protection fund (protection fund page); reserves and how to check them are in WEEX proof of reserves.

Official Earn products are only on the WEEX website and app. Turn down any "earn" offer that asks you to send assets to a person.

Where WEEX operates

The WEEX Terms of Use (checked 2026-10-17) list excluded jurisdictions: Canada, the United States and its territories, mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore, the UAE, North Korea, Cuba, Iran, Syria, Sudan, Russian-controlled regions of Ukraine, Somalia, Myanmar and Venezuela, and say WEEX can end service in other places at its discretion. Residents of these places cannot open accounts. Auto Earn is also limited to some countries or regions for now. Licensing by country is in exchange licences by country.

FAQ

Do I need to subscribe to WEEX Auto Earn?

No. Once the switch is on, USDT in spot and funding and the available USDT in futures earn automatically, and the funds stay usable.

When is Auto Earn interest paid?

The previous day's earnings arrive at 12:00 UTC the next day in your funding account.

Does Auto Earn require KYC?

The help center says users must complete KYC first; switching on within 7 days of KYC approval gets the new-user rate.

Can I redeem fixed Staking early?

Yes, but all accrued rewards are deducted, including ones already paid out.

Is the APR on the Staking page what I will get?

Not necessarily. The page says it shows the highest possible rate, and rates float.

Do WEEX Earn products earn a rebate?

No fee rebate, because Earn charges no trading fees. Rebates come from trading: sign up with our code otter123 and bind your UID for 70% back on futures fees.
