The cheapest network for withdrawing USDT depends on the exchange. On Binance, Bitget and HTX it is BEP20, at 0.01 USDT per withdrawal. OKX's withdrawal list has no BEP20; among common networks, Arbitrum (USDT0) costs only 0.0036 USDT. KuCoin charges 1 USDT for BEP20, so TON at 0.5 USDT is cheaper there, and on XT.COM Polygon is lowest at 0.02 USDT. TRC20, which many people use out of habit, costs 0.5 to 1.99 USDT, and every exchange in the table below has a cheaper network (verified October 2026).
Many people keep their old habits when they switch exchanges: they pick TRC20 everywhere, or assume BEP20 is always the cheapest. In fact the same network can cost 100 times more on one exchange than another: BEP20 is 0.01 USDT on Binance and 1 USDT on KuCoin. Minimum withdrawals differ too. XT.COM requires at least 10 USDT on every network and Bitget 5 USDT, while HTX lets you withdraw from 1 USDT on most. This article puts the numbers returned by each exchange's official fee page and public API on 2026-10-13 side by side, and ends with what actually arrives when you withdraw 100 USDT.
USDT withdrawal fees by network
All figures are in USDT, charged as a flat fee per withdrawal regardless of the amount.

ⓘ OKX labels its Arbitrum and Polygon networks as USDT0, so check that the receiving side supports them. KuCoin's API also lists a 0.2% rate field for ERC20; the withdrawal page shows the actual charge. OKX's fee page does not list BEP20, and HTX's Arbitrum and Polygon withdrawals were suspended on the day we checked.
We could not re-read official fee data for Bybit, MEXC and WEEX this time, so they are not in the table. For their network fees, see each exchange's deposit and withdrawal guide, and go by the withdrawal page before you submit.
Cheapest network and minimum withdrawal
| Exchange | Cheapest network (fee) | Cheapest common network | Minimum withdrawal |
|---|---|---|---|
| Binance | BEP20 (0.01) | BEP20 (0.01) | 5 on most networks; 3 on Arbitrum and TON |
| OKX | Plasma USDT0 (0.0000055) | Arbitrum USDT0 (0.0036) | 10 on TRC20; 0.02 on X Layer; 2 on others |
| Bitget | BEP20, Morph (0.01) | BEP20 (0.01) | 5 on every network |
| KuCoin | Plasma (0.4) | TON (0.5) | 1 to 1.6 on TON and Polygon; 4 on TRC20; 10 on BEP20; 30 on ERC20 |
| XT.COM | Aptos (0.01) | Polygon (0.02) | 10 on every network |
| HTX | BEP20 (0.01) | BEP20 (0.01) | Mostly 1 on common networks; 2 on Solana |
"Common networks" means the seven in the first table. Same sources as above, checked 2026-10-13. When we checked on 2026-10-13, Bitget's minimum withdrawal was 10 USDT; our recheck on 2026-10-22 shows it has dropped to 5 USDT, with network fees unchanged.
Minimum withdrawals block small withdrawals: with only 8 USDT on XT.COM you can't withdraw on any network, Bitget needs at least 5 USDT, and on HTX you can send as little as 1 USDT over BEP20.
Worked example: what arrives when you withdraw 100 USDT
How it is calculated:
- Amount received = amount withdrawn − withdrawal fee
- Fee share = withdrawal fee ÷ amount withdrawn
| Exchange | Received via TRC20 | Received via the cheapest common network | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| Binance | 100 − 1.5 = 98.5 (1.5%) | BEP20: 100 − 0.01 = 99.99 | 1.49 |
| OKX | 100 − 1.5 = 98.5 (1.5%) | Arbitrum: 100 − 0.0036 = 99.9964 | 1.4964 |
| Bitget | 100 − 1.5 = 98.5 (1.5%) | BEP20: 100 − 0.01 = 99.99 | 1.49 |
| KuCoin | 100 − 1.99 = 98.01 (1.99%) | TON: 100 − 0.5 = 99.5 | 1.49 |
| XT.COM | 100 − 1 = 99 (1%) | Polygon: 100 − 0.02 = 99.98 | 0.98 |
| HTX | 100 − 0.5 = 99.5 (0.5%) | BEP20: 100 − 0.01 = 99.99 | 0.49 |
The fee is a flat amount, so the smaller the withdrawal, the bigger its share. On Binance via TRC20, it takes 1.5% of a 100 USDT withdrawal but only 0.15% of 1,000 USDT. If you often withdraw small amounts, picking the right network saves you the most in percentage terms.
Fee Otter's extra rebate is paid over BEP20
An exchange's automatic rebate goes straight back to your exchange account, with nothing on chain. The extra rebate paid by Fee Otter is withdrawn as an on-chain USDT transfer over BEP20 (BNB Smart Chain). The minimum per withdrawal is 1 USDT, and the 0.015 USDT network fee is paid by you. Withdraw 20 USDT and you receive 20 − 0.015 = 19.985 USDT.
- The receiving address must support BEP20: you can use your own wallet or an exchange's USDT deposit address, choosing BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) on the deposit page.
- Binance, Bitget, KuCoin, XT.COM and HTX: their official data shows BEP20 USDT deposits are currently open.
- OKX: its withdrawal fee list has no BEP20. Before withdrawing your extra rebate straight to OKX, check whether OKX's deposit page offers BNB Smart Chain. If it doesn't, receive it in your own wallet instead.
For rebate rates and how to bind, see the exchange fee rebate comparison.
How to choose
- Start with the receiving side: find out which networks the receiving exchange or wallet supports, then pick the cheapest of those. If the two sides use different networks, you may not get the money back.
- Withdrawing from Binance, Bitget or HTX: if the receiver supports BEP20, use BEP20.
- Withdrawing from OKX: if the receiver supports Arbitrum, Polygon or TON, the fee is under 0.02 USDT. If it only supports TRC20, you pay 1.5 USDT and must withdraw at least 10 USDT.
- Withdrawing from KuCoin: TON costs 0.5 USDT with a 1 USDT minimum; BEP20 costs more, at 1 USDT with a 10 USDT minimum.
- Withdrawing from XT.COM: Polygon at 0.02 USDT is cheapest, and every network has a 10 USDT minimum.
- Keep ERC20 for when you have no choice: KuCoin from 5.5 USDT and XT.COM at 4 USDT are the most expensive combinations in the table.
Risks and things to watch
- Wrong network: you may not get the money back. Recovery rules and fees vary a lot by exchange; see each exchange's deposit and withdrawal guide.
- TON needs a memo: Binance and HTX both require a memo for USDT on TON. Without it, the deposit may not reach your account.
- USDT0 and newer networks: OKX labels Plasma, Arbitrum, Polygon and others as USDT0, and networks such as Aptos and Morph are not accepted everywhere. If the receiving side doesn't list the network, don't use it.
- Fees change: the figures here are only what we found on 2026-10-13. Compared with our 2026-09-28 check, Binance's ERC20 fee went from 0.3 to 0.5 USDT and Arbitrum from 0.1 to 0.4 USDT. Check the amount on the withdrawal page before you submit.
- Networks get suspended: HTX's Arbitrum and Polygon withdrawals and KuCoin's Optimism deposits were suspended on the day we checked. The withdrawal page shows the current status.
FAQ
Which network is cheapest for withdrawing USDT?
It depends on the exchange. BEP20 (0.01 USDT) on Binance, Bitget and HTX; Arbitrum USDT0 and similar networks (0.0036 USDT) on OKX; TON (0.5 USDT) on KuCoin; Polygon (0.02 USDT) on XT.COM. The receiving side must support the same network.
Why is TRC20 more expensive?
Exchanges set their own withdrawal fees. On 2026-10-13, TRC20 was 1.5 USDT on Binance, OKX and Bitget, 1.99 USDT on KuCoin, 1 USDT on XT.COM and 0.5 USDT on HTX, and every exchange had a cheaper network.
Which exchanges let me withdraw less than 10 USDT?
HTX has a 1 USDT minimum on most networks; Binance 5 USDT on most, and 3 USDT on Arbitrum and TON; OKX 2 USDT on most networks other than TRC20; KuCoin 1 USDT on TON; Bitget 5 USDT on every network. XT.COM requires 10 USDT on every network.
Can Fee Otter's extra rebate be withdrawn straight to an exchange?
Yes, as long as that deposit address supports BEP20. The extra rebate is withdrawn over BEP20, with a 1 USDT minimum and a 0.015 USDT network fee. For OKX, first check its deposit page for a BNB Smart Chain option.
Do withdrawal fees affect my rebate?
No. Rebates are calculated only on trading fees. Deposits and withdrawals earn no rebate and don't change the rate.
